In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin said that he was in line to become chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and that he would use his position to investigate the Biden family’s corrupt activities.
“I will continue to investigate the corruption and potential criminal activity . . . which included Hunter Biden’s financial transactions that were linked to what appeared to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring,” Johnson said.
Johnson suggested that an investigation into Hunter’s financial activities would encompass corruption in both the federal government and media.
“As bad as the sleaze and corruption of the Biden Inc. family is, what troubles me even more is the complicity and corruption of the legacy media and certain elements within our federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies,” Johnson said. “That corruption needs to be investigated.”
In late June, the Examiner unearthed evidence which showed that President Joe Biden had “unwittingly” funded Hunter’s bizarre and expensive sexual exploits by paying his son’s bills to the tune of $100,000 between December 2018 through January 2019.
According to a report produced by Sens. Johnson and Chuck Grassley in 2020, Hunter made a number of transactions linked to what “appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”
The leftist media, of course, has studiously ignored Sleepy Joe’s role in his son’s corrupt dealings.
According to the Media Research Center, the major networks have all ignored the voicemail that recently came to light in which President Biden commented to his son on a New York Times article that discussed his business ventures.
“It’s a stunning revelation that ABC, CBS and NBC have yet to air on any of their evening or morning shows, because they are so in the tank for the Biden administration,” MRC director of media analysis Geoffrey Dickens told Fox News.
