(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Federal law enforcement officials arrested 29-year-old Philadelphia Deputy Sheriff Samir Ahmad on Thursday after he was caught on video selling firearms that were used in a fatal school shooting by an illegal alien.
Ahmad, who became a part of the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office in February 2018, sold two handguns and ammunition to a confidential informant from the FBI, according to the Daily Wire.
An informant for the FBI paid Ahmad $3,000 for the firearms and told him that he was an illegal in America, which he said meant he would be “deported” if he was caught with the guns.
“You don’t got to worry about none of that,” Ahmad said.
Ahmad was fired and arrested by the FBI after the exchange. He was charged with firearms trafficking and selling firearms to a person illegally in the U.S. If convicted, he will spend up to 15 years in prison.

Both of the firearms that the disgraced deputy sheriff allegedly sold were found to have been used in the Roxborough shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy and injured four other teens, Fox29 reported.
U.S. Attorney Romero said that a sworn law enforcement officer who abuses his power should be investigated and prosecuted.
“The defendant was allegedly illegally selling firearms on the street to at least one person who was not permitted to possess them, adding fuel to the already-incendiary fire of deadly gun violence in the City of Philadelphia,” U.S. Attorney Romero.
“Working with our law enforcement partners, we are doing all that we can to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the violence.”
Jacqueline Maguire, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia Division, said that the authorities will do everything in their power to take the guns off the streets.
“The idea of a sworn public servant so blatantly undermining public safety is reprehensible,” she said. “Philadelphia is awash in illegal guns, which are being used to commit violent crimes, so every weapon we can take off the street and every trafficker we can lock up makes a difference.”
“The FBI and our partners will continue to do everything in our power to make this city safer,” she added.
Eric Degree, Acting Special Agent in charge of ATF’s Philadelphia Field Division, agreed with Maguire.
“The result of this investigation is the paradigm of collaboration between our local, state and federal partners,” he said.
“We cannot let the gun violence we are seeing become the norm. We will continue to use our expertise to identify, investigate and incarcerate those who commit and those who facilitate the violent firearm crimes that plague our streets.”
