WATCH: DeSantis Goads Fake News w/ Reference to ‘Brandon Administration’

'This chant, I think, has taken on a life of its own because it exposes the dishonesty of these corporate reporters and what they do every day to try to lie...'

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rallied a crowd of supporters into “Let’s Go Brandon” chants after referring to the Biden administration as the “Brandon administration” in a speech, InfoWars reported.

DeSantis used the term while pondering the connection between large corporations and radical leftist politics.

“If you look at that, if you look at what’s going on with some of the big corporations with their woke agenda, when you look at the Biden—the Brandon administration…”

After catching on to the joke, the crowed clapped, laughed, and soon started chanting “Let’s Go Brandon!”

The Florida governor then proceeded to give some background surrounding the chant to illustrate the unpopularity of Joe Biden.

“Do you know how that started?” he asked. “You have the media, their hand-wringing over this, but, you know, it was at a NASCAR race, and they’re doing an interview with a driver, I guess his name was Brandon. And the crowd starts chanting very colorful language about Joe Biden.”

He then condemned the media for failing to address the chant, suggesting that “it was obvious that [that’s what] they were doing” and “so you have a reporter from NBC” who knew what the crowd was saying but chose to cover for the embattled President instead.

After pointing to the attempted coverup, DeSantis suggested that the media lie ought to be exposed openly as merely one example from a long list of fake news fabrications.

“And that was a lie. And it was a lie,” DeSantis added. “And so this chant, I think, has taken on a life of its own because it exposes the dishonesty of these corporate reporters and what they do every day to try to lie. And so now you see it.”
