In his most recent power grab, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that unvaccinated Canadians will not be permitted to travel by land, air or sea without subjecting themselves to an extensive quarantine, according to a Justice Centre report.
Trudeau suggested several months ago that such bans “are absolutely unequivocal” because “this is how we get through this pandemic.”
Leftists in the United States have long envied Canada, longing to implement similarly extreme regulations in the name of public health.
Despite having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, the prime minister remains in a state of panic.
According to the travel restriction, “Mandatory quarantine requirements for unvaccinated travellers without COVID-19 symptoms arriving in Canada by land, air or water.”
The government demands that each quarantine last for two full weeks, meaning that to travel anywhere by any means of transportation requires a 14-day waiting period before engaging in normal life.
Trudeau’s absurd announcement angered conservatives in Canada.
Some argued that the new orders create different classes of citizenship.
“Canada’s vaccine passports, and the creation of first-class and second-class citizenship, are founded on Neil Ferguson’s demonstrably false claim that Covid is an unusually deadly killer,” said John Carpay, president of the Justice Centre.
Carpay further claimed that the vaccine remains experimental, and has not been verified by properly rigorous testing.
“The government is seeking to have 100% of Canadians injected with the experimental mRNA vaccine, which has not been subjected to any long-term testing on humans,” he added.
Allison Pejovic, Justice Centre staff lawyer, pointed to the fact that the vaccination does not slow the spread of the virus.
“Medical reports and scientific studies make it clear that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people spread Covid-19. There is no scientific basis for turning unvaccinated Canadians into second-class citizens,” she stated.
