Deep State Leak Fuels Leftist Media’s Scare & Fear Campaign as Cover for Mar-a-Lago Raid

'Frequently, the public remembers the accusation, and still suspects guilt, even after an acquittal... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) After revelations made public the FBI’s egregious overreach during its militarized Mar-a-Lago raid, with agents heisting personal items belonging to Donald Trump that included medical and tax records, clothing, books, passports and empty folders, the Biden regime and its enablers in the leftist media decided a shift in narrative was needed.

The Washington Post delivered, reporting that it had obtained leaked information that materials lifted from Trump’s home included “a document describing a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities.”

The Post wrote that its Deep State sources didn’t reveal the foreign government in question, or where on the Mar-a-Largo home the document was found.

The information was apparently so deadly serious and super-ultra classified that Biden’s Justice Department, or someone in the security state apparatus, decided it needed to be leaked to a cooperative media ally.

“Some of the seized documents detail top-secret U.S. operations so closely guarded that many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them,” the Post warned.

That would be the same leftist media organ that helped propel the disinformation Russia hoax narrative, promising but never delivering explosive, damning revelations that would sink Trump, and subsequently had to retract much of its fake news reporting.

The latest leak conveniently followed a court ruling that ordered the Justice Department to stop its investigation of materials and documents lifted from Mar-a-Lago, until a special master could be appointed to provide review oversight.

As part of U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon’s special master ruling, she noted Trump was “being deprived of potentially significant personal documents, which alone creates a real harm.”

The order also specifically warned against government agents weaponizing leaks to sway public opinion and damage Trump.

“Plaintiff faces an unquantifiable potential harm by way of improper disclosure of sensitive information to the public,” Cannon wrote.

The judge’s special master order also provided a remarkably accurate foreshadowing of the fear-and-smear tactics being deployed by Deep State agents, a leftist media and an autocrat-in-chief to spin a narrative that damages Trump.

“As the Richey court wrote, ‘a wrongful indictment is no laughing matter; it often works a grievous, irreparable injury to the person indicted,’” Cannon noted in her ruling.

Not to be outdone by the Washington Post in scaremongering and disinformation peddling, MSNBC’s Joy Reid speculated that Trump had classified documents that could be linked to the murders of American spies.

“You know, while all of this is happening, we know that in 2021, there was a rash of deaths of American spies,” Reid told viewers. “They were being caught. They were being killed. Because this is a very real and exigent circumstance. And the CIA has admitted to that now.

“We are not saying that we know that there is some connection between the purloined documents and those events,” she said, “but they did happen at a time when Trump did have custody of some really sensitive information that he shouldn’t have had.”

Judge Cannon’s reasoning for a special master to guard against leaks again proved prescient.

“The stigma cannot be easily erased,” she wrote about damaging leaks designed to sway public opinion.

“In the public mind, the blot on a man’s escutcheon, resulting from such a public accusation of wrongdoing, is seldom wiped out by a subsequent judgment of not guilty. Frequently, the public remembers the accusation, and still suspects guilt, even after an acquittal.”

The Biden administration and its lackeys in the leftist media are betting on it.
