Trump Comforts Grieving Gold Star Mom Who Got in Biden’s Face

"U then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son..."

Although former President Donald Trump may not be getting the treatment of a duly elected leader, there is little doubt for Shana Chappell who the true comforter-in-chief is.

The non-ironic application of that label to Joe Biden in the face of one mishandled, self-inflicted catastrophe after another and equally callous response has led many to cringe.

Every indication is that after getting caught repeatedly checking his watch at a solemn ceremony Sunday for 13 fallen US service members, Biden’s meetings with the Gold Star families went even worse.

But Trump stepped into the task with a moving statement that expressed his compassion and solidarity for Chappell and other the families of the Kabul suicide bombing.

Chappell, the mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, first got attention after her incendiary—yet heartfelt—posts resulted in a ban on Facebook and Instagram, the Gateway Pundit reported.

After public outrage led to her being reinstated, she [posted a poignant, albeit profanity-laced letter in which she relayed her sickening exchange with Biden at the ceremony on Sunday.

“…You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how i feel and i let you know that you don’t know how i feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how i feel! U then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son and that was the only reason why, i then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him again etc… u turned to walk away and i let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me like you were saying “ ok whatever!!!”

Chappell also promised to visit Biden again in the near future—to protest.

You will be seeing me again very soon!!! Btw as my son and the rest of our fallen Heros were being taken off the plane yesterday i watched you disrespect us all 5 different times by checking your watch!!! What the f*** was so important that you had to keep looking at your watch????You are nobody special Biden!!! America Hates you!!!!!

Trump issued his own statement in response to the open letter, saying everything to her that Biden failed to say.

Shana, you are 100% correct. If I were President, your wonderful and beautiful son Kareem would be with you now, and so would the sons and daughters of others, including all of those who died in the vicious Kabul airport attack. Civilians should have been brought out first, along with our $85 billion of equipment, with the Military coming out very safely after all was clear. I love you, and I love Kareem.

Chappell’s account is one of several stories emerging from the ceremony that reveals some of the parents’ anguish—and their willingness to convey it to Biden in no uncertain terms.

Mark Schmitz, the father of Lance Cpl Jared Schmitz, told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that he also had confronted Biden during the awkward meeting.

Another parent, Darin Hoover, the father of Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, refused to meet with the president.

And Kathy McCollum, the mother of Rylee McCollum, called into a radio show with some choice words for Biden.
