(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) A whistleblower has claimed to have proof that the FBI infiltrated the Proud Boys prior to the January 6, 2021, “Stop the Steal” riots and knew that they were innocent of conspiracy to enter the Capitol and disrupt proceedings, according to a report from Gateway Pundit.
Gateway Pundit’s source is described as someone “familiar” with an FBI “Confidential Human Source” named James Ehren Knowles, who allegedly infiltrated the Kansas City Proud Boys at least year before the events of Jan. 6.
The source provided Gateway Pundit with a “treasure trove” of documents according to which the undercover informant told the FBI that the KC Proud Boys — several of whom have been charged by the Department of Justice — did not conspire to enter the Capitol and only intended to participate in the rally.
“[The KC Proud Boys] were not involved in, nor did they inspire the breaking of the barriers at the Capitol building,” the FBI transcript reads. “CHS describe the scene as the crowd doing it as a ‘herd mentality,’ and that it was not organized.”
The Proud Boys’ main purpose in attending the rally, according to the documents, was to protect Trump supporters from Antifa foot soldiers who they believed would be present in D.C.
“The KCPB attending the 1/6/2021 rally discussed reports that Antifa was going to be dressed in plain clothes like Trump supporters,” the informant told the FBI. “The KCPB believed they were attending the rally on 1/6/2021 to prevent Antifa from attacking Trump supporters.”
Gateway Pundit also reported that the informant was texting his handlers during the events of Jan. 6, and that his evidence, although exculpatory, was used by the Department of Justice to concoct its indictments.
“The Department of Injustice has proven that they will stop at nothing to crush innocent and ordinary American Citizens like ants to fulfill their agenda,” Tina Ryan of Citizens Against Political Persecution told Gateway Pundit. “To them, Trump Supporters are collateral damage.”
