(John Ransom, Headline USA) It’s been a bad few weeks for the family of Rep. Liz Cheney.
After being censured by Republicans at the state and local level for her participation in the Democrat J6 committee, new revelations came out last week that her husband’s firm has been lobbying for the Chinese communists, even as Cheney, R-Wyo., delivered rebukes of questionable sincerity to China on human rights abuses.
Then over the weekend it was revealed that Cheney’s husband’s firm, Latham & Watkins, also has a conflict of interest in the ongoing Russia hoax investigation conducted by special prosecutor John Durham that alleges that the Hillary Clinton campaign used at least one paid operative, Michael Sussmann, to spy on the Trump White House, internet and computers.
Let this sink in, Liz Cheney’s husband is a partner at Latham & Watkins. This firm has represented companies connected to China’s military. The firm was identified as having clients connected to the spying on the Trump White House. Get it now? D.C is a criminal enterprise- RICO

“The revelations made as part of a motion for the Washington, D.C., federal court to look into possible conflicts of interest related to Sussmann’s defense team [of Latham & Watkins], gave allies of Trump more reason to believe the former president was spied upon,” reported the Washington Times.
Latham & Watkins conflict stems from the fact that they have already represented several clients under investigation for the Russia hoax, including the Clinton Campaign and Hillary for America, and now also represents Sussman, a paid operative of the Clinton gang when he allegedly spied on the White House.
“Durham might offer evidence at trial he obtained from the Clinton Campaign and Hillary for America,” reported Techno Fog on Substack. “And because certain employees of the Clinton Campaign and Hillary for America might be witnesses at Sussmann’s trial.”
At some point or another it’s likely that one Latham & Watkins client in the case will say something that is detrimental to another client of Latham & Watkins, thus creating the conflict.
The background details in the Durham motion said that Sussman used a tech executive with a company that had access to White House internet traffic under a government contract to monitor Trump internet traffic to build a false narrative of collusion between Trump and Russia on the 2016 election, according to Fox News.
No one is alleging that Cheney’s husband has done anything illegal. But facing a tough reelection campaign back in Wyoming, it’s hardly ideal for Cheney to have to explain to the folks back home why her husband’s firm seems to be so anxious to defend Chinese communists and left-wing domestic spies.
Latham & Watkins also represents Hunter Biden.
