(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Proving, yet again, that it’s a near certain disaster waiting to happen every time Vice President Kamala Harris opens her mouth to speak in public, she let slip a flub at the DNC winter meeting so egregious that the White House was forced to edit her remarks.
Why the Biden administration insists on setting up the cupcakes and cackles Veep for failure is a mystery, but she was at it again when she somehow managed to announce to the world that she apparently thinks Ukraine is part of NATO and that America is ready to defend it as such.

The Doomsday Clock can almost be heard ticking down, while even Harris looked distressingly stunned at her own incompetence.
And when it comes to holding forth with general, unprepared vapidity, no one does it better than Harris, as she displayed an equally befuddled grasp on domestic issues as on international ones during her jaunt last week overseas.
REPORTER: “How long should Americans expect — how long should we be bracing for — this historic inflation and some unprecedented gas prices?”

In any event, after Harris let her ignorance on NATO alliances slip, the White House scrambled at damage control before Tsar Vlad was able to use her misguided declaration as yet another pretense to escalate Russian war efforts.

Fortunately, President Joe Biden has a firm grip on the Ukrainian situation and his policy of sanctions are right on target.
Well, kind of; maybe, or at least possibly.
“I would say that when we put in place the threat of sanctions and the threat of consequences,” White House mouthpiece Jen Psaki told reporters. “We never thought that would be fail-proof, or that would be 100 percent effective.”
