Secret Service Lets Biden Roam Records-free in Delaware

'Obviously the Secret Service knows and tracks who is visiting President Biden at his homes in Delaware and they are playing a shell game with the public... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) The Secret Service has somehow failed to keep records of President Joe Biden’s visitors when he takes his expensive taxpayer-funded and all-too-common trips Delaware, according to a report in the New York Post.

The Post requested Biden’s visitor log records, but a Secret Service officer told the paper that the records did not seem to exist.

“The Secret Service FOIA Office searched all Program Offices that were likely to contain potentially responsive records, and no records were located,” Secret Service Freedom of Information Act officer Kevin Tyrrell told the Post.

Because Rip Van Biden has spent an inordinate amount of time slumbering in Delaware woodlands, many transparency groups have sought information regarding who might have visited the near-octogenarian president.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and Judicial Watch have attempted to access such records, with limited success.

“I have not seen any reporting that there is a ton of official business and outside meetings being done when Biden goes to his personal residence in Delaware for the weekend, mainly just going to church,” CREW spokesperson Jordan Libowitz told the Post.

“If he were meeting with foreign heads of state at his house in Delaware, that would obviously be a different matter, though.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton was more skeptical.

“Obviously the Secret Service knows and tracks who is visiting President Biden at his homes in Delaware and they are playing a shell game with the public to keep that information secret,” he said.

When asked about Biden’s visitors in a January press conference, White House press secretary Jen Psaki vacillated.

“Well, the President goes to Delaware because it’s his home,” Psaki said. “And it’s also where his son and his former wife are buried . . . close to his heart.”
