(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Apparently satisfied with America’s southern border immigration crisis, President Joe Biden and his administration want to send Border Patrol agents to assist Ukraine.
According to a memo sent to all Border Patrol field operations, the federal government is looking for volunteers to assist in Ukraine, reported Breitbart.
“The Office of Field Operations is seeking volunteers to assist with the possible evacuation of U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and their immediate family members from Ukraine,” the memo said.
Those volunteers would be sent to Poland, where they would help United States citizens return to America in the wake of the Russia invasion.
“Eligible employees who volunteer for this situation may be selected to serve a temporary duty assignment in Poland to facilitate travelers for entry into the U.S., to include providing guidance and problems resolution to other government agencies.”
Volunteers, according to the memo, will deploy in two to three days, expecting to be gone overseas for about one month.
Strangely, the administration insisted on recruiting Border Patrol volunteers in the wake of the unprecedented border crisis.
The memo also insisted that the volunteers be in compliance with COVID jab rules.
“As a mission necessity and to avoid post-arrival quarantine, volunteers must be able to provide a negative PCR test taken within 24 hours of arrival and meet one of the following conditions: fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccination.”
According to the Biden administration, the volunteers will have to work long hours and weekends, with little relief.
“Once deployed employees are expected to perform all assigned duties and may be required to work irregular shifts and schedules, up to seven days per week including holidays and weekends.”
