(John Ransom, Headline USA) The mainstream media is reporting that the White House diarist said in testimony that fewer documents and records came to the diarist “just days” before the January 6 riot, according to CNN.
The implication is that the White House was trying to cover up President Trump’s activities from the diary in the days leading up to January 6, as if Trump was busy planning a riot.
Using hedge words and anonymous sources, the media has begun to call the alleged lack of information for the White House diarist a “gap’” just as they did with the Trump calls logs, which story was later recanted by much of the mainstream media.
“Was it intentional?” one source asked about a supposed black-out of Trump information sent to the diarist, according to CNN.
“You can only keep track of something when you know what’s going on. When people don’t share things with you, whether that was intentional and who decided that, I think it’s a little murky at this point,” the anonymous source added.
A 3+hour gap in the Presidential Daily Diary (PDD) the afternoon of J6. The PDD monitors “actions” President made to include calls made/received thru WH operator or cell calls. This is in addition to the 7+hour gap in the WH call logs. https://t.co/ibfQ3uExUH

But it’s not murky enough to stop the mainstream media from reporting those anonymous conversations from people inside the J6 committee, people who are uniformly opposed to Trump, and create another story about a “gap” of information that the sources call “murky.”
One segment on the diary that appeared on CBS News, also called the missing information a “gap” and explained what “the gaps might mean,” said the call-out from the CBS YouTube video of the segment.
Not surprisingly, CBS News White House reporter Bo Erickson could only offer-up supposition and suspicion that Trump did something wrong.
The new allegations about improper recordkeeping comes just one day after CNN, The Hill and the Washington Post reported that the mainstream media reporting about a supposed 7-hour gap in the Trump phone records was wrong.
An analysis of the records and a better understanding of how those records were compiled showed that the White House phone logs were complete, according to CNN- the same media organization that is reporting on the supposed gap in the White House diary.
“The people we know he spoke with on the phone are all of the calls that were logged,” admitted the Washington Post about the debunked call log gap.
“We also learned that Trump’s executive assistant was out most of the day, perhaps contributing to unrecorded conversations,” the Post added.
