(John Ransom, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s penchant for doing or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time was on full display again at a speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, reported the New York Post.
As the speech ended, Biden turned to his right side with his hand outstretched to shake somebody’s hand, but there was no one on the stage with him. At least no one the rest of us could see outside of our imagination.

During the same speech, Biden also falsely claimed he was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania and appeared to argue cantankerously with a professor in attendance.

Biden was made an honorary professor after helping open the Penn Biden Center, a Washington, DC-based policy institute affiliated with the school that was funded largely through the generosity of anonymous Chinese donors.
The confusion echoed a similar moment earlier in the month when former President Barack Obama visited the White House.
As crowds of people flocked to Obama at the White House, Biden stood around looking confused about what he was supposed to do.
First he wandered off to his left, where he stopped and made an empathetic gesture because nobody was there to talk to him. Then he abruptly turned around, took a few steps towards Obama, pondered the situation, and turned around looking confused again about who he was supposed to talk to.
Left-wing “fact-checkers” such as Reuters subsequently claimed he was seeking out Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who, in a longer cut, does appear shortly thereafter to rescue the disoriented president.
Biden was also filmed during the Obama speech digging into his pocket to pull out some sort of a wrapped candy, unwrapping it, and putting it in his mouth, which seemed a little indelicate on video.
And at another point in the clip, Obama appeared to ignore him as he tapped his former boss on the shoulder, leading some to speculate that Obama was expressing his open contempt for Biden.
Then of course Biden has a history of doing things that look kind of goofy on video.
In October, 2020, at the height of the presidential campaign, Biden was filmed by CNN video during a speech given by his wife Jill Biden, walking back-and-forth across the back of the stage with a mask on, again looking like he was lost and out of touch, according to the video at this tweet.

This is appropriate in some ways, because lost and out of touch, unfortunately, is one way people are describing Biden’s presidency.
