Biden’s Energy Sec. Tells Country to Suck It Up on Energy ‘Transition’

'Transition? What they are really talking about is a degradation in lifestyle and lives supported ... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Former Michigan governor and current Biden administration energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, told Americans to get over higher energy costs so that she and other elites can orchestrate a national transition to “green” energy, Twitchy reported.

Granholm declared that Biden is researching every available option to lower energy costs, with the exception of allowing nuclear energy or fossil fuels, which he doesn’t like.

“The bottom line is that this president and this administration are looking at every single tool to shield American families from the impact of rising energy prices,” she said.

The career politician claimed that this could be achieved only be intrusive government-sponsored research and experimentation.

She also acted as if the so-called “energy transition” is not the result of intentionally crafted policies emerging from Democrat-heavy federal bureaucracies.

“We’re working through an energy transition, and we’ve got to start by adding energy.”

Though Granholm and her friends will undoubtedly weather the transition just fine, normal Americans will likely suffer. Her response to high prices was that her American subjects simply have to get over it, as the government forces itself even further into the energy sector.

“The reality is that we have to take some time to get off of oil and gas,” she said.

Granholm ended her remarks by doubling-down on her “transition” point.

“We have got to recognize that this is a transition,” she concluded.

Many outraged Americans took to twitter to express their frustration.

“Check on the energy contained in the U.S. consumption of oil and gas and let me know how many windmills that is,” one person tweeted.

“Transition? What they are really talking about is a degradation in lifestyle and lives supported.”
