(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) MSNBC host Joy Reid closed her show on Friday by defending fellow leftist propagandist, Tiffany Cross, after she was fired from the network, according to Fox News.
“Before I go, I really do just want to say one quick thing about my friend, colleague and sister Tiffany Cross,” Reid said.
“She’s not just my friend, she’s my sister. I love her, I support her, I was boosting for her to get the show that she created, the Cross Connection, which she put her heart and soul into every day.”
She then called Cross’s critics who are “attacking her on a social media app that [she] won’t name” “far-right.”
“You don’t understand how sisters move,” Reid said. “So, watch this space. We will be here, her sisters will be here to support anything Tiffany Cross ever does. Know that. Believe that.”
MSNBC decided to break the contract with Cross after her remarks became too radical even for the leftist network.
“Cross Connection” will be replaced by rotating guest anchors until a replacement is not found, according to a source close to the situation.
The other source told Fox News that the reason Cross was fired was because of her bad behavior and judgment.
“Repeated bad behavior on and off-air. Bad judgment.”
Some people speculate that the last straw for MSNBC was Cross’s appearance last week on Comedy Central where she said that Fla. should be “castrated” from the rest of the country.
“I say Florida literally looks like the d*** of the country, so let’s get rid of Florida,” she said.
“Let’s castrate Florida … Here’s the problem: Ron DeStupid, Ron DeSantis, whatever you want to call Florida man, he is so problematic.”
Throughout her TV career, Cross made other radical comments, like saying that there is already a “civil war” happening in the U.S., urging regular leftists to “pick up a weapon and get involved” to fight conservatives.
“It is indeed a war. And I have to say, they have won some battles… but we have to keep our eye on the war. And everybody needs to pick up a weapon and get involved because this is for the safety and lasting of the country,” she said.
She also called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas “Justice Pubic Hair on My Coke Can,” warned about “White replacement” on her show and called Republican members of Congress “White supremacists.”
