(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Michael Avenatti, porn star Stormy Daniels’s former lawyer, said that the hush money case being brought against former President Donald Trump by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is weak.
“There are many critical facts and pieces of evidence (texts, emails, etc.) relating to the hush money scandal that have yet to see the light of day,” he wrote. “At this point, you simply can’t build a case on the testimony of Cohen & Daniels.”
There are many critical facts and pieces of evidence (texts, emails, etc.) relating to the hush money scandal that have yet to see the light of day. And they will unfortunately be very damaging to the prosecution if Trump stands trial. At this point, you simply can’t build a case…

Avenatti explained why Cohen was a problem for the Daniels’s case on Twitter.
“Atty Joe Tacopina is no Rudy Giuliani/Sydney Powell,” he wrote. “The guy knows his way around a criminal courtroom. He will destroy Michael ‘Dumb as a Box of Rocks’ Cohen on the stand, esp. seeing as Cohen publicly lied for 15 mos. and now won’t stop talking on TV. #terriblewitness.”
Ryan Fournier, the founder of Students for Trump, pointed out the importance of the story.
“When Michael Avenatti is calling the case against Trump bullshit, you know you lost,” he wrote.
Tim Young, a comedian and editor of The National Mouth, agreed.
“It’s a bad sign for the left when even Michael Avenatti is saying the case against Trump is weak and will fail…,” he tweeted.
Comedian Chris Rock did not weigh in on the credibility of the case, but called the Left stupid for bringing it.
“Do you know this is only going to make him more popular,” he said. “It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?”
Rock also made a joke at the expense of President Trump.
“[Trump] f—ing a porn star and paid off someone so his wife couldn’t find out. That’s romantic,” Rock joked. “We’ve all been cheated on. Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?”
Bragg, the Manhattan DA, though aware of the details of the case, appears to be undeterred. He sent an email to his staff assuring them of their safety on Sunday.
