(John McCann, Headline USA) Globalist Microsoft founder Bill Gates called on the world’s wealthy nations to come together and allow the World Health Organization to oversee a special health surveillance task force in order to prevent future pandemics.
Gates has warned that a “even more fatal” variant of coronavirus could be on the way and that we must prepare, according to Breitbart.

The billionaire tech giant and climate activist warned that the risk of an “even more transmissive and even more fatal” strain was “way above five per cent.”
He pushed for WHO to oversee a coordinated response unit, which the Seattle-based oligarch has dubbed the Global Epidemic Response and Mobilization (GERM) team.
In Gates’s view, the WHO is the only international body capable of building and managing an effective GERM team.
The cost of running such a program would amount to around $1 billion a year, and Gates is hoping an international consensus can be reached to cover the expense.
Gates claimed the investment was worth the heavy cost and that, despite global tensions, it could be achieved.
“The amount of money involved is very small compared to the benefit and it will be a test: can global institutions take on new responsibilities in an excellent way, even in a time period where U.S.–China [relations are] tough, U.S.–Russia is extremely tough?” he said.
However, critics of the tech billionaire have argued that if he wants to fund the WHO so badly, he has more than enough funds to do it himself.
Dear Bill Gates: No one is stopping you from donating directly to the WHO. In fact, here’s the link by which you can do so: https://t.co/7C4rQ9V6cd How many of your billions in wealth would you like to contribute? https://t.co/7C4rQ9V6cd

With tensions rising between the West and Russia due to the war in Ukraine, and China’s growing sphere of influence to the east, consensus may be a hard thing to find right now.
Moreover, due to of the ongoing war in Ukraine, as well as rising inflation and fuel prices, COVID-19 has been put on the back-burner as Western governments seek to manage the new economic and geo-political crises.
Gates’s hopes for a global effort to monitor future COVID variants may not be shared by many millions of people who have grown weary of restrictions and mandates.
To many, there are far more pressing concerns, and if Gates is so adamant about disease prevention, he should throw his own considerable funds at the problem. Instead of asking global taxpayers to foot the bill.
