Carlson Hilariously Mocks Pence as ‘5-Yr-Old’ After ‘RINO’ Smackdown

'You don't feel good when you beat your five-year-old in soccer or ping pong...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a summit hosted by Turning Point USA, renowned television host Tucker Carlson took the stage to discuss his interview with former Vice President Mike Pence, which received widespread attention.

Pence faced a barrage of criticism after stating that the challenges facing America were not his concern, during his conversation with Carlson about his support for providing weapons to Ukraine.

Addressing the viral interview during a Florida speech on Sunday, Carlson stated, “I don’t want to attack anyone on personal grounds or by name. It’s tempting. I will say it’s tempting. Whoever said, ‘Do it,’ you’re the devil on my shoulder.” The audience erupted in cheers, chanting, “Do it, do it,” to which Carlson responded, “No! No!”

However, Carlson went on to provide general observations about Pence rather than directly criticizing him, stating, “But if I could make some general observations, which I think are more edifying than just like savaging Mike Pence… Which I’m not going to do. Because that would be wrong. And it would be wrong because it’s too easy. And the easy things are not rewarding, are they? You don’t feel good when you beat your 5-year-old in soccer or ping pong.”

Carlson’s new speech offered insights into his thoughts on the GOP presidential nomination candidates, most of whom he interviewed last week.

Prominent Republican leaders celebrated Carlson’s scathing rebuke of Pence and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, both of whom are considered RINOs (Republicans In Name Only).

In his interviews, Carlson pressed Pence on his support for Ukraine amid the Russian war, arguing that U.S. involvement in the conflict neglected the pressing issues faced by Americans. Carlson confronted Pence, saying, “You are distressed that the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks. Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There is not one city that has gotten better in the United States, and it’s visible.” Pence’s dismissive response, “It’s not my concern,” sparked a flurry of reactions.

Hutchinson also faced scrutiny from Carlson. The television host questioned the former governor about his endorsement of radical gender ideology for children.

Carlson asked, “If you have a child who says he was born a boy and wants to become a girl, and he hasn’t gone through puberty yet, say at the age of 10, is it treatment to prevent him from going through the natural process of adolescence? How is that treatment? It seems not like treatment; it seems like something else.”

In a defiant response, Hutchinson stated, “Tucker, I hope we’ll be able to talk about sensitive issues.”
