Warhawk Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., gave an erratic interview on Fox News, suggesting that America should break out its nuclear arsenal to address Russia’s dealings with the Ukraine.

When pressed on the issue, Wicker suggested the use of nuclear weapons to deal with Putin and the Russians.
“We don’t rule out first use nuclear action,” Wicker said with apparent enthusiasm.
He also claimed that, if Putin continues to fail to listen to America and its nation-building leaders, we should “reign destruction on Russian military capability.”
Further still, Wicker did not hesitate to commit thousands of American soldiers to fighting off the perceived Russian threat.
“I would not rule out American troops on the ground,” he said, emphasizing the need to slow Russia’s advance.
Tulsi Gabbard joined Tucker Carlson later on, and was shocked about Wicker’s plan.

“Anyone who would propose or even consider what he is saying as an option must be insane, a sociopath, or a sadist,” Gabbard said of the warmongering Wicker.
“It would start a war that would destroy the American people, our country, and the world,” she warned.
She also emphasized the unfortunate fact that Wicker is not an outlier in the Senate, which seems to have a flair for sending young men to die for “democracy.”
“He’s the number two Republican on the Armed Services Committee,” she said, suggesting that most Democrats and establishment Republicans seem to wish to go to war.
Gabbard also pointed to the establishment’s warhawking allies in the mainstream media, most of whom appear to support the rhetoric coming from DC.
