Rachel Maddow Speaks Glowingly of ‘Talented’ Rival Tucker Carlson

'It’s so offensive... '

(Chris ParkerHeadline USA) In a surprising twist, gay far-Left MSNBC commentator Rachel Maddow recently praised Fox News conservative personality Tucker Carlson for his talent.

“Tucker’s doing great right now,” Maddow said during an interview, according to Variety.

“But look at Tucker’s career. The first show I worked on was his 11 o’clock show on MSNBC that nobody remembers. But he was always kicking around the business and has always been talented. It just — this turned out to be his moment.”

Carlson helped Maddow start her career as a commentator nearly 20 years ago during his former late night show. To that end, she seemed to still see him as a mentor or source of inspiration, despite disagreeing with his political views.

“If you think about baseball players, who are extremely competitive and who are fighting to win and who have rivalries, and some of those rivalries are bitter rivalries, that doesn’t mean you don’t study the pitching technique of their star pitcher,” Maddow added.

The interview followed Maddow’s announcement that she would be taking a hiatus from MSNBC. She attributed the need for some time away to a few other projects that she’s working on. She also discussed a recent run-in with Carlson, saying “it was really nice to see him.”

Maddow made it clear that she doesn’t agree with Carlson’s views, but she also doesn’t seem to hate him for them. Still, that wasn’t enough to satisfy the Left’s ire.

Scores of liberals were quick to attack Maddow for her glowing compliment of Carlson’s talent. Her comments were a “giant middle finger to anyone who’s been watching her, believing she was leading a fight against The Right,” said far-left attorney Aharon Schrieber in a Tweet.

“It’s so offensive. She’s part of the same club as Tucker is. The rest of us are not. Elitism at its finest. Gross.”
