(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump’s former press secretary, Sarah Sanders, and pro-liberty America First warrior Marjorie Taylor Greene scored YUGE wins in Tuesday primaries.
Sanders, who Trump endorsed early in the process, cruised to a landslide win in the Arkansas gubernatorial race and likely secured a general election win in the deep-red state to succeed term-limited Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson, reported the New York Post.
Running a campaign that focused on fighting woke indoctrination, promoting conservative values and economic development, Sanders can step into her father’s old shoes, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, with a win in November.
“We have to do a better job and that starts at the basic level — making sure we’re actually educating, not indoctrinating our kids, we are empowering parents, not government bureaucrats, and that we are preparing kids for the workforce — not a lifetime of government dependency,” she told KATV over the weekend.
Sen. John Boozman notched another Trump-endorsement win in Arkansas, with help from Sanders, who rallied for Boozman, according to Newsmax.
“I know John Boozman as a champion of President Trump’s America-First agenda,” Sanders said in one campaign ad.
In a particularly MAGA-sweet victory in Georgia, which might have eased some of Trump’s sting from two earlier setbacks, Greene stormed to a resounding win, despite repeated attacks by a rad-left media and being stripped by House Democrats of her committee assignments.
Greene’s victory struck a decidedly strong rebuke to Democrat lawfare elections fixer Marc Elias, who was a leading instigator behind efforts to keep Greene off the ballot.
“Sending me back to Washington will send a message to the bloodsucking establishment: It is we who will set the policy agenda for the next decade and not them,” Greene said in her victory speech, according to US News.
Greene pulled no punches, calling her Democrat opponent, Marcus Flowers, a leftist “grifter.”
“This district doesn’t support Democrat communism,” she said. “This district doesn’t support the failing Democrat agenda that’s ruining this country.
“We’re going to start speaking the truth more forcefully and more loudly than ever before.”
That echoed the tone Greene set in a tweet after the mass shooting tragedy in Texas.
“It’s time for an American Revival,” she wrote.
“A revival of our country, church, and our mindset.”
It’s time for an American Revival.
A revival of our country, church, and our mindset.
The hard working people of America have been abused for too long by our corrupt government, told what to think by our arrogant media, & led astray by our evil culture.
It’s time.
