(Robert Jonathan, Headline USA) On Thursday morning, CNN analyst Van Jones sounded like he could be on Team Newsom.
Reacting to CNN’s own poll that anchor Phil Mattingly characterized as “looking rough” for 80-year-old and often confused Joe Biden, the influential far-left activist implied it may be time to put the incumbent POTUS and purported beloved grandpa out to pasture.
“But right now, today, I think a lot of Democrats look at these numbers and say the whispers are finally showing up in this data. People are talking behind their hand,” Jones said on the network broadcast.
Jones, who was a White House advisor to Obama, added the following in making it seem like the Democrat “family” has Joe’s own good at heart:
“They worry about Joe Biden. Joe Biden’s like that grandpa that you love, that you believe in, you owe a lot. But you start to wonder, you know, would you give this grandpa a high-stress job for six more years or would you want something else for him?”
The subtext could be that Jones may be operating as a messenger for a faction of the Democrat establishment that wants Joe to step aside in favor of the woke California governor or possibly someone else other than Biden that they perceive as more electable.
Jones went on to say during the colloquy about the so-called whispers that “that’s what’s being talked about. And people are scared to come out and to say anything about it. But I think it’s important for us to have this conversation now.”
Softening the commentary somewhat, Jones insinuated that Biden’s handlers could turn things around, claiming “I think this is maybe the bottom for Joe Biden. He may go up as the economy improves, but right now, the economy is getting better, and fears about the economy are getting worse…”
Earlier in the interview, Jones conceded that “a lot of people are terrified that Joe Biden is in real trouble and that you can’t talk about it.”
In the past 24 hours Van Jones, Jake Tapper, James Carville, and Erin Burnett have all trashed Biden's reelection bid. The DNC has officially put a hit out on Biden and as always, they're using their media hitmen to whack the target. Dude is FINISHED.

Among other bad tidings for the current Democrat regime, the poll revealed that nearly 60% of the respondents have concluded that Biden polices have made the economy worse and close to 70% of Democrats prefer a different candidate to be their presidential standard-bearer.
According to the data, Biden’s overall approval rating with Americans has plummeted to 39%.
CNN also noted that “Roughly three-quarters of Americans say they’re seriously concerned that Biden’s age might negatively affect his current level of physical and mental competence (73%), and his ability to serve out another full term if reelected (76%).”
The CNN poll, which is derived from random online or telephone sample of about 1,500 registered voters (which is generally considered a less-reliable metric than likely voters) also indicated that Biden is locked into a close contest with the announced GOP candidates.
Almost all of the Republicans are effectively deadlocked with or lead Biden by one or two points, with the exception of globalist establishment favorite Nikki Haley, who supposedly has a six-point margin over Biden.

If Democrat insiders and their corporate media allies successfully push out Biden, they presumably will have to figure out a creative technique to deny the also-unpopular VP Kamala Harris the presidential nomination in a way that avoids antagonizing a portion of the party’s base.
Unless they have determined that they are stuck with Harris.
Even though he is a lifelong liberal, it seems inconceivable that the party would consider Biden 2024 rival Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as an option because of his populist approach on some key issues including free speech and health autonomy, along with his anti-war views.
In the end, regardless of what polls from CNN or other organizations suggest now or later, and the methodology of same is usually an issue, the progressive placeholder that Democrats officially designate may be inconsequential.
That’s because of ballot harvesting and the collection of sketchy mail-in ballots, where Democrats have a clear advantage.
