(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Singer Macy Gray said Monday on Piers Morgan Uncensored that a biological male cannot become a woman “just because” he changed his “parts,” BizPacReview reported.
“Just because you go and change your parts doesn’t make you a woman, sorry,” Gray told host Piers Morgan in response to a question about transgender women in women’s sports.
After the candid discussion with Morgan, Gray apologized to the LGBTQ mob in a Thursday interview on Today, repeating the trite apologies that often accompany celebrity submissions to the mob, VanityFair reported.
“I’ve learned a lot through this,” she told host Hoda Kotb.
“Being a woman is a vibe and it’s something I’m very proud of and something that it is very precious to me. I think that if you in your heart feel that’s what you are, then that’s what you are regardless of what anybody says or thinks.”
While chatting with Morgan, Gray seemed resolved to defend womanhood against male impostors.
She said that she expected people to “hate [her] for saying this” but that she knows that women are women “for a fact.”
“If you want me to call you a her, I will, because that’s what you want but that doesn’t make you a woman just because I call you a her and just because you got a surgery,” she told Morgan.
Morgan asked if Gray could define what a woman is because America’s elites have refused to answer the question.
“I would say a human being with boobs,” she said. “How about you start there? And a vagina.”
J.K. Rowling, who suffered the mob’s reprisals for stating that men cannot become women, joked about Gray’s impending cancellation due to her comments.
