The Leftist Governor spent $100,000 on 18 billboards in 7 red states, per Politico.
Politico reported that those states were South Dakota, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas.
One Billboard read, “Texas doesn’t own your body. You do. Visit Abortion.ca.gov to learn more.” The ad depicts the back of a handcuffed woman in what appears to be a formal white dress.
This is not the first time Newsom has supported baby-slaughter tourism.
In June, he tweeted, “I just signed a bill that makes our state a safe haven for women across the nation.” The tweet continued to promise, “We will not cooperate with any states that attempt to prosecute women or doctors for receiving or providing reproductive care.”
Abortion is legal in California.
It will remain that way.

Newsom’s governorship has been consistent with his radical anti-life rhetoric.
Politico reported that California has passed more than twelve bills “expanding access and funding for abortion.” Newsom’s state has also produced an initiative to “enshrine the right to an abortion and contraceptives in the state constitution.”
Newsom listed ideological reasons for his advertisements. “I’m doing this because I care,” he claimed, according to Politico.
“I’m doing it because the people that support my candidacy support this,” he continued. And when many heard about this, they wanted to support additional efforts like it.”
Bill Wong, a longtime Democratic strategist, pointed out a more practical reason for the advertisement.
“It’s a really smart, asymmetric move,” he told Politico.
“Two million [dollars] in California will get you, like, 2 a.m. on some really random cable channel,” he continued. “But if you’re spending $100,000 on billboards in red states, and you’re getting earned media, that’s probably worth the equivalent of like a $4 million or $5 million media buy.”
Regardless, Newsom joins the Federal Government in their attempt to enable baby-slaughter tourism.
The Department of Health and Human Services created a website to help mothers of all ages find a location where killing their unborn child is legal.
The HHS website also directed mothers towards subsidies to fund their travel to slaughter the baby. The DOJ also promised to protect the “right” of mothers traveling across state lines to commit infanticide.
