Far-Left Pink Floyd Founder Denounces Ukraine ‘War Criminal’ Biden

'That's been absolutely accepted by the whole of the international community since 1948... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) The consistently anti-war leftist Roger Waters has come under fire from the warmongering uniparty after the Pink Floyd singer/songwriter called President Joe Biden a “war criminal” and blamed Russia‘s invasion of Ukraine on NATO encroachment,” according to The Hill

In an interview with CNN’s Michael Smerconish to promote his This Is Not A Drill tour, Waters accused Biden of “fueling the fire in the Ukraine.”

“Why wouldn’t the United States of America encourage [Ukrainian president] Zelensky to negotiate, obviating the need for the his horrific, horrendous war that’s killing we don’t know how many Ukrainians and Russians?” Waters asked.

Smerconish could only sputter in response, accusing Waters of blaming the victim.

“Any war, when did it start?” Waters retorted. “What you need to do is look at the history and you can say it started [in] 2008.”

“This war is basically about the action and reaction of NATO pushing right up to the Russian border, which they promised they wouldn’t do when Gorbachev negotiated the withdraw of the USSR from the whole of Eastern Europe,” Waters continued.

Now that Ukraine is no longer the Current Thing, Waters’ dissent might have been ignored, but then he went on to criticize the Biden administration’s eagerness to engage in a war of words with China over Taiwan.

When Smerconish described China as “encircling Taiwan,” Waters interrupted.

β€œThey’re not encircling Taiwan β€” Taiwan is part of China,” Waters said. “That’s been absolutely accepted by the whole of the international community since 1948, and if you don’t know that, you’re not reading enough.”

That was a bridge too far for the national security establishment, which responded quickly on Twitter.
