Fake News Hypes Trump ‘Walk Out’ over Piers Morgan Interview

'I'm always asked if I'd interview Trump & I always say he'd just walk out on me... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Already scrambling to dissemble their recently-confirmed complicity in abetting the Biden presidential campaign by peddling disinformation and spinning and suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story, the leftist mainstream media once again has pounced on fake news and promoted it to malign former President Donald Trump.

And once again, establishment media is left trying to explain away its transgressions.

Pushing publicity for his new show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, the warthog of slag journalism on Wednesday afternoon hyped a promotional clip that “seemed to show Trump flying off the handle and walking out mid-interview as a righteous Morgan asked him tough questions about his views on the 2020 election,” according to Breitbart.

The trailer darkly claimed that Trump is a “former president in denial,” and promised “the most explosive interview of the year.”

A quick series of clips showed Trump calling Morgan “a fool” and “very dishonest,” ending with Trump saying “let’s finish up the interview,” and showing him standing up and walking away, saying “turn the camera off.”

That served as the perfect launching pad for the alt-left media to fire off stories about a crazed, unhinged Orange Man Bad throwing a tantrum.

The Washington Post splashed a headline that declared “Trump walks out of explosive Piers Morgan interview after being pressed on 2020 election.”

“I’m always asked if I’d interview Trump & I always say he’d just walk out on me. As he does here, with his pal Piers Morgan,” bleated MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan.

“So ironic, Trump walking out on Morgan because he’s upset, given Morgan walked out on his colleagues because he was upset. Snowflakes, all of them.”

Even Politico jumped on the dogpile, sharing “the fake Trump video too, reporting it as real,” tweeted Human Event’s Jack Posobiec.

Wait, what? Fake Trump video, reporting it as real?

Piers Morgan, like the rest of the Fake News Media, attempted to unlawfully and deceptively edit his long and tedious interview with me,” Trump said in a statement.

“He wanted to make it look like I walked out on the interview when my time limit of 20 minutes went over by an hour.

“The good news is that the interview was taped by us as a means of keeping him honest.”

Breitbart News confirmed the exculpatory and damming audio, writing that “Audio provided by former President Donald Trump’s team to Breitbart News of the end of Trump’s interview with Piers Morgan proves that Morgan and his team deceptively edited the interview to make it appear as though it was a contentious ending when it was not.”

Trump defended the final product, unedited, saying the “interview was actually very strong on the 2020 Election Fraud, with me calling him ‘a fool’ if he truly believed those results.

“The evidence is massive and irrefutable (check out True the Vote and the Dinesh D’Souza documentary, which will all be coming out soon),” Trump continued. “For those who want to make Piers look bad, compare his video promo and how it was doctored to the real thing. Hopefully they will now be doing some big changes to their final product.

“It just shows, however, what I have to deal with in the Fake News Media,” Trump said. “He went out of his way to deceptively edit an interview and got caught. That is a big story, isn’t it?”

Size, in this case, probably doesn’t matter. No matter how big or credible a story, if it doesn’t fit the preferred narrative of the leftist mainstream media, it will be distorted, twisted and buried deep like a rotting bone.
