Kari Lake Thanks Liz Cheney for Campaign Contribution

'Thank you for your generous in-kind contribution to my campaign... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Arizona governor candidate Republican Kari Lake showed once again this week why the mainstream media and leftist Democrats consider her dangerous, and it has nothing to do with their wild warnings of insurrection.

Lake provided a slam-dunk response on Friday when lame duck Rep. Liz Cheney, RINO-Wyo., funneled $500,000 into an attack ad for Lake’s opponent, Democrat Katie Hobbs, who is floundering in the polls and running from debates with Lake.

“I don’t know that I have ever voted for a Democrat. But if I lived in Arizona, I absolutely would,” Cheney declared in the ad, claiming that Lake was a threat to democracy because she dared question the dubious results of the 2020 election.

In a swipe worthy of her former media chops, Lake took Cheney’s ad and spun it to her own advantage.

“Thank you for your generous in-kind contribution to my campaign,” Lake wrote in a message to voter-retired Cheney. “Your recent television ad urging Arizonans not to vote for me is doing just the opposite.

“Our campaign donations are skyrocketing and our website nearly crashed from traffic as people rushed to learn more about my plan to put Arizona First and join our historic political movement.”

The deft deflection of Cheney’s hit job came on the heels of Lake earlier this week excoriating fake news media for shamelessly pushing disinformation that Lake was somehow tied to an attack of Hobbs’s campaign office. The charge was as specious as Cheney’s claims that Lake posed a threat to democracy.

The threat Lake really poses is not to democracy, but to Democrats, and it’s becoming increasingly evident in her poll numbers and at every media and public appearance she makes.

The latest Fox Phoenix Insider Advantage poll showed Lake opening a 10-point lead over Hobbs.

Lake has become popular to the extent that she’s even using her messaging to promote other pro-liberty candidates who, like herself, are surging in the polls and eyeing midterm upsets.

Cheney’s half-million-dollar attack ad was funded by The Great Task PAC, Cheney’s racket to line pockets creating wild election-denying conspiracies and spewing claims of saving democracy while using its loot to meddle in elections.

To that end, it backfired epically.

“Thank you again for the huge boost to our campaign!” Lake wrote in her note to Cheney, jabbing that “my team tells me your commercial should add another 10 points to our lead!

“I guess that’s why they call the Cheney anti-endorsement the gift that keeps on giving,” Lake added. “Enjoy your forced retirement from politics. I know America will rest easier knowing that one more warmonger is out of office.”
