SCOTUS to Hear Landmark Internet Censorship Case

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The U.S. Supreme Court announced Friday afternoon that it will hear the landmark Missouri v. Biden case, which stemmed from a lawsuit the Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general filed last year against the Biden administration for pressuring tech companies to censor dissident views.

Unfortunately for free speech proponents, SCOTUS also placed a temporary stay on a lower court’s decision to ban the Biden administration from its censorship efforts. A district court had banned Biden from censoring the internet on July 4, and an appeals court largely upheld the ban in September—but SCOTUS overturned both those decisions, at least temporarily.

Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch all dissented the decision to halt the ban on censorship.

“What the Court has done, I fear, will be seen by some as giving the Government a green light to use heavy-handed tactics to skew the presentation of views on the medium that increasingly dominates the dissemination of news,” Justice Alito said in a statement joined by Thomas and Gorsuch.

“Government censorship of private speech is antithetical to our democratic form of government, and therefore today’s decision is highly disturbing.”

Reacting to Friday’s decision, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said he welcomes the opportunity to dismantle Biden’s censorship regime once and for all.

The Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general initially sued the U.S. government in May 2022. They sued Biden, former press secretary Jen Psaki, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Mayorkas, the new director of DHS’ “Disinformation Governance Board” Nina Jankowicz, and others.

The attorneys general argued that Biden and his officials colluded with big tech companies, including Meta, Twitter, and Youtube, to censor truthful information about a range of issues— including the coronavirus, election integrity and Hunter Biden’s laptop—under the guise of combating “misinformation.”

In a landmark ruling released July 4, a lower court agreed with the plaintiffs.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth,’” U.S. Judge Terry A. Doughty said in his scathing judgment, which granted a injunction on the Biden administration from pressuing social media companies to censor.

Democrats and left-leaning media criticized the ruling at the time, claiming that the judge had a conservative bias. But the Fifth Circuit largely upheld the lower court injunction on Friday.

“Ultimately, we find the district court did not err in determining that several officials—namely the White House, the Surgeon General, the CDC, and the FBI—likely coerced or significantly encouraged social-media platforms to moderate content, rendering those decisions state actions,” the appeals court said.

“In doing so, the officials likely violated the First Amendment.”

In its decision, the appeals court cited numerous examples of the Biden administration acting unconstitutionally.

“For example, one White House official demanded more details and data on Facebook’s internal policies at least twelve times, including to ask what was being done to curtail ‘dubious’ or ‘sensational’ content, what ‘interventions’ were being taken, what ‘measurable impact’ the platforms’ moderation policies had, ‘how much content [was] being demoted,’ and what ‘misinformation’ was not being downgraded,” the justices said.

House GOP Releases Evidence of Joe Biden Directly Benefiting from Family’s Influence Grift

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Throughout the Hunter Biden influence-peddling scandal, defenders of Joe Biden have continuously blasted Republicans for failing to provide evidence that the President directly benefited from his family’s scheme.

But on Friday, the House Oversight Committee released perhaps the strongest evidence to date. Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., released a check showing that Biden received a $200,000 check from his brother, James—on the exact same day as James received a $200,000 loan from a failing hospital-management company.

According to a personal check from James to Joe, the funds were a repayment of a loan the President made to his brother.

And according to Comer, the hospital management company—Americore Health—had loaned James the $200,000 because the bankrupt company thought the President’s brother could attract investments from the Middle East.

Though the James Biden loan and subsequent payment to his brother were in 2018—when Biden wasn’t in office—it nevertheless indicates that Joe participated and benefited directly from his family’s influence business.

Comer said he’s seeking more information about the matter.

“Does Joe have docs proving he leant such a large amount to his brother, and what were the terms? And did he know that the same day James wrote him a check, James had just received a loan from Americore?” Comer asked.

“Even if it’s a loan repayment, it’s still distressing that James’s ability to repay depended on shady dealings,” he added.

The check from James to Joe is the latest damning financial record about the family’s racket.

In May, the Oversight Committee released records revealing that more than 20 companies, 12 banks and nine Biden relatives were used in an alleged complex money-laundering scheme.

Perhaps the most shocking revelation from the May records was that one of Biden’s grandchildren was allegedly used in this scheme.

Comer said Friday that the “House Oversight will soon announce its next investigative actions.”

White House Instagram Post Doxxes Elite Delta Force Troops

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The White House may have endangered the lives of service members and compromised military strategy by sharing an Instagram photo Thursday of President Joe Biden shaking hands with the elite Delta Force, Blaze Media reported

It posted the photo from the official @whitehouse account while the president visited Israel in support of its forthcoming military operation in Gaza, as the longtime ally continues to reel from an Oct. 7 terrorist massacre that killed an estimated 1,300 innocent civilians.

“In Israel, President Biden met with first responders to thank them for their bravery and the work they’re doing in response to the Hamas terrorist attacks,” said the now-removed post.

Pentagon practice is to keep the identities of its elite units confidential, whether they are in the training stages or in combat.

Several Republicans slammed the president and his administration for their complete failure to protect special-forces members.

“This Biden Administration photo op compromised the safety of American special forces in Israel,” tweeted Rep. Mike Ezell, R-Miss.

“While we should all recognize and appreciate their service, we shouldn’t do so in a way that undermines their mission or puts them in additional danger,” he added.

Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-Tenn., called the blunder “gross incompetence.”

In response, the White House issued a statement apologizing for the irreversible mishap.

“As soon as this was brought to our attention, we immediately deleted the photo,” the statement said. “We regret the error and any issues this may have caused.”

The administration has not publicly acknowledged any direct U.S. role in military operations in Israel.

“There’s no plans or intentions to put U.S. troops on the ground to fight in this fight between Israel and Hamas,” White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told Fox News’s Shannon Bream on Sunday.

However, he said it was keeping its options open in terms of hostage-recovery efforts.

“We are actively trying to find out where they are,” Kirby said of the Americans taken hostage by Hamas.

“… [But] we don’t even know how many exactly,” he added. “We have a small handful. We know there could be more than we know that could be in different groups. It could be moved around.”

Kirby went on to emphasize the importance of not being too forthcoming with information, begging the public’s forgiveness for his lack of transparency due to the high level of sensitivity.

“I hope everybody can understand—we’re gonna be careful about what we say publicly about our efforts to get those hostages home,” he said. “…We’re working this literally by the hour, but we’re not going to get ahead in where we are in policy operations since we don’t have necessarily all the information that we need to try to get them home.”

UPDATE: Jim Jordan Drops out of Speaker Race after FTX-Funded RINOs Sabotage Campaign

Note: This story was initially published in the wake of Rep. Jim Jordan losing his third bid to be House Speaker. Since then, Jordan has dropped out of contention, and this story has been updated accordingly.

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) For the third time in a row, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, failed to secure the House speakership after 25 Republicans refused to vote for him on Friday.

Later in the afternoon, the GOP conference met privately and ended his candidacy by a vote of 112 to 86, according to Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky.

Friday morning’s vote saw Jordan lose some of the support he initially had. After garnering 200 votes earlier this week, only 194 Republicans supported Jordan in the latest tally, while 210 Democrats voted for Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. Twenty-five Republicans voted for other candidates.

The Gateway Pundit published an article the night before the vote, explaining why many of the Republican holdouts are sabatoging Jordan’s bid. According to the article, at least 13 of them—led by House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La.—have been funded by the fraudulent crypto exchange FTX, which directed most of its funds towards Democrats before the 2022 midterms.

“Another initiative of [indicted FTX founder Sam] Bankman-Fried was Steve Scalise, the man currently preventing Jim Jordan from becoming speaker,” the Gateway Pundit reported.

“Bankman-Fried’s straw donor and co-CEO, Salame, donated $2,900 to Scalise a month before the 2022 Midterms.”

According to the Gateway Pundit, the FTX-funded RINOs include: Kay Granger, R-Texas, Mike Simpson, R-Ind., Carols Gimenez, R-Fla., Jen Higgins, R-Va. , Marinette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., Steve Womack, R-Ariz., Mike Kelly, R-Pa., Mike Simpson, R-Ind., Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., Linda Chavez-Deremer, R-Ore.,  Andrew Garbarino, R-N.Y., Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, and John Rutherford, R-Fla.

Ahead of the vote, Jordan showed no signs of stepping aside, insisting at a Capitol press conference: “The American people are hungry for change.”

Drawing on his Ohio roots, Jordan, who is popular with the GOP’s right-flank activist base of voters, positioned his long-shot campaign alongside the history of American innovators including the Wright brothers, urging his colleagues to elect him to the speakership.

McCarthy himself rose in the chamber to nominate Jordan, portraying him as a skilled legislator who reaches for compromise. That drew scoffs of laughter from the Democratic side of the aisle.

McCarthy said of Jordan, “He is straightforward, honest and reliable.”

For more than two weeks the stalemate has shut down the U.S. House.

With Republicans in majority control of the House, 221-212, any candidate can lose only a few detractors. It appears there is no Republican at present who can win a clear majority, 217 votes, to become speaker.

Biden Administration Insists it Can Wage 3 Wars

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) With the Biden administration’s proxy war in Ukraine in full swing and military deployment to the Middle East seemingly imminent, the Defense Department is insisting that it could start and win yet another war with China.

Pentagon officials made the case for a three-theater war earlier this week in a press conference, denouncing the “unsafe…unprofessional… corrosive and risky” encounters between Chinese and American aircraft over the past two years.

When asked how the U.S. can counter China while devoting so many resources towards Ukraine and Israel, Admiral John C. Aquilino responded by insisting that it wouldn’t be a problem.

“What I’ll tell you is I haven’t had one piece of equipment or force structure depart. The U.S. is a global power, and that means we can deliver effects and execute our deterrence responsibilities across the globe, but I don’t think any other nation can do that at this time, but the US can,” he explained.

“INDOPACOM prepares every day to ensure we execute both of the missions the Secretary gave me. Number one, to prevent conflict in the Indo-Pacific; and number two, if mission one fails, be prepared to fight and win.”

Pentagon official Ely Ratner further said that the White House has had a “banner year” in building up its military alliances in the Asia Pacific region.

“We have been developing a more mobile distributed lethal and resilient force posture in the Indo-Pacific,” he said.

As noted by the Libertarian Institute’s Kyle Anzalone, encounters between the Chinese and American militaries have increased in recent years the South China Sea and Taiwan Strait, which Beijing considers to be Chinese territory.

The Pentagon officials’ comments are similar to remarks by President Joe Biden this week.

“We’re the United States of America, for God’s sake, the most powerful nation … in the history of the world,” he said in a 60 Minutes interview.

Biden delivered a speech from the Oval Office on Thursday night,  making his case for the U.S. continuing to fund the proxy war in Ukraine and Israel’s campaign against Hamas.

The Biden administration reportedly looks to support both Ukraine and Israel—as well as Taiwain. The Washington Post first reported last week that the White House planned to link aid for the three countries in an effort to “jam the far right”—forcing MAGA Republicans to choose between fiscal responsibility and supporting ostensible allies.

Embassies Under Siege Evoke Grim Specter of 2011 Benghazi Fiasco

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The recent surge of violent pro-Palestinian protests outside U.S. embassies has sparked concerns, drawing comparisons to the haunting memories of the 2011 Benghazi attack.

As echoes of the past reverberate, the U.S. State Department has issued a chilling global warning, calling for increased vigilance for American citizens abroad.

Footage depicting the rampage outside the U.S. embassy in Lebanon sent shockwaves across social media. Hundreds of protesters set the streets ablaze, with alarming cries of “Allahu Akbar” ringing through the chaotic scenes. Particularly disturbing was the sight of the Palestinian flag flying over a U.S. embassy fence in Beirut.

In response to the escalating tension, the State Department’s Oct. 20 advisory, citing the potential for terrorist attacks and violence against U.S. citizens and interests, underscored the urgent need for caution. “Due to increased tensions in various locations around the world… the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution,” the statement said.

Notably, this warning came just days after the Biden administration urged U.S. citizens to depart Lebanon.

“On, October 17, 2023, the Department authorized the voluntary, temporary departure of family members of U.S. government personnel and some non-emergency personnel from U.S. Embassy Beirut due to the unpredictable security situation in Lebanon,” the Oct. 17 statement warned.

Further heightening the alarm, the letter explicitly warned against travel to the volatile southern region of Lebanon, where the militant group Hezbollah remained embroiled in conflict with Israel.

“Large demonstrations have erupted in the wake of recent violence in Israel and Gaza. U.S. citizens should avoid demonstrations and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings or protests as some of these have turned violent,” it said. “Protesters have blocked major roads, including thoroughfares between downtown Beirut and the area where the U.S. Embassy is located, and between Beirut and Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.”

The chilling reminder of the 2011 Benghazi attack continues to haunt the collective memory, as the nation mourns the tragic loss of four diplomats.

U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens, along with Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith and former Navy SEALs Glen “Bub” Doherty and Tyrone Woods, tragically lost their lives during the Benghazi siege.

Globalists Plan to Microchip Population, WEF Whistleblower Says

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A former member of the World Economic Forum who became a whistleblower warned people that the global elite made a plan to coerce everyone to take implantable microchips so that the population would be able to access digital currencies, Universal Basic Income and other services.

During last year’s discussion at the International Science Summit 2022, German economist and former WEF “Global Leader for Tomorrow” Richard Werner told people to be very cautious about emerging technologies, saying that the globalists purposely stopped short of showing people what a Central Bank Digital Currency [CBDC] would look like because it will involve an under-the-skin implant about the size of a grain of rice.

When an interviewer asked him if that “grain of rice” would be a person’s entire wallet, Werner confirmed that it was the case, adding that it could be even more than that.

“Yes, it’s your digital ID, your wallet. It can be your passport, your key,” he replied.

Werner also added that radio-frequency identification [RFID] technologies that are used in both debit and credit cards to allow data to be transferred via a swipe are used by the globalists to “condition” people to gradually accept “contactless” interactions as an everyday part of life.

“Now, of course, what we found with our debit cards or credit cards is they’ve already now moved to the system in RFID chips, RFID technology where you just wave the thing. Contactless. That is sort of conditioning us in this direction that in the future you’ll just wave your hand because you’ve got the microchip implant under your skin,” Werner said.

He also said that the globalists use a rational way to explain each step that leads to slavery, using the rationale that waving your card instead of swiping it is faster as an example.

“But the next rationalization would be, well, but you can lose your card, somebody can steal your card. And then you’re just waving, it’s kind of risky. Wouldn’t it be nice if you couldn’t lose it and nobody could steal it?”

The good news is that people would naturally be inclined to resist any form of a “violation of human dignity” such as injecting something under one’s skin, Werner said, adding that the globalists would fight that urge by using UBI to entice and persuade populations to receive the injections.

“Since 2015, they’ve all [billionaire elites] come out [to support] universal basic income. Well, why suddenly now? Because now we have the technology for the microchip implant,” Werner said.

Major U.S Meat Producer Partners w/ WEF, Opens Insect Plant

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) America’s largest meat producer announced that it will partner with a company that is linked to the World Economic Forum to open a major insect processing plant in the United States.

Tyson Foods Inc., the largest producer in the U.S. for all kinds of meats, bought a stake in Netherlands-based insect-protein company Protix BV, according to Slay News.

The news source added that Protix BV described itself as a company that leads “the world in the technical aspects of insect production.”

Protix BV also received a “Technology Pioneer” award from the WEF, with the CEO of the company, Kees Aarts, being listed as a member of the globalist organization.

Both Tyson Foods Inc. and Protix BV collaborated to establish a manufacturing facility in the U.S. where they would produce bug-based meat and oil that is typically used in fish feed and dog food.

However, it was revealed by Tyson CFO John Tyson that the company won’t stop doing just that, adding that “in the long run,” the company will produce products that are “good for people.”

“It’s a multibillion-dollar industry opportunity that has tremendous growth potential, and we see Protix as being a leader there,” he said.

“Insect-protein inclusion” can be beneficial to both the “planet and animals,” Tyson added.

Protix, the company that was established in 2009, already supplies insect-based protein to pet food makers Nestle SA and Mars Inc. but plans to expand operations internationally through the partnership with Tyson.

“It is definitely a huge way to establish ourselves into an international context,” Aarts said, adding that the deal with Tyson is a “tipping point we have been working for” and that the U.S. plant will be fully operational by 2025.

He also said that the new facility will be four times larger than the company’s existing facility in the Netherlands.

Biden Admin Told Embassies They Could Lower Flag after Hamas Hospital ‘Attack’

(Headline USA) The Biden administration reportedly told U.S. embassies this week that they could lower the American flag in mourning of a purported hospital blast in Gaza—an attack that U.S. intelligence and Israeli defense sources maintain was triggered by a misfired Palestinian rocket.

Amid fluxuating narratives and blatant misinformation from mainstream media, some sources online have subsequently questioned whether there was, in fact, an attack on the hospital, noting that it remained intact afterward.

Yet, even while the American government opted to stick with Israel’s version of events, it sent mixed signals by encouraging displays of virtue-signaling to mourn the apparent loss of Palestinian lives—reported to be in the hundreds.

All diplomatic and consular posts across the globe received a memo from Secretary of State Antony Blinken that they could move the flag to half-staff “to observe national periods of mourning following an official proclamation by the host government with respect to the loss of innocent lives at the Al Ahli hospital blast on Oct. 18,” according to the Times of Israel.

Diplomats should specifically consider whether not lowering the flag “would expose the US Mission to added security risk and/or isolate the US Mission vis-a-vis like-minded embassies,” Blinken wrote.

The State Department did not issue a similar memo encouraging embassies to lower their flags after Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.

“What we said in respect to the lowering of flags is that embassies could make decisions consistent with long-standing State Department policy… to decide to lower their flag when a state of mourning has been declared in that country,” a State Department spokesperson said when asked why Blinken issued the guidance.

“We of course, mourn the loss of innocent civilians who died in that explosion at the hospital just as we mourn the loss of 1,300 Israeli civilians in the deadly terrorist attacks by Hamas,” the spokesperson added.

Though Hamas blamed the hospital explosion on Israel, President Joe Biden said U.S. intelligence agencies had concluded Palestinian rockets were to blame.

“I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion of the hospital in Gaza yesterday, and based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you,” Biden said to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his trip to Israel this week.

Newsom Traveling to China to Push Climate Agenda

(Headline USA) California Gov. Gavin Newsom will travel to China next week, ostensibly as part of an effort to convince Chinese officials to care about climate change, according to his office.

The Democrat—who may be eyeing under-the-table foreign financial backing for a surprise presidential run in the event that President Joe Biden somehow falters—said he plans to discuss climate cooperation and promote his state’s economic relationship with China.

He will visit Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and the provinces of Jiangsu and Guandong.

“California and China hold the keys to solving the climate crisis,” Newsom said in a statement. “As two of the world’s largest economies, our partnership is essential to delivering climate action for our communities and beyond.”

While he’s in Guangdong, Newsom is expected to sign a new memorandum of understanding on climate issues with Chinese officials and meet with regional leaders to discuss the shift to electric vehicles.

This would be Newsom’s second international trip in his official capacity as governor.

The California governor is one of several Democrats who have tried to force China to bend to their climate change agenda only to be rebuffed.

Earlier this summer, the Biden administration’s climate envoy John Kerry traveled to China to restart negotiations over cutting carbon emissions but was unable to reach an agreement with Chinese officials.

Following Kerry’s visit, China’s Xi Jinping said his commitments to the climate were “unswerving,” but reiterated that China would not respond to pressure from the U.S. or any other country to change its priorities.

“[T]he path, method, pace and intensity to achieve this goal should and must be determined by ourselves, and will never be influenced by others,” he said.

Kerry insisted Xi’s statement was not a rebuke of his efforts.

“We’re not involved in dictating anything to anybody,” he claimed.

“We’re involved in following the science,” he continued. “And if anything, the science dictates the parameters that we all need to live by.”
