(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Biden administration prepared a plan to launch protections against artificial intelligence, and placed Vice President Kamala Harris in charge as the technology quickly grows.
Harris met with several leading officials at Google, Microsoft and other AI companies on Thursday. According to ABC News, President Joe Biden stepped into the meeting briefly to make a statement.

“What you’re doing has enormous potential and enormous danger,” Biden told the CEOs, according to a video posted to his Twitter account.
Elon Musk, billionaire and Twitter CEO, is among those who has cautioned that AI could have devastating effects if left unchecked.
Amid recent warnings from AI experts -that the developing technology could be exploited by tyrannical dictators to push disinformation, the Biden administration has shelled out $140 million in funding for seven brand-new artificial intelligence research groups.
“We’re at a moment that in the next couple of months will really determine whether or not we lead on this or cede leadership to other parts of the world, as we have in other tech regulatory spaces like privacy or regulating large online platforms,” said Adam Conner of the far-left Center for American Progress.
Harris does not have a great track record of completing the projects bequeathed to her.
In the first few months of his presidency, Biden tasked the vice president with the care and keeping of America’s southern border. After several years of record-breaking illegal immigration, Border Patrol officers are bracing themselves for a massive surge of migrants when the pandemic-era Title 42 protections are lifted next week.
The porous border has also allowed drug cartels to send an increased amount of fentanyl, a deadly chemical opioid, into the United States. Currently, there is enough of the potent drug in the country to kill every single American citizen.
Immediately prior to Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Harris also went to Europe at Biden’s behest, in a grand attempt to keep the world from a devastating nuclear war. Her efforts were fruitless.
Instead of working, Harris has continued to toss word salads and wax on about Venn diagrams.

In a recent appearance, she purchased some records and blatantly ignored a shouted question about the debt ceiling—a hotly contested topic among many legislators currently.
Some Twitter users considered the possible benefits of Harris becoming more familiar with artificial intelligence, with some suggesting that perhaps it could improve her speeches.
