Pelosi Issued ‘Third-Party Subpoena’ in Criminal Investigation

(Headline USA) Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., revealed this week that she was issued “third-party subpoenas,” presumably in connection with a criminal investigation into the alleged domestic assault on her husband, Paul, a year ago at their San Francisco home.

The former Democrat leader was required to notify the House of the subpoenas.

After consulting with the Office of General Counsel, the former speaker concluded that she was no longer important enough to warrant exemption the legal process.

“I have determined that compliance with the subpoenas is consistent with the privileges of the House to the extent it requires the production of non-privileged information,” she said during a statement on the House floor.

Neither Pelosi’s office nor the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of California would say which criminal case Pelosi was involved in. However, sources told the New York Post that the subpoenas are likely connected to the criminal case against David DePape, the man charged with attacking Paul Pelosi last year.

DePape—a homeless, mentally unstable, illegal immigrant from Canada who was connected with a cult of pedophile nudists—is believed to have vocally supported left-wing causes such as Black Lives Matter, marijuana decriminalization and LGBT movement.

He allegedly went to the Pacific Heights home looking for Nancy Pelosi, who was not there at the time, before attacking her husband with a hammer after the underwear-clad Paul Pelosi let him into the house.

The Federal Public Defender of the Northern District of California wrote in a Monday filing that DePape had cited Nancy Pelosi’s “lies” to the American public and called her “the leader of the pack.”

He has been charged with two counts of attempted kidnapping of a federal officer or employee and assault on the immediate family member of a federal official. If convicted, he could spend up to 50 years in prison.

Both Paul and Nancy Pelosi are expected to appear as witnesses when the case goes to trial this month.

Lawyers for DePape want his federal trial to be moved out of San Francisco, arguing the Pelosi’s immense influence in the area means he won’t get a fair trial. The judge appointed to preside over the case, for example, reportedly has close ties to the Pelosi’s daughter.

Judge Loretta “Lori” Giorgi said in a disclosure earlier this year that she and Christine Pelosi worked together in the San Francisco city attorney’s office in the 1990s, but claimed she has not interacted with the Pelosis in years.

There is a remote possibility that Pelosi’s subpoena might relate to another case involving her husband. In May 2022, Paul Pelosi was arrested for drunken driving after crashing into another vehicle while returning from the couple’s Napa Valley winery.

However, little public information has been released suggesting that there is a criminal case pending in that incident, and Nancy Pelosi’s eagerness to cooperate with the subpoenas further supports the belief that it relates to the DePape investigation, the public narrative of which has been much more favorable to her public image.

NY Times Asks When Iran Will ‘Live Up to Its Fiery Rhetoric’ and ‘Destroy Israel’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The New York Times showed its true colors when it published an article that focused on whether Iran will “live up to its fiery rhetoric” and follow through with its vow to “destroy Israel,” which resulted in the publication facing an intense backlash from people.

In its anti-Israel article titled “After Years of Vowing to Destroy Israel, Iran Faces a Dilemma,” the Times suggested that Iran was at a crossroads.

“With Israel bent on crushing Iran’s ally Hamas, Tehran must decide whether it and the proxy militias it arms and trains will live up to its fiery rhetoric,” the Times wrote on Wednesday.

The publication also said that despite “more than four decades” of deadly threats from Iranian Jew-hating rulers towards Israel, they are “publicly signaling they do not want a full-scale war” as Israel implements its response to the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks in Gaza.

In addition to that, the report added that the “fiery leaders” of Iran may lose credibility among constituents and allies if they stay inactive.

People on Twitter criticized the article as soon as it was published, accusing the paper of attempting to goad Iran into annihilating Israel.

“What in the name of all that’s holy is this?? What’s the dilemma here exactly? Will its terrorist proxies ‘live up to’ their ‘fiery rhetoric’ by killing many, many more Jews? Like they said they would? WTF?” National Review senior writer Noah Rothman wrote.

Versus Media podcast host Stephen L. Miller also responded to the anti-Semitic article.

“In case people haven’t noticed, whatever little professional guardrails remained at The NY Times are gone. That was the whole point behind firing editors of the Cotton op Ed and the slack struggle sessions,” he wrote.

Conservative commentator David Burge criticized the paper, too.

“NYT: poor beleaguered Iran faces their own heartbreaking Sophie’s Choice,” he wrote.

However, instead of removing the article from its website, issuing an apology and firing everyone responsible for the publication of the piece, the Times doubled down by defending the article.

“The Times stands behind this piece as well as the vast depth of reporting we have done on the Israel-Hamas war and its regional implications,” a spokesperson for the Times told Fox News.

Pro-Hamas Students Walk Out of Hillary Clinton’s Columbia Class to Protest Doxxing Truck

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Pro-Hamas student–activists turned, yet again, on one of their own by walking out of Democrat mainstay Hillary Clinton’s class at Columbia University to protest the school’s insufficient show of solidarity with their cause, BizPac Review reported.

Clinton, who joined the Ivy League school’s faculty in January, was a co-speaker at the lecture, joined by Keren Yarh-i-Milo, the dean of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.

The two were discussing the role of women in creating world peace.

Approximately halfway through the lecture, 30 of the 300 students in the hall stood up, packed their materials and left the room.

After departing, they joined other protesters outside, who then waited for Clinton to depart. But the ever-evasive Clinton slid out through a side door, leaving the protesters in disappointment.

The students were reportedly protesting Clinton’s pro-Israel stance, as well as the shaming of pro-Hamas students via the use of a so-called “doxxing truck,” which exposed their identities.

The truck, funded by the conservative group Accuracy In Media, reportedly left some students “heartbroken” and “infuriated,” even causing some to “cry with anger” at the thought of facing real-world consequences for their unwavering support of the terrorist organization behind the Oct. 7 massacre of at least 1,300 innocent Israeli citizens.

“The weight of responsibility for the war and casualties undeniably lies with the Israeli extremist government and other Western governments, including the U.S. government, which fund and staunchly support Israeli aggression, apartheid, and settler-colonization,” the students wrote in a statement in the aftermath of the attacks.

Students leaving Clinton’s classroom marked the third time in the past week that the failed 2016 presidential candidate found herself being put uncomfortably on the spot.

Speaking at an Institute for Global Politics panel, Clinton was berated by a man who condemned President Joe Biden and his administration, along with prior administrations, for spending billions on foreign aid and for stoking the flames of “World War 3.”

Clinton was also interrupted during a rally speech for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, R-Texas, who is currently running for mayor of Houston.

“Hey Hillary! Why’d your husband visit Epstein Island 26 times?” a man shouted from the crowd before being dragged out of the room.

‘Friends’ Star Matthew Perry’s Mysterious Death Appears to Be Vax-Related after Autopsy

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) After the release of actor Matthew Perry’s autopsy ruled out drug overdose from meth or fentanyl, speculation continued to mount that the 54-year-old Friends star was yet another casualty of the #DiedSuddenly disease that has prematurely claimed untold numbers of young, healthy individuals since the arrival three years ago of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.

Perry was found dead in his hot tub over the weekend after reportedly spending the afternoon playing pickleball—a semi-strenuous, racket-based sport similar to tennis and badminton.

His death was, presumably, the result of a “cardiac episode,” similar to the myocarditis and cardiomyopathy diagnoses present in many of the cases involving adverse vaccine reactions, the Connecticut Centinal reported.

No media reports gave the exact number of Perry’s COVID vaccinations.

However, in May 2021, not long after the vaccines went public, the sitcom star drew harsh criticism, according to Fox News, for launching a line of T-shirts that used a catchphrase from his Friends character, Chandler Bing, to push the experimental jabs, all while turning a healthy profit for himself.

The now ironically-tinged apparel remains available at ViralStyle.com for $21.99 per shirt, a perfect sympathy gift for the vaccine-injury denier in your life.

A recent study from Germany confirmed that the “cardiotoxic” effects and abnormalities present in many recent cases involving young and otherwise healthy individuals were, indeed, linked to those who had taken the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

The shots are designed to alter the genetic sequence and short-circuit cells to begin the rapid production of dangerous spike proteins.

Although the proteins have been useful to staving off the novel coronavirus and its variants, some vaccinated patients continue to produce them indefinitely, and the spike proteins then proceed to accumulate in vital organs such as the brain, causing damage that has yet to be fully assessed and understood by long-range studies.

Leftist media outlets routinely pushed health disinformation and fraudulent, propagandist narratives during the pandemic to benefit the government-backed pharmaceutical companies. Although science has since discredited many of the spurious claims made during the height of the mass formation psychosis, some remain shamelessly unchastened.

Following the shocking news of Perry’s death, far-left outlets rushed, as if in unison, to dismiss the possibility that the actor had suffered a vaccine injury, despite having no evidence to substantiate their reports.

“The wildly arbitrary claims about the heat of a hot tub or Wi-Fi activating the vaccine to kill him is complete nonsense devoid of any biological plausibility,” said Amesh Adajla, an  adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in response to an emailed query from USA Today.

So-called fact-checkers like the Poynter Institute offered up Perry’s history of drug addiction as the more plausible alternative.

Yet, “[i]f information emerges to corroborate what is now a baseless claim, we’ll reconsider our ruling,” they hedged, knowing they would promptly memory-hole the entire episode if they were disproven, without ever fully owning their failure to perform their basic journalistic function of information-gathering in pursuit of the truth.

“For now we rate it False,” they added.

Full testing for all kinds of drugs that may have been in Perry’s system will take 4-6 months to yield results. But the idea of a drug relapse simply doesn’t track with the healthy lifestyle that Perry, a former addict, had worked hard to undertake.

Several other prominent celebrities and athletes have experienced similar symptoms, suddenly dropping dead after intense cardiovascular exercise.

Damar Hamlin, safety for the Buffalo Bills, suffered cardiac arrest after completing a tackle in early January. He was resuscitated twice on the field and put on a ventilator for several days.

Hamlin recently returned to the football field after a lengthy hiatus.

The situation has become so common that it has led the #DiedSuddenly hashtag to frequently trend on Twitter, with viral videos depicting the devastating moments that specimens in otherwise peak physical condition have seen their careers—and sometimes lives—cut short.

Nonetheless, in one of the most unhinged hot-takes of all, Wired magazine lashed out at those who floated the possibility that Perry’s death was vaccine related because it would have been against his wishes.

The San Francisco publication name-checked several social-media personalities on the Right, even doxxing the highly influential meme-maker and humorist known as “Catturd.”

“Perry’s last years were spent trying to share the truth about his personal health challenges in order to prevent others from enduring the same pain” seethed the leftist screed. “So it is particularly nasty that a movement dedicated to obscuring the truth in favor of fearmongering and innuendo is now leeching onto his death.”

Facebook, Instagram Limit Posts on the Israel-Palestine War

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Meta announced that it will limit certain features on Facebook and Instagram to “protect” users amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Iranian-backed Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

Among the “temporary” changes were the limitation of comments on new posts from users in the affected region to friends and close followers, and making it easier to delete comments en masse, the Post Millennial reported.

“After the terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel last week, and Israel’s response in Gaza, our teams introduced a series of measures to address the spike in harmful and potentially harmful content spreading on our platforms. Our policies are designed to keep people safe on our apps while giving everyone a voice,” Meta said in its Oct. 18, 2023, news release.

While the policies are applied equally all over the globe, content that contains “praise for Hamas” or “violent and graphic content” will not be tolerated, the Big Tech giant added.

The new policies that were adopted “as a temporary measure to protect people in the region from potentially unwelcome or unwanted comments” were also highlighted in the news release.

The new rules changed the default setting for who can comment on new posts for accounts in the conflict region to “Friends and/or established followers only,” and the feature that displays one or two comments below a post in the news feed has also been disabled, the news source wrote. After Meta made the changes, users were able to more easily “bulk delete comments.”

In addition to that, a “Lock Your Profile” tool was released to allow users to prevent others from viewing their photos and information with the click of a button.

Meta also said in its Oct. 13, 2023, news release that it was taking “stronger steps to avoid recommending potentially violating and borderline violating content,” including blocking certain hashtags.

House Greenlights War with Iran

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The House of Representatives passed a resolution Wednesday that critics warn would authorize war against Iran to prevent the country from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The resolution, passed in a vote of 354-53, authorizes the Biden administration to “use all means necessary to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”

The resolution pointed out that Iran continues to enrich uranium to 60% purity. Uranium needs to be enriched at 90% for nuclear weapons, as noted by antiwar.com’s Dave DeCamp.

Three Republicans opposed the bill: Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., Dan Bishop, R-NC, and Warren Davidson, R-Ohio.

Massie explained his reasons for voting against the resolution on social media. He warned that the U.S. could be repeating the same mistakes that led to the Vietnam and Iraq quagmires.

“We should remember the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution which midwifed the disastrous Vietnam War,” Massie said.

“Yesterday’s Congressional Iran Resolution is eerily reminiscent of that resolution as well as the claims of WMDs that were used justify the second Gulf War.”

Rep. Bishop agreed with Massie, noting that the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution’s language was “arguably softer.”

The Gulf of Tonkin resolution authorized the President to take “all necessary measures to repel any armed attack against the forces of the United States.”

Along with the Gulf of Tonkin resolution, other congressional military authorizations have wound up being exploited by the executive branch to wage endless war.

For example, the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force—passed in response to the 9/11 terror attacks—has been used to  justify military action in at least 22 countries, according to a study from Brown University.

The report said the 2001 AUMF was used to justify counterterrorism operations or airstrikes in eight countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Djibouti. In addition, the authorization has been cited in numerous counterterrorism “support” activities in 13 countries, including Chad, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Turkey.

The 2001 AUMF also is used to justify operations at the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the report stated.

Dem. Dark-Money Group Pushes ‘Phantom Candidates’ to Split GOP Vote in N.J.

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) With elections in New Jersey coming next week, Republican candidates have filed a lawsuit to stop “dark money”-backed “phantom candidates” from splitting up the Republican vote in the state, the Washington Examiner reported on Wednesday.

Republicans in the Garden State argued that an unknown group called “Jersey Freedom” is attempting to run fake Republican candidates against real Republicans to secure Democrat victories.

Jason Sena, an attorney for the Republican State Committee, slammed the strategy in a Tuesday press conference.

“What’s happening in South Jersey with regard to this entity that calls itself Jersey Freedom is a complete embarrassment to the state and is illegal,” he said.

“We want a full investigation by all law enforcement and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over this entity.”

Specifically, Jersey Freedom has targeted voters in the 4th Congressional District—which covers Monroe, Pitman and Washington Township—with mailers and TV ads urging Republicans to vote for a heretofore unknown candidate, Giuseppe Costanzo, for state Senate against Republican-backed candidate, Christopher Del Borrello.

Constanzo has reportedly not engaged in any active campaigning, and did not respond to media queries.

The group also backed Assembly candidate Maureen Dukes-Penrose, who claims to have been told to run by outgoing Democratic state Sen. Fred Madden.

Madden, however, told the press that he had “never heard of this woman” and has “no idea what she’s talking about.”

Libertarian Senate candidate Shawn Peck, a former Libertarian Party Senate candidate in the state’s 2nd District, was also backed by Jersey Freedom before he dropped out, realizing that the group only backed him “to tighten margins in the race.”

Republicans in office made note of the potential election fraud.

Republican state Senate Minority Leader Anthony Bucco told the New Jersey Globe that Republicans believe that Jersey Freedom has ties to Democrat groups in the state.

“When you place them all together, they’re very disturbing, and in fact, we believe are illegal,”  he noted.

“The petitions were circulated by folks who had ties to South Jersey Democrats. One of the candidates has admitted to being encouraged to run. There’s use by similar vendors with other attacks, and it just stinks.”

In the face of such suggestions, Atlantic County Democrats denied any connection to Jersey Freedom.

Biden’s Poll Numbers Look Worse than 2016 Hillary as Policies Prove Failures

(Kevin Whiteley, Headline USA) President Joe Biden has broken many dubious records over the first three years of his presidency: oldest president ever elected, most vacation days of any president in recent memory, highest rate of inflation in 40 years, most illegal immigrants ever admitted into the country.

Over the weekend, he crossed another threshold, as his net approval rating sank to a level trailing his likely GOP competitor in the 2024 matchup, former President Donald Trump, and even lower than that of failed Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, whose grating persona cost her dearly in swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona, the Washington Examiner reported.

All five of those states, which Trump claimed in 2016, went to Biden in the 2020 race—albeit under circumstances that may be up for debate or adjudication.

Yet, the incumbent president now finds himself fully underwater in four of them and tied in Michigan when pollsters present a hypothetical Trump–Biden rematch, according to the RealClearPolitics average.

Meanwhile, Biden and his family have a growing list of issues that are continuing to surface, not the least of which appears to be the walls closing in on an investigation into his foreign business deals led by House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.

Comer has been steadily collecting evidence to build the airtight case that Biden directly benefited financially from those business deals brokered by his son Hunter, brother James and other family members.

According to Comer’s evidence, Biden in return, allowed those private business interests to influence U.S. foreign policy during the Obama administration—and possibly continuing in current events like the costly U.S. support for Ukraine’s territorial dispute with Russia and America’s weak diplomatic stance against a litany of Chinese abuses.

Such bribery is listed as an impeachable offense in the U.S. Constitution.

Criminal conduct aside, Biden’s actual policies—and those promoted by the extreme Leftist movement to which he has capitulated—have been nearly as bad as having our geopolitical adversaries calling the shots from within the Oval Office.

One of Biden’s most glaring obstacles to re-election may be the rising crime epidemic—a byproduct of the post-George-Floyd campaign to “defund the police.”

After failing to heed the warnings about the long-term, unintended consequences, blue-run cities such as Chicago, New York City and D.C. (to name a few) have become havens for homicide, carjacking, and smash-and-grab larceny that has led many storefronts to flee their downtown areas.

Chicago’s pro-criminal SAFE-T Act, for instance, has done anything but keep the city safe.

Its population saw a decrease between 2020 and 2022—roughly 81,000 people (according to U.S. Census data in a Chicago Tribune report).

However, the “defund” effort proved to be a failure, and Dems themselves ultimately pivoted to fund law enforcement.

There’s also the Harm-Reduction Act, which has been conducive to over 100,000 Americans falling victim to drug overdoses.

These deaths happened within only a year—2021-2022 (according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention).

Yet, “harm reduction emphasizes engaging directly with people who use drugs to prevent overdose…,” claimed the website of the government-funded Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration.

“Harm reduction is an important part of the Biden–Harris Administration’s comprehensive approach to addressing substance use disorders through prevention, treatment, and recovery—and empowering people to reach their own goals, through incremental change,” added the website.

Tack the ongoing, border crisis onto Joe Biden’s list of failures. The U.S. has seen over 10 million illegals crossing onto American soil under Biden’s presidency. It’s so out of control that even sanctuary cities such as New York City and Chicago are now encouraging illegals to leave.

Outside of the nation’s borders, of course, things are equally dangerous.

The BRICS+ nations are possibly the biggest issue Americans could face, as “the Biden administration has devalued the dollar by an astonishing 16% and also weaponized the dollar abroad,” Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget Research Fellow E.J. Antoni told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “The US is absolutely in danger of losing global reserve currency status,” Antoni added.

Luddite FBI Director Had to Be Shown How to Use Podcasts on Phone

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) As the FBI director, Chris Wray oversees a multibillion-dollar operation that deals with artificial intelligence, encryption, cryptocurrencies and other advanced technology.

But Wray didn’t even know how to listen to podcasts on his phone until recently.

That embarrassing fact was revealed on FBI Retired Case File Review, a show that typically dives into old bureau cases. For its 300th episode, the show’s host, retired agent Jerri Williams, interviewed Wray.

“It’s great to be here Jerri. I think the last time I saw you, you were getting an award at the G-Man Honors dinner,” Wray said at the beginning of the show.

Williams responded: “Actually, when we were sitting next to each other at dinner, I showed you how to pull up podcasts on your phone. And I know you’re a really busy person, but have you had the chance to listen to podcasts yet?”

Wray said he now listens to podcasts.

Most of the rest of the show was public relations for Wray, with him downplaying concerns about a weaponized justice system and claiming that morale at the FBI remains high.

“Our people are tough and resilient. And if you talk to our folks as I do when I’m out visiting field offices … What we hear over and over again is that we’re doing better than ever,” he said. “And that’s why our recruiting is up so significantly, and people want to work for the FBI in droves.”

Williams did ask Wray about the recent whistleblowers who have alleged corruption or malfeasance within the bureau.

Those whistleblowers include Kyle Seraphin, who has suggested that the bureau is suppressing information about the Jan. 6 pipe bomb investigation; Stephen Friend, who has alleged that the FBI reassigned agents from child pornography cases to go after Jan. 6 protestors; and Jonathan Buma, who alleged that the bureau prevented him from investigating ties between Rudy Giuliani and organized crime.

However, Wray just gave a boilerplate response, and Williams didn’t press him further.

“I recognize the important role that whistleblowers play, and I take very seriously our responsibility under the relevant rules and other protections for whistleblowers, which are something we train all of our folks on,” he said.

“Despite what some have claimed, the FBI has not and is not going to retaliate against individuals who make protected whistleblower disclosures.”

Have U.S. Special Forces Died in Gaza?

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Last week, Col. Douglas MacGregor made a shocking claim that U.S. Special Forces were “shot to pieces and took heavy losses” while assisting Israel on a hostage-rescue mission in Gaza.

Critics were quick to dismiss MacGregor as a purveyor of disinformation. A “community note” on Twitter stated that there is no evidence of his allegation.

However, the Pentagon’s top special operations policy official admitted Wednesday that U.S. Special Forces are indeed in Israel, assisting on rescuing hostages.

“We’re actively helping the Israelis to do a number of things,” Christopher Maier, an assistant secretary of defense, reportedly said at a special operations conference in Washington. According to the New York Times, he said a main task was to help Israel “identify hostages, including American hostages. It’s really our responsibility to do so.”

Maier reportedly said the commandos are only in Israel in an advisory capacity, and aren’t assigned to any combat roles.

“Maier declined to say how many U.S. Special Operations forces were currently in Israel,” NYT reported.

“But other U.S. officials say the Defense Department has dispatched several dozen commandos in recent weeks, in addition to a small team that was in Israel on Oct. 7 conducting previously scheduled training.”

MacGregor’s allegation and the NYT report follows the White House idiotically posting on Instagram an uncensored photo of President Joe Biden meeting with the elite Delta Force—possibly doxing and endangering their lives.

“In Israel, President Biden met with first responders to thank them for their bravery and the work they’re doing in response to the Hamas terrorist attacks,” said the now-removed post.

Pentagon practice is to keep the identities of its elite units confidential, whether they are in the training stages or in combat.

Meanwhile, Biden is reportedly holding “secret” talks with Israeli officials about stationing U.S. troops in Gaza after Israel completes its ground invasion, according to Bloomberg.

The U.S. has reportedly told Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it needs a plan for how to govern the Gaza Strip after Hamas is driven out of the region. Israel has said it does not want to occupy the region unilaterally, and has proposed a multinational force, which would include U.S. troops.
