As the Biden administration seems to be hemorrhaging support, even amongst members of its own party, Vice President Kamala Harris is again drawing fire for behavior that seems inauthentic.
At issue is a creepy NASA video where Harris appears with child actors who were paid to look interested in what the Vice President had to say.

“Still can’t get over this,” tweeted Matt Whitlock. “Watch these kids react to meeting the Vice President and finding out she heads the space council—and remember they were paid (with tax dollars) to react like this. And note that Kamala is just performing too.”
But the taxpayers weren’t the only ones that the administration was trying to fool.
The actors had no idea until just before the shoot that they were doing a video with the vice president.
“It was pitched to my son and us as a pilot,” said Carlo Bernardino, whose son Trevor was cast in one of the roles according to the Washington Examiner. “Our hope is that it gets picked up” as a recurring series, he concluded.
Others are also criticizing the vice president for having misguided priorities. The NASA video was filmed in August, when the border crisis was exploding in Texas.
Since then, Harris has continued to ignore any and all official responsibilities in favor of soft appearances that will avoid linking her, presumably, to the Biden administration’s many fiascos.
Over the weekend, she visited a COVID testing center in Newark, NJ, alongside Sen. Cory Booker, and later dropped by a local bakery to sample its wares.
Meanwhile, at the southern border, Americans continued to feel the brunt of her negligence and neglect.
“Where’s Kamala? Where in the hell is she?” one rancher asked recently, according to Fox News. “How come she didn’t come down here?”
Harris was tapped by the administration to look at comprehensively solving the immigration crisis but has been notably absent from the borders area affected.
Some have felt she has avoided the area because the administration has set her up to fail, in a tacit power struggle between Biden and Harris.
Conservative activist Candace Owens suggested to Tucker Carlson on his show that Harris hates being subordinate to President Joe Biden.
“I mean, it’s that bad,” Carlson said, according to DailyWire, adding that Harris is “daring you to watch her without vomiting. I mean, she’s literally that phony.”
