Ray Epps Exposed, Claims He ‘Orchestrated’ J6 Chaos

'I was in the front with a few others. I also orchestrated it... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Ray Epps, the infamous potential FBI informant who infiltrated the January 6th peaceful rally and helped turn it into a mob, told Congressional investigators that he believed that the Capitol building was open to the public on the day of the rally.

Congress recently released the transcript from his prior interview last January, according to the Daily Wire.

When asked whether he believed that the Capitol would be open on the day of the rally, Epps responded: “yes.”

Video footage from that day and the day prior show him urging people to “go into the Capitol.”

When they asked why he believed the Capitol would be open to the general public, he responded that “it was a weekday.”

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, RINO-Ill., asked Epps what he thought when people at the rally began chanting, calling him a federal agent.

“I don’t think I thought about it at the time,” he responded.

Epps called the speculation regarding his involvement with the FBI “crazy”, suggesting that such theories advanced by many on the right made life “really, really difficult.”

Yet according to Defiant America’s review of official J6 documents and transcripts, on the afternoon of Jan. 6, Ray Epps texted his nephew about the events at the Capitol, boasting that, “I was in the front with a few others. I also orchestrated it.”

But Epps denied having any connection to any DC organizations.

“The only time I’ve been involved with the government was when I was a Marine in the United States Marine Corps,” he said.

Epps also lied under oath regarding texts associated with the J6 uprising.

He also claimed that he only attended in order to accompany his son and keep him safe.

“My wife found out that Jim was going, and she insisted that I go because there was a lot of hype,” Epps said, per the New York Post. “There was a lot of stuff going on at the time, so she was worried for his safety, and so we decided to make arrangements so that I could be there.”

Epps’ comments do not fit with his lawyer’s earlier statements, in which he declined to articulate his client’s connections to governmental organizations.

Per an Epoch Times report, “asked whether Epps is an asset for any government agency—law enforcement, intelligence, or otherwise—Blischak said, ‘Not to my knowledge.'”

In front of Congress, Epps also claimed that he tried to deescalate the situation as people entered the Capitol on the 6th.

“I just looked around, and I was sick. There was a lot of tear gas, a lot of bad stuff going on,” he testified.

Despite the new damning evidence, or maybe because of it, the Left has systematically tried to suppress the Epps story, suggesting that there is something about it that they find deeply concerning.
