(Cynthia Zayn, Headline USA) The Left’s decision to put abortion front and center in its 2022 campaign platform has come into conflict with some of its other “intersectional” voting identities.
Already, Democrats have been under fire for throwing the transgender community under the bus.
And last week, an effort to smear the Supreme Court’s conservative, male justices went awry, fueling new complaints of Islamaphobia from the Muslim commuinty, Legal Insurrection reported.

Leftists had been claiming that the term “pregnant woman” was unfair, and should be replaced with the phrase “birthing person.”
But following the leak of a Supreme Court draft in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health—which potentially might overturn the court’s nearly 50-year-old federal abortion mandate—they quickly pivoted back to “women’s rights” rhetoric, stealthily scrubbing transgender “men” from the birthing picture.
Not to be outdone, they also insulted a core Democrat constituency that remains steadfastly opposed to both women’s and LGBT rights: fundamentalist Muslims.
A graphic posted on Twitter by left-wing journalist David Cay Johnston depicted the six current male Supreme Court justices dressed in their traditional black robes, with the three current female justices wearing burkas.
But the outraged reaction from his own side was not what he had anticipated.
Among the critics was none other than Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
This is Islamophobic.
American Justices or lawmakers advancing U.S laws subjecting women to the cruelty of Christian extremism doctrine has nothing to do with Muslims.
Leave us out of it.

Other extremists on the Left were equally disdainful.

Some even attacked Johnston, a fellow leftist, personally.

After receiving backlash, Johnston quickly deleted it but posted a statement defending himself by claiming it was only a joke.
“Many commenting here miss the point of this political art” he claimed.
“Its not about Islam,” he continued. “It’s about nominally Christian justices who don’t get the 14th or 19th Amendments and cite a witch hunter in the draft opinion.”
But the cancel-culture masses already had spoken and could not be placated.
This isn’t brilliant political art. It’s bigoted racist deflection. Stop blaming Muslims or Islam for America’s right wing pseudo-Christian extremism. Own this yourself. And stop demonizing Muslim women.

Since the Dobbs draft was leaked, various left-wing protesters have rioted outside the homes of conservative justices.
In response, Justice Clarence Thomas stated, “We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want.”
Meanwhile, Chief Justice John Roberts noted, “A leak of this stature is absolutely appalling. If the person behind it thinks that it will affect our work, that’s just foolish.”
The leaker is widely rumored to be a clerk in the office of far-left Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
