July 4 Mass Shooter’s Father Railroaded into Plea Deal in Blow for Gun Rights

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) As conservative media was focused over the Nashville trans shooter’s politically charged manifesto released Monday, prosecutors in Illinois were railroading the father of the alleged July 4, 2022, mass shooter in a case with grave implications for the right to bear arms.

Robert Crimo Jr.—the father of alleged Highland Park shooter Robert Crimo III—was set to go to trial Monday, but accepted a last minute plea deal. Crimo Jr. had been charged with seven felony counts of reckless conduct for sponsoring his son’s gun license application in 2019. He pleaded down to misdemeanors and will reportedly receive 60 days in jail, two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.

The case against Crimo Jr. appeared to be dubious on its face—as documented by online personality and pro-gun researcher “BX,” who covered Crimo Jr.’s legal proceedings.

Indeed, Crimo Jr.’s only “crime” was cosigning his then-19-year-old son’s firearms license application nearly three years before the son allegedly went on his July 4 rampage, BX noted. Prosecutors had reportedly planned on using witnesses who spotted “warning signs” with Crimo III when he was still a child—but those witnesses would have been relying on their memories of events that happened nearly a decade ago.

For example, one of the state’s witnesses was a Christian camp worker who purportedly spotted warning signs with Crimo III, which was when Bobby was only 15 years old, according to BX.

However, state prosecutors employed some dirty tactics to get Crimo Jr. to take the plea deal.

According to BX, prosecutors subpoenaed a Crimo family member to testify against the father last weekend, right before his trial was set to begin. Prosecutors had already subpoenaed Crimo III’s younger brother.

“The state’s strategy required pitting Mr. Crimo’s family against each other,” said Crimo Jr.’s attorney, George Gomez. “Mr. Crimo ultimately did not want his family to be more torn apart on the public stage than it already has.”

Crimo III has yet to go to trial. He is accused of killing seven people and wounding 48 others.

Six Tlaib Fundraisers Are Linked to Terrorism

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A recent report from a watchdog group revealed that anti-Israel Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D–Mich., was connected to at least “six terror-linked activists who all served as cohosts for fundraisers for her 2018 congressional campaign.”

Canary Mission, an organization that monitors anti-Semitism across the United States, wrote in its October report that it identified three new Tlaib fundraisers who are connected to terrorism, just a day after the “Squad” member was censured by the House for promoting anti-Semitism. The report itself gathered widespread attention on social media.

Among those fundraisers were a man who “met with a Hamas co-founder while in a maximum-security Israeli jail,” a man who allied “with multiple terror groups, including Hamas” and a man who was convicted “by an Israeli military court for providing material support to Hamas.”

Mwafaq Jbara, one of the Tlaib’s fundraisers, previously “met with a Hamas co-founder while [both were] in a maximum-security Israeli jail.” It was also reported that Jbara, who raised funds for Tlaib in 2018, “called for the death of Jews and praised the terrorist who killed U.S. Army veteran Taylor Force.”

In addition to that, Jbara “has shared a huge amount of pro-terror material on Facebook and is a well-known anti-Israel organizer in Chicago,” the group reported.

Canary Mission also found out that Sheikh Muhammad Qatanani, a second fundraiser of Tlaib, faced deportation from America in the past for failing to disclose his conviction in an Israeli military court of providing support to Hamas, “as well as his membership in the terror organization.”

The group also added that “Qatanani’s deceased brother-in-law, Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, was reportedly a Hamas military leader” who was listed as a cohost for a 2018 Tlaib fundraising event in Clifton, N.J.

Huwaida Arraf, another Tlaib fundraiser who was identified by the watchdog organization, was revealed to be a prominent anti-Israel activist who allegedly “has allied with multiple terror groups, including Hamas.” In 2018, Arraf cohosted one of Tlaib’s fundraising events that happened in Detroit.

MTG Pushes Impeachment Vote Against Mayorkas Amid Illegal Immigration Influx

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., spearheaded a bold move on Thursday to push for a vote on the impeachment of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has come under intense scrutiny following the illegal entry of millions of undocumented migrants across the U.S. border.

During a speech on the House floor, Greene unveiled the impeachment resolution, citing what she described as “high crimes and misdemeanors” committed by Mayorkas.

“The ongoing invasion at our southern border is a direct national security threat against the States and against the citizens therein,” she declared.

Taking the campaign to Twitter, Greene announced Reps. Greg Steube, R-Fla., and Mary Miller, R-Ill., were co-sponsoring the resolution.

“Enough is enough – it’s time to impeach Secretary Mayorkas and hold him accountable for failing to secure our border,” she said in a tweet, alongside an interview on Fox News.

Data from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveals a staggering 8 million illegal immigrants were apprehended by immigration authorities. Additionally, 1.8 million individuals, known as “gotaways,” managed to enter the U.S. undetected.

According to a report in the New York Post, 280 individuals were identified as names on the federal government’s terrorist watchlists among those attempting to cross the border. Notably, 73,000 “special interests aliens” originated from countries such as Iran and Afghanistan, where the threat of terrorism looms large.

In addition, apprehension records indicate that 85,000 out of 400,000 unaccompanied minors have gone missing. Tragically, a total of 1,424 individuals have lost their lives in perilous attempts to cross the border illegally.

Greene’s case against Mayorkas points to alleged violations of the U.S. Constitution’s Article IV Guarantee Clause and disregard for the Secure Fence Act of 2006. The controversial policy of catch and release remains a focal point in the impeachment resolution.

Responding to the threat of impeachment, the DHS accused House Republicans of playing politics. “While the House Majority has wasted months trying to score points with baseless attacks, Secretary Mayorkas has been doing his job and working to keep Americans safe,” a spokesperson claimed.

BLM Chapter Co-Founder Endorses Trump for President in 2024

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The former co-founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter in Rhode Island said in a recent interview that he was endorsing former President Donald Trump in 2024 “because everybody else sucks,” the Epoch Times reported.

Mark Fisher went on to say that he suspected others in the BLM movement shared his sentiment.

Trump is “the best candidate we have,” he told podcaster Kim Iversen.

The shocking development follows several recent polls that showed President Joe Biden’s base of support among both black and Hispanic voters is eroding.

Many—including Trump primary rival Vivek Ramaswamy, who raised the idea during Wednesday’s GOP debate—suspect that Democrats may attempt to run former first lady  Michelle Obama, talkshow host Oprah Winfrey or another black female whose universal name recognition and fundraising ability could overcome any disadvantages from a late campaign start.

Nonetheless, Trump’s message and philosophy have undeniably resonated with a growing number of African–American men in particular, who see him as a victim of the same two-tiered justice system that has long been stacked against them.

He has benefited from the endorsements of several high-profile rappers and other iconoclastic black celebrities.

During Trump’s presidency, the BLM movement, which was rooted in Marxist principles and underwritten in part by China, presented itself at times as a direct foil to Trump’s administration, making their social-justice demonstrations into de-facto campaign rallies.

Many of the donations made to BLM that were not embezzled by its top officials for their own personal use wound up going to Democrat political campaigns and causes, and the lines between the two groups were often blurred as funds were intermixed on sites like ActBlue.

Despite the interviewer’s effort to talk him down, however, Fisher insisted that Trump shined when compared with the current White House occupant, who is notoriously racist among other things.

“I like Trump,” Fisher said. “I think right now, who we have sitting in the Oval Office is just a deep disappointment.”

Fisher, like many disaffected leftists, appears to have been red-pilled by the Biden administration, and he echoed some of the sentiments espoused by the Blexit movement and its founder Candace Owens, who argue that Democrats have a centuries-long unbroken streak of practicing plantation politics but somehow were able to dupe or coerce black civil-rights leaders during the 1960s into persuading black constituents that they had flipped sides.

“Their policies are basically racist policies,” Fisher noted.

The Left’s stances on things like abortion, welfare and criminal justice “strike at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family, in general, and I believe Donald Trump is the opposite,” Fisher added. “He’s going to tell you how it is, he’s going to give it to you straight, he’s not going to be a hypocrite and stab you in the back like the Democratic Party loves to do.”

In a separate interview with the Epoch Times he expressed his solidarity and support with the Jan. 6 political dissidents who had been oppressed under the Biden Justice Department.

“They’re lambs led to slaughter, to be sacrificed as an example for all who might want to dissent in the future,” Fisher said. “This is what the government does to those who express independent thought and want to stand up for what they believe.”

Comer Unleashes New Subpoenas for Hunter’s Biz Associates and Art Dealer

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., issued on Monday new subpoenas to individuals tied with the business dealings of the Biden family, which has become the epicenter of an impeachment inquiry.

The move came a day after Comer subpoenaed Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son. Comer is now targeting Hunter’s associates Eric Schwerin and Mervyn Yan, along with gallerist George Bergès and art patron Elizabeth Naftali, for depositions.

According to a report by Fox News, Comer’s request in January for information from Bergès aimed to uncover any communication between the gallery and the White House, especially regarding alleged efforts to conceal records of prices and buyers of Hunter’s art.

In addition, Comer announced his intent to interview the trustee company, Americore Holdings, LLC, regarding loans the Biden family reportedly received.

“The House Oversight Committee is leaving no stone unturned as we investigate President Joe Biden’s central role in his family’s domestic and international business dealings,” Comer stated in a press release. “Yesterday, the House Oversight Committee delivered subpoenas to the President’s son, Hunter Biden, brother, James Biden, and other Biden family associates connected to the record of evidence obtained by this Committee.”

In a bid to building an impeachment case against Biden, Comer is seeking information related to what he described as “20 shell companies,” most of which were allegedly established during Biden’s tenure as vice president. Comer alleged that these companies were created as an illegal effort to obscure incoming payments from foreign countries.

“A plethora of bank records, texts, emails, and a transcribed interview with Biden family associate Devon Archer all show the Bidens and their business partners sold access to the highest levels of our government, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of America’s interests,” Comer declared on Monday.

These allegations are part of a Republican-led impeachment push against the president, who continues to maintain his and his family’s innocence, despite the growing scrutiny.

Attorney Abbe Lowell, who is defending Hunter, accused the impeachment probe of being “partisan” in a Wednesday letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.

“This is yet another political stunt aimed at distracting from the glaring failure of Rep. Comer and his MAGA allies to prove a single one of their wild and now discredited conspiracies about the Biden family,” Lowell said in a statement, according to Fox.

Manchin Won’t Run for Senate Re-Election, May Consider 3rd Party Presidential Run

() Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., announced Thursday he would not run for reelection for his Senate seat but will instead travel the country to see if there is an appetite for a movement made up of the political middle to “take back America,” he said.

“After months of deliberation and long conversation with my family, I believe in my heart of hearts that I have accomplished what I set out to do for West Virginia,” Manchin said in a video announcement on Twitter.

“I have made one of the toughest decisions of my life and decided that I will not be running for election to United States Senate,” he continued. “But what I will be doing is traveling the country and speaking out to see if there is an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together.”

Manchin, who is known as one of the most moderate Democrats in the Senate, sparked rumors with his announcement that he was feeling out a possible presidential run.

“The growing divide between Democrats and Republicans is paralyzing Congress and worsening our nations problems,” Manchin said.

“The majority of Americans are just plain worn out,” he added. “Our economy is not working for many Americans, from the rising cost of food and fuel and everything in between.”

Manchin also spoke about the “border crisis” and the illegal drugs entering the U.S., the soaring national debt and public safety. He also addressed the need to avoid being pulled into the overseas wars in Ukraine and Gaza.

“I know our country isn’t as divided as Washington would like us to believe,” Manchin said.

“We share common values of family, freedom, democracy, dignity and a belief that together we can overcome any challenge,” he continued. “We need to take back America and not let this divisive hatred further pull us apart. Public service has and continues to drive me everyday.”

Manchin, who cited former President John F. Kennedy as his inspiration for getting into politics, will join JFK’s nephew, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as one of the most formidable third-party contenders and potential spoilers for both leading parties. He has been floated as a top contender in the emerging No Labels ticket.

However, having been a longtime member of the Democratic party, he is likely to pose the greatest threat to his former party, where incumbent President Joe Biden thus far has seen little competition from his own side despite growing indications of discontent from within.

Manchin’s exit from the West Virginia Senate race also adds a new layer of intrigue to the ongoing primary battle there, where sitting governor Jim Justice—a former Democrat who once was endorsed by Manchin—is leading against Freedom Caucus Rep. Alex Mooney.

Manchin had one primary competitor, activist Zachary Shrewsbury. It remains to be seen whether another political heavyweight will enter the race for the Democratic side or if the party will instead make the calculated decision to write off the deep-red state.

Fed Up U.S. Lawyer Shoots, Kills Climate-Change Protesters Blocking Road in Panama

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was revealed that the man who shot dead two climate change activists who were blocking a road in Panama on Tuesday is a retired American lawyer.

Kenneth Darlington, 77, got stuck in traffic that was caused by the activists who had set up a roadblock on the highway that was about 55 miles west of Panama City, the country’s capital, according to the Daily Mail.

At some point, Darlington became fed up with the activists, which resulted in him getting out of his car and reportedly telling other drivers who were stuck in traffic “This ends today.”

He then approached a group of activists, mostly made up of leftist teachers, to argue with them about the blockage of the road.

Darlington then pulled out his gun and the leftists started asking questions like “Why don’t you shoot?” and “Are you going to kill someone?” He responded with “Do you want to be the first?” and then opened fire, which resulted in two victims.

Abdiel Díaz, one of the victims, died at the scene, while the the other man, Iván Rodríguez, 62, was taken to the Juan Vega Méndez clinic in the nearby town of San Carlos, but was dead on arrival at the hospital.

After clearing away more of the roadblock while still holding his gun, Darlington returned to his car.

One of the people who was sitting in traffic asked him if he was aware of what happened and Darlington admitted that he “killed one and shot another.”

Darlington then got into his car and told his girlfriend that they are leaving, to which she said that they are not going to leave. She then reportedly called National Police Agents, who later stopped the car and seized the firearm. After that, Darlington was handcuffed and taken away by police.

On Wednesday afternoon, Darlington appeared before a judge in the town of La Espiga. He was being charged with murder and illegal possession of a gun, according to Eliécer Plicett, a lawyer for the two victims. However, it is possible that he could be able to avoid jail time because of his age and instead be sentenced to house arrest.

Tim Scott Quells Speculation by Bringing Girlfriend Onstage at Debate

0

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) After recent media speculation that his girlfriend was a contrivance of his imagination—or an outright lie—Republican presidential hopeful Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., proved her existence by bringing her onstage after Wednesday night’s presidential debate, the New York Post reported.

Only one U.S. president in American history—James Buchanan—has been a bachelor, and despite rumors and innuendo enshrouding everyone from Abraham Lincoln to Barack Obama, no president to date has been openly gay.

Given the dominance of married men in the history of the executive office for the past 139 years, many  naturally questioned Scott’s dating status, particularly since the Republican Party is the party of family values.

The 58-year-old South Carolinian has never been married, and he was believed to be single until he mentioned his girlfriend in passing last May.

Further complicating matters, Scott’s campaign manager, Jennifer DeCasper, has repeatedly insisted since that time that Scott is single, despite his own claims to have a girlfriend.

When asked by a potential voter why Scott’s girlfriend never attends campaign rallies, DeCasper stated: “That’s because he’s single.”

But now, Scott has brought forward the—or at least a—mystery woman.

Amid rumored threats from donors to pull their funding if he did not produce a potential first lady, Scott was joined onstage after the debate by a certain Mindy Noce, who is reported to be Scott’s girlfriend.

The senator described his girlfriend—a Charleston-based design and renovation consultant and the mom of three kids—as “a lovely Christian girl” that he met through a friend from church.

After the debate, Scott told ABC News that Noce has been around for months.

“She was at my kickoff when I announced my candidacy back in May,” he said.

“So the good news is we continue to have a healthy relationship; thankfully, both love the Lord and have a healthy respect for one another; and, I tell you, we have a lot of fun together.”

In response to the odd situation, the Washington Post previously ran a lengthy article inquiring into Scott’s love life and exploring if voters still found being married important in a post-Epstein Island era.

“I think 10 or 20 years ago, people had a kind of romance with the first family,” Bob Vander Plaats, the head of the Family Leader, a social conservative organization in Iowa, told the Post, adding that being married is no longer essential for being a viable candidate.

Still, for Scott’s campaign, it will be important to get every vote possible in a race that will likely be dominated by former President Donald Trump, himself a three-time groom.

CNN, NYTimes Accused of Hiring Freelancers w/ Advance Knowledge of Hamas Oct. 7 Attack

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA)  CNN, the New York Times, the Associated Press and Reuters have faced severe criticism after an exposé alleged their collaboration with Gaza-based freelance journalists who reportedly had prior knowledge of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.

The report, released by Honest Reporting, brought to light that these media outlets utilized images taken by freelance journalists who were present during the Hamas assault on the southern region of Israel.

Honest Reporting questioned the presence of AP and Reuters journalists on the scene, asking, “Was it coordinated with Hamas? Did the respectable wire services, which published their photos, approve of their presence inside enemy territory, together with the terrorist infiltrators? Did the photojournalists who freelance for other media, like CNN and The New York Times, notify these outlets?”

The investigation identified several freelance journalists including, Hassan Eslaiah, Yousef Masoud, Ali Mahmud and Hatem Ali, who were allegedly on-site during the Hamas invasion that led to the deaths of at least 1,400 individuals.

Eslaiah, working as a freelancer for CNN, was reported to have captured images of a burning tank and documented the live infiltration of an Israeli kibbutz. Additionally, a photograph showed Eslaiah posing with Yahya Sinwar, an alleged mastermind behind the attack.

Yousef Masoud, freelancing for the NY Times, was allegedly responsible for documenting the invasion of Israel, while Ali Mahmud and Hatem Ali reportedly photographed the inhumane kidnapping of civilians.

Notably, Mahmud was identified as the individual who took a photograph of Shani Lou, a German-Israeli, whose lifeless body was paraded in Gaza in the back of a truck, with Gazans spitting on her.

In response to the allegations, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the journalists, labeling them as accomplices of Hamas in a fired-up Twitter post.

“These journalists were accomplices in crimes against humanity; their actions were contrary to professional ethics,” he said, urging immediate action to be taken.

According to Deadline, AP denied any prior knowledge of the Oct. 7 attacks before they occurred, claiming that the “first pictures AP received from any freelancer show they were taken more than an hour after the attacks began.”

Both CNN and AP have severed ties with the accused freelancers, while Reuters similarly denied the allegations. Additionally, the NY Times deemed the allegations “outrageous,” claiming, “It is reckless to make such allegations, putting our journalists on the ground in Israel and Gaza at risk.”

Former U.S. Senator Sexually Assaulted While on Run

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Former U.S. Sen. Martha McSally, R-Ariz. said in a post via her personal Instagram that she was the victim of an attempted sexual assault that occurred while she was out running.

McSally, who is also a veteran Air Force pilot, posted a video describing the crime, which took place near Omaha, Nebraska, according to the Gateway Pundit.

A post shared by Martha McSally (@marthamcsally)

“I was just running while I was out running along the Missouri River on the Iowa side,” she said.

“I’m here in Omaha to speak tonight about courage and heart, and how to be a brave heart, and I just had it put to the test,” she continued. “A man came up behind me, and he engulfed me in a bear hug, and he molested and fondled me until I fought him off.”

She went on to say that she broke the man’s grasp, chased him into some brush, threw her water bottle at him, then called 911 and waited for the police.

The man escaped, but McSally expressed gratitude for her safety, and for the wherewithal that gave her the ability to fight back against the attacker.

“[I]n this moment, I just wanted to share that I chose to fight and I’m OK right now, in part, because of that,” she said.

“It could have been much worse,” she added. “I still have a lot to process, and I will do that in time.”

McSally said in 2019 she was assaulted by a superior officer while serving in the Air Force. The incident and subsequent handling almost pushed her out of the service after 18 years.

She contrasted the two scenarios in her video.

“But in this case, I felt like I took my power back,” she said. “He tried to take power from me, but I turned it on him and he was running from me instead of the other way around.

Continuing, McSally said she knew she had a lot of emotional processing to do as she calmed down from the incident.

Law enforcement in the area were unable to provide comments on the situation as the investigation is ongoing.

McSally, a former congresswoman, was appointed in January 2019 by then-Gov. Doug Ducey to serve in place of the deceased Sen. John McCain. However, she narrowly lost her special-election race to Democrat Mark Kelly in Arizona’s notorious 2020 election, which was fraught with irregularities.

An audit conducted by the state Senate concluded that many more mail-in ballots were returned than were listed as having been sent out, among other suspicious circumstances that cast aspersions on then-Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a George Soros-funded Democrat.
