Former Playboy White House Reporter: ‘MAGA Republicans and Christians Are Bigger Threat Than Hamas’

(Headline USA) Playboy’s former senior White House correspondent Brian Karem argued this week that supporters of former President Donald Trump and Christians are a “bigger threat” than Hamas.

Karem, who was famous for clashing with Trump during White House press briefings, responded to news of Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., being elected House speaker in an op-ed for Salon, titled, “MAGA and Christian nationalism: Bigger threat to America than Hamas could ever be.”

In it, Karem complained that Johnson, who is a devout Christian, is a “discount version of the apocalyptic orgasm the holy rollers have dreamed of for years.”

The Louisiana Republican and the rest of the “MAGA wing of the Republican Party” have embraced “the darkest verses of the Bible,” Karem continued, and “are determined to convert the U.S. into a theocracy.”

“The framers taught us that the biggest threat to religious freedom comes from theocrats who try to establish their own sect over everyone else. That’s why we have two religion clauses in the First Amendment,” he claimed.

Republicans also “despise free thought and independence, and are happy to play games with a government shutdown — the modern equivalent of fiddling while it all burns,” Karem added, referring to the looming government shutdown.

Karem went on to claim that “most people” live in fear — not because of Hamas’s threats of terror or rising antisemitism across the country, but because of “Christian theocracy, climate change, Donald Trump, our own government, or something else unforeseen.”

This is not the first time Karem has vilified conservative Christians. In July, he claimed to have met with an evangelical woman who demands that her Republican peers “name one thing” Trump did “that Jesus would approve of.”

“Nobody has ever named one thing,” she said, according to Karem.

Karem was roundly roasted for his absurd take, but some conservative pundits warned that many leftists take his message to heart.

“The reason for saying, ‘These people are worse than terrorists,’ is to justify treating them the way you treat terrorists,” said The Blaze contributor Auron MacIntyre.

Not Bobby, Too! RFK Jr. Changes Story on Jeffrey Epstein Interactions

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Much to the chagrin of those who were hoping for a viable third-party candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been in the news this week over his links to multimillionaire accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Newsweek published a story on Wednesday, featuring comments from Kennedy about his dealings with the presumably deceased sex trafficker.

A Kennedy spokesperson reportedly told Newsweek that he had “flown one time on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane. It was in 1993 from [New York City] to Palm Beach [Florida] to visit RFK Jr.’s mom for Easter.”

The spokesperson reportedly added that the private jet trip was facilitated through Kennedy’s then-wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who was apparently friendly with Epstein’s partner, Ghislaine Maxwell. Richardson Kennedy passed away in 2012, and RFK Jr. has been married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines since 2014.

“Mary, Kennedy’s wife, and two of their kids were on the flight,” the representative told Newsweek. “Mary knew Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who learned that they were going to Palm Beach for Easter and offered their family a ride.”

However, what the spokesperson told Newsweek contradicts what Kennedy has reportedly told investigative journalist Whitney Webb for her Epstein magnum opus, One Nation Under Blackmail.

In that book, Webb quoted Kennedy saying he flew on Epstein’s jet twice—not once, as Newsweek reported.

“In one instance, the flight was part of a pre-planned fossil hunting trip to South Dakota, which he believed had been Ghislaine’s idea as Epstein had appeared to only have attended ‘grudgingly,’” Webb wrote.

“On that trip, Kennedy remembered that Epstein ‘did not mingle with us and hardly spoke and did not participate in the fossil hunt.”

According to Webb’s book, Epstein had a problem with Kennedy’s “rambunctious children.” Epstein purportedly ordered the flight to land in Chicago and deplaned so he could make his own way home.

A blonde was waiting for Epstein at planeside in Chicago, and Kennedy remembered that Maxwell was in “silent tears” after Epstein’s abrupt departure.

The other trip described in Webb’s book seems to be the same one reported by Newsweek.

Remarking on Kennedy changing his tune, Webb said: “I am very concerned that he told me in an interview for my book he was on the plane twice, but now is saying it was once.”

‘Sanctuary Cities’ Beg Biden to Cover the Massive Cost of their Expenditures on Illegals

() The mayors of New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Denver—all either known as or explicitly declaring themselves as “sanctuary cities” that minimize cooperation with federal immigration officials—issued a letter requesting to meet with President Joe Biden to ask for $5 billion to fund “overwhelming” migrant inflows.

Biden has already requested $1.4 billion in emergency supplemental funding, but without additional funding the cities will need to “cut essential city services,” the mayors whined.

“To address this crisis without further delay, we are requesting an urgent meeting with you to directly discuss ways we can work with your administration to avoid large numbers of additional asylum seekers being brought to our cities with little to no coordination, support, or resources,” they wrote in their letter.

In fairness, some of them—most notably New York Mayor Eric Adams—have come to repudiate the city’s former sanctuary status, which was a major political talking point as they sought to use civil disobedience to flout the Trump administration and prevent the Republican leader from succeeding in one of his signature agenda items.

Upon assuming office, one of Biden’s first acts was to roll back any of Trump’s standing executive orders related to border security and open the floodgates for the gathering hordes. The 10 million illegals who have entered the country on his watch exceed the populations of all but the nine largest states.

According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, more than 600,000 individuals entered the United States in fiscal year 2023 without being intercepted by U.S. Border Patrol. He said another 900,000 were intercepted or turned themselves in, seeking eligibility to enter under humanitarian parole and pursue asylum applications.

Mayorkas’s estimate was substantially lower than data first reported by the Center Square of nearly 770,000 gotaways along the southwest border alone in fiscal 2023. The total estimate is expected to be closer to a million. There were at least 4 million illegal border crossers in fiscal 2023, the highest in U.S. history.

The “sanctuary city” signatories noted that Denver was spending $2 million per week on migrant shelter, New York City has spent $1.7 billion, and Chicago has spent over $320 million.

New York City, which has faced the brunt of the arrivals, may soon be facing reductions in state funding that offset 30% of migrant-related costs as Gov. Kathy Hochul seeks to close a $4.3 billion budget shortfall.

Chicago faces a budget gap of $538 million, almost half of which is from migrant spending. Despite its shortfall, it recently settled on a plan to offer illegals $9,000 in payouts to assist with their resettlement needs, which undoubtedly will drive up the rent costs for the city’s other residents who are struggling to make ends meet.

Despite the fact that its streets are lined with homeless individuals lured by it lenient drug laws, Denver recently reduced guaranteed shelter for migrants to 37 days for families and 14 days for individuals due to further resource strain.

Los Angeles, meanwhile, has not faced a similar level of influx because, as the New York Times reports, the city “no longer attracts as many immigrants as it once did” due to the cost of living and other quality-of-life and opportunity challenges.

Dem. Candidate in Va. Posts ‘Pee Tape’ to TikTok a Week Before Election

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) With a week to go before the high-stakes election that will likely determine whether Virginia goes red or blue in the 2024 presidential election, a desperate Democrat candidate for the state legislature posted a TikTok video of herself peeing in the snow.

“Yeah, I’m peeing,” whispers Jessica Anderson to the camera while the sound of flowing urine can be heard in the background.

“Avoid the yellow snow,” she continues, while staring into the camera.

Anderson, who is challenging GOP incumbent Del. Amanda Batten for the District 71 seat, finds herself trailing badly in the final stretch, with Batten, having raised nearly twice as much money as her.

Although the video she posted to her personal account, @crazymotherrunner, while having a squat in the woods may have helped put Anderson on the public radar, it was not the attention she was hoping for.

Anderson has since made her TikTok private. However, the Virginia Project, a state Republican political-action committee, tweeted the video on Halloween morning and had collected at least 80,000 views as of Friday afternoon, with the well-trafficked news aggregator Citizen Free Press also promoting the shocking “pee tape” to its mostly conservative audience.

The public urination may not be entirely off-brand for Anderson, whose campaign website explains she is heavily involved with Williamsburg’s local running community and, in 2022, participated in a 50-mile marathon in western Maryland. Although 14 aid stations interspersed throughout the dirt-and-gravel course offered drinks, snacks and medical supplies, the race website made no mention of restroom facilities.

Excusable or not, the salacious-sounding storyline was likely to draw unfavorable comparisons with Susanna Gibson, another Democrat running for the Virginia House of Delegates, who drew national headlines in September after she was exposed for posting pornographic videos of herself on Chaturbate.

In one such video, Gibson asked viewers to give her money in order to perform certain sex acts with her husband, John David Gibson. It is unclear whether the funds went toward her campaign expenditures.

Gibson, who rejected calls from within her own party to step aside, now finds herself down more than 10 percentage points in the otherwise competitive District 57, according to a New York Post report.

Prior to the sex scandal, she was down by a mere four points to her Republican opponent, David Owen.

“It’s no surprise that Ms. Gibson’s polling poorly,” said Aaron Evans, a spokesman for Owen’s campaign, noting that while Gibson films porn videos, Owen focuses on solving problems.

“David Owen is remaining focused on his common-sense agenda of renewing the economy, lowering crime, and improving our schools for the future of Virginia families.”

As often is the case, the outcome of Virginia’s off-year state election, coming a year before the presidential election, is being watched closely as one of the leading bellwethers of the national mood. This time around, however, it could also have more direct political implications.

Democrats control the state Senate by a four-vote margin, and Republicans control the House of Delegates by the same margin, with four seats currently vacant.

The parties are waging intense legislative battles as GOP Gov. Glenn Youngkin—who won a stunning political upset two years ago—looks to bolster his conservative agenda with full control of state government.

If Youngkin’s party prevails, it could swing the Old Dominion back into the red column—thereby changing the political calculus on Electoral College maps next year—after years of Democrat control under former Clinton surrogate Terry McAuliffe nearly flipped it permanently blue.

A sweeping victory also also would raise Youngkin’s own political stock considerably—either as a potential challenger or backup to former President Donald Trump should the Left succeed in its unrelenting efforts to neutralize the GOP frontrunner—or as an early favorite for the 2028 race if he so chooses to wait it out, given the brand damage that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has done by taking on Trump head-to-head.

Meanwhile, in order to avert such a political catatrophe for their party, Democrats have funneled tremendous resources into the state election and recently dispatched former President Barack Obama to rally voters with a prerecorded robocall.

“The people we elect in the State Senate and House of Delegates will make decisions that affect your everyday life,” says the Obama-bot.

Report: Prompted by AOC, House Dems Stealthily Voted to Give Themselves a $34,000 Pay Raise

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Before Republicans took control of the House this year, Democrats quietly voted to give themselves a $34,000 pay raise, according to a Thursday report in the Washington Free Beacon.

The Free Beacon reported that Democrats inserted the pay raise into internal House rules, granting congressional lawmakers an optional $34,000 annual subsidy to pay for their Washington DC housing and meal expenses.

The housing subsidy was reportedly passed in response to complaints from lawmakers such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who say that skyrocketing rents make living on a $174,000 salary untenable.

According to the Free Beacon, 113 Democrats and 104 Republicans have taken advantage of the program for a combined $1.4 million.

Partakers of the program include Ocasio-Cortez and other members of the “squad.” AOC has received $8,700, while Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has billed taxpayers over $14,000 and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.. has received $6,800.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., who was fined $1,000 last week for intentionally pulling a fire alarm during a House session in September, has received $6,200, according to the Free Beacon.

However, the person who’s received the most money from the new program is reportedly a fiscal conservative. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., reportedly billed taxpayers nearly $17,000 from January through May.

“I’ve complied with the law, and my cooking is often with discount [buy one, get one] products. I try to do the best in the kitchen from the BOGO life,” Gaetz told the Free Beacon. “During my time in Congress, I’ve returned over $860,000 to taxpayers from the Members’ Representational Allowance.”

In a January New York Times article about the program, critics blasted Congress for sneaking in the pay raise, which allowed them to avoid public backlash.

“You can have a good public policy debate on whether congressmen should be paid more in order to attract a better bunch, and you could have a reasonable debate on inflation adjustments, but it really ought to be done in public,” former congressman Mo Brooks told the Times. “That’s my biggest beef, that it was a clandestine secret.”

New Big Pharma Policy Allows Children to Transition in Secret

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Parents were recently notified by a major home-delivery pharmacy service that as of this week, they “will not be able to view, access or manage your child’s prescriptions after they turn 12 years old.”

Why?

“To allow minors to receive prescription medication for sensitive issues, without worrying about how their parents may react,” said the notification from CarolinaCARE, which is based in North Carolina but serves multiple states.

Though it doesn’t specifically mention it, the CarolinaCARE notification clearly paves the way for children between the ages of 12-17 to take puberty blockers and other such medications for the purpose of transitioning genders without their parents’ knowledge.

Headline USA understands that Atrium Health, which owns CarolinaCARE, also recently blocked parents from accessing their children’s medical records—a policy that mirrors that in California.

Even more radical, a new law in Washington allows children to show up at youth or homeless shelters to receive “gender-affirming care,” which includes the mutilation of body parts and prescription of life-altering medication.

Two non-profit groups sued Washington over that law in August.

“This statute allows shelters and homes to keep children at locations without their parents’ knowledge and refer those children for health interventions without their parents’ knowledge or approval,” said the lawsuit.

“It does not require children to be returned on any particular timetable or under any particular conditions.”

In a recent article for the Daily Wire, conservative commentator Candace Owens noted that the national push to block parental oversight of their child’s healthcare comes at a time when trust in the medical system is at a record low.

“Not everyone trusts their doctors quite like they did before. COVID led to the collapse of the medical mirage, so people have questions. And people want answers. We are prodding the narrative: What exactly are its intentions with our children? What is going on with the number of vaccines? What is going on with pharmaceutical care?” Owens said.

“Big Pharma is answering by passing legislation as to whether you should—or should not—have access to your children’s medical records, decisions, and medicines.”

Sam Bankman-Fried Guilty of $10B Fraud, Faces Up to 110 Years

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A federal jury in Manhattan has found Sam Bankman-Fried guilty of swindling $10 billion from individuals through his crypto exchange and deceiving lenders and investors, bringing an end to the highly publicized trial.

As reported by the New York Post, the controversial tech tycoon was convicted on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy, stemming from an illicit scheme that involved misappropriating funds from users of the infamous FTX exchange to settle debts owed by Alameda Research. Additionally, Bankman-Fried was found to have used misappropriated funds to pay for extravagant properties.

During the verdict announcement, Bankman-Fried, wearing a gray suit and a purple tie, sat with his hands folded in a packed courtroom. Reports suggest he briefly acknowledged his sobbing parents, Barbara Fried and Joseph Bankman, both professors at Stanford Law School. His mother was seen burying her face in her hands.

The sentencing for Bankman-Fried is set for March 28, 2024, with a potential maximum sentence of 110 years in prison for seven counts of wire fraud, securities fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering.

Damian Williams, the district attorney for the Southern District of New York, celebrated the verdict outside the courtroom in Manhattan.

“The crypto industry might be new, the players like Sam Bankman-Fried may be new, but this kind of fraud is as old as time and we have no patience for it,” Williams told reporters.

Bankman-Fried had taken the witness stand in his defense. Nevertheless, federal prosecutors criticized his failure to recall critical pieces of evidence presented. “He thought he could fool reporters, the public, and now you,” stated federal prosecutor Danielle Sassoon in a final plea to the jurors. “You know better.”

According to the NY Post, the prosecutor emphasized, “You can’t walk into a jewelry store, steal a diamond necklace and then walk out and say there was no security guard… He knew what he was doing was wrong — that’s why he didn’t hire a risk officer.”

NY Post Rips Hunter’s Op-Ed w/ Fiery Editorial: ‘A Load of Bull’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The editorial board of the New York Post did not mince words in their scathing rebuke of Hunter Biden’s recent op-ed for USA Today, where he portrayed himself as a victim of the politicization of his drug abuse.

In a fiery editorial, the NY Post ripped Hunter’s attempt to deflect attention from the controversy engulfing the Biden family, emphasizing that the crux of the scandal lies in alleged influence-peddling.

“‘A load of bull!’” the editorial board declared, dismissing Hunter’s portrayal of himself as a victim. “The scandal is influence-peddling. … You’re not the victim, Hunter.”

The publication delved into the widely discussed evidence suggesting potential political corruption in the Biden family’s affairs.

“Sure, Hunter Biden sold himself to foreign companies in exchange for access to his father, the vice president of the United States,” the response began. “Yes, he made millions from a Ukrainian gas company while his dad’s government portfolio included Ukraine, a flagrantly unethical arrangement that is still under investigation. […] But don’t blame him. It was all the drugs!”

Hunter’s op-ed was met with particular ire as he criticized Republicans, Special Counsel David Weiss, and the NY Post for purportedly weaponizing his drug addiction.

Hunter’s expression of concern over the reported demonization of drug abuse and his claim of being used as an avatar to attack his father didn’t sit well with the NY Post.

Specifically, Hunter’s op-ed lamented, “What troubles me is the demonization of addiction, of human frailty, using me as its avatar and the devastating consequences it has for the millions struggling with addiction, desperate for a way out and being bombarded by the denigrating and near-constant coverage of me and my addiction on Fox News (more airtime than GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis) and in The New York Post (an average of two stories a day over the past year).”

However, the editorial board of the NY Post was quick to debunk this narrative. “You know what the vast majority of those stories don’t mention? Hunter’s drug use. Because we’re not ‘weaponizing’ addiction, we’re reporting on the intersection of Hunter’s business dealings and Joe Biden’s political career.”

Court Overturns Election Results, Calling Mounting Evidence of Fraud ‘Shocking’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Wednesday court ruling overturned the results of a Democratic primary election in Connecticut, citing what Superior Court Judge William Clark described as “shocking” evidence of absentee ballot fraud.

According to the CT Examiner, the election in question had initially declared Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim as the winner, but the victory was swiftly overshadowed by accusations of absentee fraud, with his opponent John Gomes taking legal action.

Following two weeks of evidentiary hearings, Clark issued a 37-page verdict, describing the gravity of the evidence.

“Mr. Ganim was also correct to be ‘shocked’ at what he saw on the video clips in evidence that were shown to him while he was on the witness stand,” the judge wrote. “The videos are shocking to the court and should be shocking to all the parties.”

Consequently, the ruling mandated a joint meeting between the two Democratic contenders and city officials to deliberate on the subsequent steps, setting a deadline of Nov. 17 for a resolution.

Gomes, a former member of the Ganim administration, hailed the decision as a “victory for the people of Bridgeport,” according to the CT Mirror.

“Our campaign always believed that the integrity of our democratic process must be upheld and Superior Court Judge William Clark agreed,” he said.

On the other hand, the Ganim team hinted at the possibility of an emergency filing with the state’s Supreme Court.

“Certainly, today’s decision by the court is a substantial one in the court case, and I’ll wait to be apprised by the lawyers as to whether or not they want to take an appeal,” Ganim said.

“I’m the endorsed Democratic candidate on the top line, and I’m asking everyone to come out and vote in this election. Let’s send a powerful message that we want to keep the progress going in Bridgeport,” he added.

Report Exposes California’s Shifty Schiff Living in Maryland for Over a Decade

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Embattled Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., found himself in the center of a political storm as documents recently surfaced, revealing that he has maintained a residence in Maryland for more than a decade while representing California’s 21st district.

Mortgage records and financial disclosures obtained by CNN indicated that Schiff claimed a 3,420-square-foot property in Maryland as his primary residence, alongside a smaller 650-square-foot condo in Burbank, California.

The documents, however, also uncovered his alleged utilization of the California address to mitigate a substantial $7,000 tax bill.

The timing of this bombshell comes as Schiff seeks the vacant U.S. Senate seat in California, following the passing of Sen. Dianne Feinstein earlier this year.

Schiff is competing against fellow Reps. Barbara Lee and Katie Porter for the senate seat, which is currently held by Gov. Gavin Newsom’s appointee, Laphonza Butler. Butler, a leftist activist, herself became embroiled in controversy for allegedly residing in Maryland.

A spokesperson for the embattled Democrat rushed to the congressman’s defense in a statement “Adam’s primary residence is Burbank, California, and will remain so when he wins the Senate seat,” the spokesperson claimed.

“As Adam has discussed openly many times over the years, including in his recent New York Times best-selling book, he and Eve made the difficult decision to move their family to the D.C. area to spend more time with his children while doing his job,” the individual added.

According to the bombshell report, Schiff paid California property taxes in 2017 by using a check that contained his Maryland address. Moreover, Schiff allegedly used his Maryland address during mortgage refinancing activities from 2003 to 2009, as well as in 2012. A Los Angeles County deed records for his California condo showed that he notarized the documents in Maryland.
