Sean Penn Considers Taking Up Arms in Ukraine

'Because I was at the gas station in Brentwood the other day and I’m now thinking about taking up arms against Russia?... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Actor, activist, and aspiring soldier Sean Penn said that he is strongly considering taking up arms to fight for Ukraine, Breitbart reported.

Penn, who has play-acted as a soldier before, seems to be confusing the movies with reality. Penn said that he has been considering arming himself in recent days in order to stop the evil Vladimir Putin from expanding his empire.

“If you’ve been in Ukraine [fighting] has to cross your mind. And you kind of think what century is this?” Penn said.

“Because I was at the gas station in Brentwood the other day and I’m now thinking about taking up arms against Russia? What the f*** is going on?”

He also noted that he wants to test himself in war, because acting is pretending to be in danger while in fact being quite safe.

“If you have seen war, and I’ve seen a little bit of it, there’s a rite of passage while you are in or near it that has to do with some basic questions you ask yourself: how would I react?”

His main plan would apparently be to keep oxygen running to his brain, in order to make him brave.

“Could I keep enough oxygen in my brain to make clear judgments? Are you going to be damaged by being in a war, emotionally or psychologically?” he said.

He concluded by wondering whether or not he possesses the courage necessary to be a soldier.

“I think that there is a certain part of my own pursuits that is influenced by those questions that on some level demand answering.”

As might be expected, Penn has spent the last two months warmongering in the name of democratic dreams.

“Ukraine is the tip of the spear for the democratic embrace of dreams,” he eloquently wrote. “If we allow it to fight alone, our soul as American is lost.”
