Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been cleared of campaign finance scandals due to loopholes in the Michigan campaign finance laws, the Epoch Times reported.
Yale elite and Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson smugly declared her leftist comrade innocent of any wrongdoing as she circumvented the law.
Last summer the Michigan Freedom Fund pointed to major problems with Whitmer’s campaign finance funding.
Big Gretch had raked in $3.4 million in the first half of 2021 through a total of 154 donations — every one of which vastly exceeded the $7,150 cap on individual contributions.
The figure has since ballooned to $4 million.
According to a statement released by Benson’s office, the Michigan’s tyrannical queen can do no wrong in the eyes of the law.
“As with any complaint,” department spokesman Jake Rollow said, “the professional staff with Michigan‘s Bureau of Elections conducted a thorough analysis that included a review of all relevant laws, policies, and the facts presented, which resulted in the Department concluding that there was no legal violation in either instance.”
Benson and her department also mentioned that they would be open to reviewing the old law now that Whitmer has successfully taken advantage of it.
“While the Department would like to revisit the decades-old policy regarding fundraising into a campaign committee during a recall effort,” the statement reads, “and would welcome a request for a revised declaratory ruling, in the matter before the Department, which is bound by precedent and law, there was no evidence of a violation.”
Despite clearing one hurdle, Whitmer faces an uphill battle as she prepares for reelection in 2022 as Republicans prepare for a strong push across the nation.
She, along with Gov. Gavin Newsom in California, demanded one of the strictest, longest, and most destructive lockdowns in the nation, destroying small business and cooperating with globalist corporations to remake the world as she prefers it.
