Twitter Censors ‘Groomer’ after Pressure from Far-Left Media Matters

'The platform continues to allow content promoting the offensive and flagrantly false accusation that LGBTQ people are attempting to sexually exploit children...'

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Twitter suspended the account of anti-woke intellectual James Lindsay for using the phrase “ok, groomer” in response to a pressure campaign from left-wing activists, according to a report from Post Millenial.

Twitter was pressured into action after George Soros-funded propaganda outfit Media Matters published a long-winded complaint about the use of the term “groomer.”

The term has been widely embraced by conservative critics to describe activist efforts to indoctrinate children to the LGBT agenda while exposing them to sexual content in public-school classrooms and other children’s programming.

It generally connotes pedophilic motives as the underlying basis for their campaign, leading others on the sexual-deviancy spectrum to have their feelings hurt.

“The platform continues to allow content promoting the offensive and flagrantly false accusation that LGBTQ people are attempting to sexually exploit children—a conspiracy theory with deeply rooted anti-gay and anti-trans origins—to spread unchecked,” Media Matters wrote.

Once typical example mentioned by the article had Lindsay responding “ok groomer” to an LGBT activist legislator and former teacher who tweeted her excitement over a Rhode Island bill that would bring “comprehensive, queer inclusive, pleasure based sex ed” into public school classrooms.

In a statement given to Daily Dot, Twitter bent the knee before their woke overlords.

“Use of this term is prohibited under our Hateful Conduct policy when it is used as a descriptor, in context of discussion of gender identity,” wrote Lauren Alexander, Twitter’s health product communications lead.

Lindsay, a 40-something political commentator with a Ph.D in mathematics, first rose to Internet fame after duping the peer-reviewed journal Cogent Social Sciences, into publishing a jargon-filled hoax paper titled “The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct.”

Since then, Lindsay co-authored a book attacking the intellectual foundations of what he calls “Critical Social Justice,” and founded New Discourses, an online “home for the politically homeless” that publishes, among other things, critiques of “activist scholarship.”

Twitter’s push wasn’t the only movement from online leftist snowflakes to cancel the criticism against them.

The user-driven message-board Reddit also announced its intention to ban the term in its LGBT-critical context.

Conservatives responded with derision, pointing to examples of blatant groomerdom and predation online, many of them compiled by the site Libs of TikTok, which Twitter also banned.

Social-media watchdog Twitchy compiled several examples:
