Pelosi’s Gestapo Closes Capitol over Nats’ Pre-Game Parachuters

'Every single person in USCP leadership should be fired. Including Pelosi... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In a stunning display of ineptitude that could have led to deadly consequences, government enforcement agencies on Wednesday night erroneously set the U.S. Capitol on high alert, igniting wide-scale panic that saw congressional staffers evacuating the legislative building.

The mayhem was in response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s U.S. Capitol Police identifying an aircraft that they said posed “a probable threat” and issuing an alert that triggered the evacuation.

The chaos was misplaced, however, when it was learned that the aircraft in question was the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights’ parachute demonstration into the Washington Nationals’ baseball stadium.

This would be the same Capitol Police, of course, that oversaw the Jan. 6 protests and ongoing lockdown of the Capitol grounds, and is currently set to receive a nearly 20-percent budget hike.

That would be the same Capitol Police that Pelosi, a Democrat, used to spy on members of Congress, including doing background checks on members of the public who meet with lawmakers, and covertly searching a congressional office allegedly to spy on a congressman.

Pelosi wasted no time to congratulate the Capitol Police for keeping the peace after setting D.C. on high alert and people scrambling in terror and panic.

“Today, and every day, our Congressional community is extraordinarily grateful for the heroism of our United States Capitol Police officers,” Pelosi said in a statement.

“In ordering the evacuation of the Capitol and vigilantly monitoring for a potential aircraft threat, our officers ensured the safety of all who work in these hallowed halls – and we thank them for their exemplary service.”

Not everyone was so complimentary, while others questioned Pelosi’s and her security force’s claims.

“Fox is told there be some (sic) questions asked about what prompted USCP to evacuate the Capitol when NORAD was not concerned,” reported Chad Pergram.

“This is not supposed to happen,” said one senior Capitol security official to Fox. “This looks bad.”

“Every single person in USCP leadership should be fired. Including Pelosi,” tweeted the Federalist’s Sean Davis.

Looking for somewhere to place the blame outside the purview of her Capitol force, Pelosi lashed the incompetence of the Federal Aviation Administration, whose “apparent failure to notify Capitol Police of the pre-planned flyover Nationals Stadium is outrageous and inexcusable.”

In line with the leftist dictum to never let a crisis go to waste, Pelosi couldn’t help serving up a self-serving partisan reference to the Democrat altar of Jan. 6.

“The unnecessary panic caused by this apparent negligence was particularly harmful for Members, staff and institutional workers still grappling with the trauma of the attack on their workplace on January 6th.”
