NY Gov. Hochul Accused of Staging Photos of Barbecue Grill-Out

'Is that propane? Are you kidding?'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) New York’s Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul posted suspicious photos of herself allegedly grilling hamburgers and hot dogs in a spotleess white dress, leading to speculation that the image was either staged or edited, Twitchy reported.

“Great day for a barbeque, New York!” Hochul wrote.

In addition to her unruffled and immaculate attire, Hochul’s unnatural posture and sheepish expression all pointed to the likelihood that the grill’s igniter switch wasn’t the only thing doing the gaslighting.

Hochul, who assumed office following the resignation of elected Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a flurry of personal and political scandals, has been slammed for appearing to be out of touch—not only with her constituents but with reality itself.

Despite New York’s status as a deep-blue state, she faces a tough battle to win the seat outright against Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin in an election season that promises to be punishing for Democrats across the board.

The tone-deaf governor was slammed on Twitter for the bizarre staging of the photo.

“Tell me you’ve never grilled before without telling me you’ve never grilled,” one Twitter user wrote, noting her awkward stance and strange smile.

Others mocked her for wearing a white dress.

“Flipping burgers in a white dress like the rest of America,” one Twitter user wrote.

Others slammed her for adding to her carbon footprint.

Elites on both sides of the aisle have failed miserably over the past decade to show Americans that they have the slightest clue what normal life is like.

Perhaps the most infamous gaffe was then-presidential-candidate Elizabeth Warren’s attempt to show her lower-middle class American roots by awkwardly drinking a Michelob Ultra while thanking her husband for being at his own house.

“I’m gonna get me a beer,” Warren said as she awkwardly attempted to relate to people outside the beltway.

Of course the corporate media routinely defends leftist politicians from backlash after their absurd attempts to appear patriotic.

Warren, for example, was immediately exonerated by the Atlantic after her antics. Fortunately Donald Trump bashed her with one of his greatest Tweets.

“Best line in the Elizabeth Warren beer catastrophe is, to her husband, ‘Thank you for being here. I’m glad you’re here’ It’s their house, he’s supposed to be there!”
