(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Marine Corps. veteran Joey Jones, who lost his legs in Afghanistan, called President Joe Biden “disgraceful” for claiming that his son, Beau Biden, “lost his life in Iraq,” Twitchy reported.
At an event declaring the Camp Hale Continental Divide a national monument, Biden said Beau, a National Guard veteran, was killed on military duty.
President @JoeBiden incorrectly said his late son Beau “lost his life in Iraq.” https://t.co/oZ9GRyRjcI pic.twitter.com/8OvjbQgUaT

Beau died at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2015, six years after he returned from his deployment to a combat zone in Iraq.
Glioblastoma caused Beau’s death, and Biden believes that toxins from burn pits on military bases caused the cancer.
The disease’s connection to unsafe conditions in Iraq has led some people to state that Biden told the truth, but Jones said the president must distinguish between active-duty military deaths and soldiers who die at home from war-related complications.
My friend Dave was blown up in Afghanistan. He lost both legs and had several lingering injuries. 5 years after his injury he died from a heart attack. Doctors believe it was a blood clot. If Dave wasn’t “Killed In Action.” Beau Biden certainly didn’t “die in Iraq”. Disgraceful! https://t.co/T6e1k7ZGve

Other Twitter users said Biden does not have enough evidence to claim that Beau died from conditions in Iraq.
My sister-in-law never left the US, she died in 2021 of the same type of GBM. So did George Gershwin, Gene Siskel, Tug McGraw, & Ted Kennedy who weren’t around burn pits. It’s affects 14K ppl a year & kills 95% within 5yrs. Who knows how ppl get it.

Biden made the same claim last month during a speech at the White House.
“A lot of people, like [Beau], had their hooch just probably 300, 500 yards from those pits, Biden said. “You could smell it. You could inhale it. Well, guess what? These poisonous fumes just came — people came home with headaches, numbness, dizziness, cancer,”
Jones said he has not seen independent research to demonstrate that burn pits cause glioblastoma.
These are illnesses Congress has agreed to compensate vets for under the presumption of possible connection to service. A result of lobbying. Feel free to show independent medical science and conclusive research showing burn pits are a known, or even common cause of glioblastoma. https://t.co/6Zx8hLRLPM
