Bank of America has instituted a racial reeducation system that teaches white people to “decolonize [their] mind[s]” and “cede power to people of color,” according to City Journal.
“BOA executives launched the initiative by encouraging employees to participate in their ‘Racial Equity 21-Day Challenge,’ a race-training program funded in part by the bank and built on the principles of critical race theory, including intersectionality, white privilege, white fragility, and systemic racism,” wrote investigative journalist Chris Rufo.
Later, Bank of America teaches that the policing system was founded on white supremacist “slave patrols” and, according to activists, can be solved through “the defunding and even the abolishment of the police.” pic.twitter.com/bxIKlrn4T4

The reeducation seminar teaches BofA employees about Critical Race Theory, concepts such as white privilege,” “white fragility,” “microaggressions,” “racial trauma” and defunding the police, ostensibly to help combat the largely white, Anglo–Saxon education that they got in school when growing up.
For example, the materials teach that the police in America have been modeled in the system that was used by “slave patrols whose task was to capture, control, and brutalized enslaved people.”
One of the key tenets of the program holds that black people can’t be racist in any way because racism is used to justify the position of the dominant group … and to uphold white supremacy and superiority,” said the New York Post.
“Reverse racism and discrimination are not possible given the history of oppression and power structures that have been core to the making of this country,” according to documents from the training.
In addition to BofA, program participants and sponsors included: Truist Financial Corporation, Lowe’s, Ally Financial, Atrium Health, Duke Energy, McGuireWoods, Ernst & Young, First National Bank, Gambrell Foundation, Grant Thornton and the Knight Foundation.
“When you do CRT training, you are playing a large role in ripping America apart,” Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union, told Fox News.
Such trainings “make white, straight Christian male employees apologize for being white, straight, male and Christian,” he said.
