Gov. Sarah Sanders & Trump Torch Biden’s Shoddy State of the Union

'From out of control inflation and violent crime, to the dangerous border crisis and threats from China, Biden and the Democrats have failed you... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump and his former White House press secretary, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, delivered stinging rebukes and rebuttals to President Joe Biden’s unhinged distortions that tried and failed Tuesday night to pass as a serious State of the Union address.

On everything from social security and the border crisis, to China, inflation and supply chains, Trump served up a wicked combination of criticism and sarcasm as he “Truthed” out a brutal real-time review of Biden’s speech.

“He seems to be very angry, shouting into the mic, when he’s trying to come across as conciliatory,” Trump noted as Biden escalated his rhetoric. “Perhaps somebody should walk up to the dais, tap him on the shoulder, and say, “Be cool!”

“Having a hard time getting the words out, even though the Fake News will credit him with one of the Great Speeches of all time,” Trump said. “I really want to see him improve. Come one Joe, you can do it!”

Or not.

“If I ever made a Speech like this, they’d run me out of Washington, D.C.,” Trump wrote. “But there’s time left, maybe he can save it.”

Or not.

“He’s lying so much about Social Security, Medicare, and so many other things!” Trump observed. “Stumbling, bumbling, he just can’t get the words out. I don’t want that to happen, but the World is watching, and it’s not a pretty sight!”

Sanders picked up where Trump left off, in a scathing rebuttal address that was more effective in its 15 minutes, than the whole of Biden’s hour-plus ramblings and lies.

“Forgive me for not believing much of anything I heard tonight from President Biden,” Sanders said. “From out of control inflation and violent crime, to the dangerous border crisis and threats from China, Biden and the Democrats have failed you.”

Sanders blistered Biden for waging a “cultural war” and promoting “woke fantasies” versus delivering “hard reality”.

“We are under attack in a left-wing culture war we didn’t start and never wanted to fight. Every day we are told we must partake in their rituals, salute their flags, and worship their false idols,” Sanders said. “All while big government colludes with big tech to strip away the most American thing there is: your freedom of speech.”

Sanders also laid out the GOP’s vision for the country, and it painted a stark contrast to the path Biden is following.

“Republicans believe in an America where strong families thrive in safe communities. Where jobs are abundant, and paychecks are rising,” she said. “Where the freedom our veterans shed their blood to defend is the birthright of every man, woman, and child.”

The two visions for the country couldn’t be different, Sanders said, and her response to Biden’s address proved it.

“The dividing line in America is no longer between Right or Left,” Sanders said. “The choice is between normal or crazy.”
