(Headline USA) The elderly Joe Biden arrived in Nevada late Friday for more rest and relaxation in his second vacation this month.
Biden is renting a private home on Lake Tahoe, the massive alpine lake that abuts California and Nevada and is a tourist attraction, particularly in the winter for its ski resorts.
Biden flew there from Camp David.
The home in the Glenbrook community belongs to Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor.
Steyer is an investor, climate activist and Democratic donor. He ran for president in 2020.
The Bidens will spend about a week in the activist’s house.
Biden vacationed earlier this month at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Biden is joined on his second August vacation by Hunter, so, don’t be surprised if an untraceable bag of cocaine shows up somewhere in Taho.
The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that in a faceoff, Trump has 41% support compared to Biden’s 44% support, while 15% remain unsure.
DeSantis does slightly better, with 41% support to Biden’s 43% and 16% unsure.
The poll’s margin of error is 2.4%, making either matchup a relative toss-up 15 months out from the general election.
“What’s interesting about the hypothetical matchups between Trump and Biden or Biden versus DeSantis is that there is actually no real meaningful demographic or psychographic difference between the two Republicans,” Mike Noble, founder of Noble Predictive Insights, the group that conducted the poll, told The Center Square.
Illustration by Kate Guenther | The Center Square
“The takeaway really is that [general election] voters see Trump and DeSantis interchangeably, and I don’t think that was really the case six months ago,” he added. “Voters are less seeing a difference between Trump and DeSantis.”
Noble said Desantis lost a “slight edge” of a 2 to 4 percentage-point lead over Biden in the past six months as Trump’s attacks on the Florida governor took effect. At the same time, the several recent indictments against Trump actually helped propel him with Republican voters.
This poll comes the same week that a Georgia grand jury indicted Trump for his alleged role in trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. That indictment, Trump’s fourth, is the latest in a string of legal challenges that could weaken his support, turn his campaign season into a string of court dates, and possibly even put him in prison before the 2024 election.
“In the primary, shockingly enough, [the indictments] have caused a rally around the flag for Trump in the GOP because, with this many folks in the race, it is so hard to get traction,” Noble said. “Nikki Haley has been at 4% since she announced four months ago, and she is typically considered a credible candidate.”
Noble said the indictments have benefited Trump early in the primary campaign but are “likely to be a liability” in the general.
If Trump’s legal woes somehow end up sinking his chances, the polling shows DeSantis could perform just as well – or potentially better – against Biden.
As of now, according to the poll, Trump is dominating the Republican field with less than a week before the first GOP presidential primary debate, scheduled for Wednesday in Milwaukee.
The survey found that 53% of surveyed Republicans picked Trump, followed by 18% naming DeSantis. Former Vice President Mike Pence and entrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy came in at third and fourth place with 7% and 6% support, respectively.
U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tied for fifth place at 4% support each.
In a theoretical Republican primary head-to-head matchup where respondents are forced to pick between either Trump or DeSantis, 63% chose Trump and 37% chose DeSantis.
Male and female support for the respective Republican primary candidates largely follows the general population’s overall support. Trump has 53% support among men and women, and DeSantis has 18% support among each group as well.
Scott does better with men than women, earning 6% and 3% support, respectively. Haley does better with women than men, with 5% and 4% support in each category.
Pence does better with women as well, with 8% support compared to 5% support from men.
Ramaswamy performs better with men, earning 7% support compared to 4% support from women.
Trump’s support among Hispanic Republicans outpaces his support overall in the field of GOP primary candidates. The survey found that Trump has 62% support among Hispanics. DeSantis has 17% support among the same group.
Trump’s legal troubles have not hurt him as much as some may expect. Noble said that is likely because Biden’s own legal troubles have “muddied the waters.” An ongoing investigation into Biden and his son Hunter Biden has turned up more evidence to back up allegations that the Biden family and associates took about $20 million from overseas entities, even in adversarial countries like Russia and China.
“Trump’s number just hasn’t really moved very much in the general election because he is just so incredibly defined, and most folks have made up their opinion on him,” Noble said.
“But what is interesting is that with the head-to-head matchup, why you are not seeing as much movement [is] because … Biden himself is running into some legal issues as well, and I think that’s muddying the waters in a general election matchup.”
The poll was conducted by Noble Predictive Insights from July 31 to Aug. 3. Unlike traditional national polls, with their limited respondent count of about 1,000, Noble Predictive surveyed 1,000 Republican registered voters, 1,000 Democratic voters, and 500 Independents, culminating in a comprehensive sample size of 2,500. The margin of error for the aggregate sample was ±2.4%, with each political group independently weighted. The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that Biden would coast to victory over declared candidates attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and writer and speaker Marianne Williamson.
Democratic voters would pick Biden (68%) over Kennedy Jr. (16%), with the remaining undecided. Similarly, voters would pick the incumbent (67%) over Williamson (9%), according to the poll of 2,500 registered voters.
The prospects for the declared challengers are low.
“They have an uphill battle and their chances are looking pretty slim right now,” said Mike Noble, founder and CEO of Noble Predictive Insights.

Biden would defeat a handful of hypothetical candidates who have not declared and are unlikely to do so as well. He’d have no trouble beating former New York City Gov. Bill de Blasio (9%) or Minnesota U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (10%).
The incumbent would have narrower but still decisive victories if he had to face Vice President Kamala Harris (26%), California Gov. Gavin Newsom (25%), U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (30%) or former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (34%).
But Michelle Obama (48%) would have more support than Biden (36%) if she jumped into the race. The wife of former President Barack Obama has strong support from women, people younger than 55, moderate Democrats, voters without kids, and voters with children younger than 18, according to the poll.

“Biden is pretty safe in the Democratic primary,” Noble said. “However, he’d better make sure Michelle Obama is on his Christmas card list.”
Biden does have some weaknesses, including with 18- to 34-year-olds, Democrats in the southwest and voters who say crime is out of control, according to the poll.
Voters also would like to see Biden debate his challengers. In fact, 64% want a debate, polling shows. Support for a debate is stronger among Democrats (68%) than Republicans and independents (both 62%). Even more surprisingly, voters who already support Biden are the ones who want a debate the most.
In every hypothetical Democratic matchup, voters who want to see Biden debate are at least, if not more, likely to support Biden than Democrats overall.
The Democratic National Committee has already decided not to sponsor any primary debates ahead of the 2024 election.

Earlier poll results in The Center Square Voters’ Voices Poll indicate GOP frontrunners former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would be locked in tight races with Biden and that Biden is largely underwater with voters in a number of key descriptors.
(Brett Rowland, The Center Square) Attorneys for President Donald Trump argued prosecutors’ proposed schedule in his Washington D.C. case will interfere with his Florida case and amounts to “gamesmanship by a partisan Department of Justice.”
Trump faces 40 felony counts in Florida over his handling of classified documents after leaving the White House. That case is set to go to trial on May 20, 2024. Prosecutors have proposed a Jan. 2, 2024, trial date for the Washington D.C. case. In that case, Trump faces four felony counts related to allegations he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“The Special Counsel’s strategy asking for a schedule in the D.C. Case that culminates in a proposed trial date of January 2, 2024, is not merely gamesmanship by a partisan Department of Justice, it is a miscarriage of justice,” Trump’s attorney wrote in a notice to U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon. “Moreover, it is in no way consistent with the directives set out in the Department of Justice Manual, which encourages all Department employees to, ‘promote the reasoned exercise of prosecutorial authority and contribute to the fair, evenhanded administration of the federal criminal laws.'”
In the Washington D.C. case, Trump’s attorneys have asked for a trial in April 2026, long after the 2024 presidential race.
Trump’s lawyers, Christopher Kise and Todd Blanche, said special counsel’s Jack Smith’s office, which is prosecuting both cases, proposed the January trial date in the Washington D.C. case knowing the “multitude of complicated practical issues surrounding President Trump’s schedule.”
Trump’s schedule includes a six-week trial beginning in October 2023 by the New York Attorney General against Trump and his companies, a contested primary for the Republican nomination and preparation for a March 25, 2024 criminal trial in New York over allegations he paid hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
“The Special Counsel’s actions appear to be intentionally motivated to prevent President Trump from meaningfully preparing for either trial and to simultaneously prevent him from running a campaign for President of the United States,” Trump’s attorneys wrote.
In New York, Trump pleaded not guilty in April to 34 felony counts related to charges he paid hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels through a lawyer before the 2016 presidential election and covered it up as a legal expense before being elected president. That state case is set to go to trial in late March 2024, about three weeks after Super Tuesday, when more than a dozen states vote in the March 5 primary.
In Georgia, Trump was indicted for the fourth time on Monday night on charges related to the 2020 election in Georgia.
Trump has repeatedly said the charges in Georgia, New York, Washington D.C. and Florida amount to election interference. He has denied wrongdoing.
(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) Last month, I met a recent Ivy League graduate who devotes his computer-science skills to a Silicon Valley enterprise.
He is bright, creative, and speaks perfect English with just a splash of a British accent. He wants nothing more than to thrive in the tech sector and, consequently, make America rich again.
Alas, this young man failed to score an H-1B visa when Customs and Immigration Services awarded them by lottery on March 27. Among 483,927 registrants, 85,000 received visas. But not him.
So, any day now, the Biden administration will take this highly educated, productive son of our closest ally and deport him. Back to Britain he will go—with his American dreams delayed or destroyed.
Meanwhile, in bitter contrast to this Englishman’s rejection, illegal aliens savor concierge service as they invade, overrun, and occupy America.
Three machine-gun-toting cartel members waltzed across the Tex–Mex frontier, near Eagle Pass, on Aug. 5. The Border Patrol chased them, but they got away. These thugs are armed, deadly, and could be plotting evil, anywhere in America.
Some 200 illegal aliens stormed the border crossing at Brownsville, Texas, on Aug. 8. Rather than wait patiently, they swamped Border Patrol officers, breached the checkpoint, and dashed into the interior. Who are they? Where are they? Who knows?
Over 100,000 illegal aliens have overpowered New York City since last spring. They clog the sidewalks outside and rooms inside the previously venerable Roosevelt Hotel, where bandleader Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians dazzled radio listeners with “Auld Lang Syne” on many New Year’s Eves.
Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has converted soccer fields on Randall’s Island (in the East River) into a giant shelter for 2,000 illegals. Taxpayers starved for recreation and teenagers seeking team sports, rather than trouble, are out of luck.
This facility will cost $20 million per month or $10,000 for each illegal alien, every month. How many American citizens receive a staggering $120,000 in annualized welfare?
Madrid-based Marca.com estimated an average American’s yearly public assistance:
$13,200 in housing subsidies
$8,346 in Medicaid
$234.42 in Food Stamps
$7,404 in Supplemental Security Income
$418 for Temporary Assistance to Needy Families
$2,411 in Earned Income Tax Credits
This totals $32,112.42. At least on Randall’s Island, foreign citizens who barged into America cost taxpayers 373.7% of that amount.
This is repulsive.
All told, Mayor Adams reckons that babysitting these illegals will cost Gotham’s exhausted taxpayers $12 billion by 2025. The long-term financial burden for these criminals is incalculable and excruciating.
While illegal aliens enjoy boutique hotels, low-income New Yorkers endure government-housing projects. Rather than room service, they get rats and roaches. Instead of maid service, the New York City Housing Authority’s 528,105 tenants stomach $78 billion in deferred maintenance.
Meanwhile, according to Customs and Border Protection, 144,571 illegals invaded America in June. Border Patrol agents apprehended 1,782,615 illegals during President Donald J. Trump’s final 29 months in power. In Biden’s first 29 months, they encountered an outrageous 5,606,785 illegals — up a calamitous 315%.
Comparing the plight of these pampered illegals and the legal, but spurned, H-1B lottery loser, America clearly has devolved into Upside-downia.
So, this modest proposal might begin to turn America back into Right-Side-Upistan:
Grant H-1B visas to all applicants with employers ready to hire them. Then, deport just as many illegal aliens whose first act in America violated federal law by breaking in with neither papers nor permission.
The United States would harness the diligence, energy, and innovation of these legal aliens and unleash desperately needed justice upon an equal number of taxpayer-sucking illegals who invaded America.
In short: Boot the illegal aliens. And may a million H-1Bs bloom.

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s candid remarks have stirred controversy and ignited a flurry of reactions from critics about the foreign policy of former President Donald Trump.
During a press conference on Friday, the President fielded inquiries from reporters related to a trilateral summit with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. When asked about his stance on foreign policy, particularly concerning the “America First” approach advocated by his predecessor, Biden didn’t mince words about his opposition.
“First of all, look. There’s not much, if anything, I agree on with my predecessor on foreign policy,” Biden claimed, in response to the AP reporter.
The president added, “America First policy, walking away from the rest of the world, has made us weaker, not stronger. America is strong with our allies and our alliances, and that’s why we will endure, and it’s a strength that, quite frankly, that increases all our three nations.”
Biden also claimed his administration is making what he called institutional changes in how countries deal with each other.
“This is just about one summit,” Biden continued. “What makes today different is it actually launches a series of initiatives that are actually institutional changes in how we deal with one another — in security cooperation, economic cooperation, technology cooperation, development cooperation, consultation exercises.”
However, Biden’s remarks did not go unnoticed by proponents of the “America First” doctrine as critics were quick to voice their discontent.
On social media platforms and in public statements, figures such as Jack Posoviec expressed their disapproval of the President’s remarks, labeling him as anti-American and out of touch with the nation’s interests. “And there it is, folks,’ Posobiec said in a tweet.
Similarly, popular X (formerly Twitter) page “ProudElephant” reacted to the video with a fiery caption. “Could this guy get any dumber?” the social media page said. Christian Collins, the founder of Texas Youth Summitt, echoed the criticism, saying, “Biden is nothing more than a globalist puppet.”
The video’s circulation even extended to media personalities like podcast host Anthony Cumia, who vehemently criticized the president’s words. “This guy is a demented piece of s**t,” Cumia stated.
The same AP reporter pressed Biden about the contentious appointment of a special counsel to investigate his son’s business dealings. Biden claimed he had no comment about the scathing developments of the federal investigation.
Biden’s full press conference can be watched below:
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika has dismissed tax misdemeanor charges on Thursday against Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son who remains at the center of a scandal.
Noreika’s decision follows the request of federal prosecutors leading the criminal investigation into the younger Biden. The move also comes after Attorney General Merrick Garland approved a request to appoint U.S. District Attorney David Weiss, the prosecutor leading the probe, as special counsel.
According to the New York Post, the possibility of new charges remain even after the cases were dropped. This follows the collapse of an agreement between Hunter Biden’s legal team and his father’s DOJ.
The dispute revolved around the specifics of the deal and whether it would shield Hunter from potential charges related to past actions. When pressed by Judge Noreika, prosecutors had mentioned the potential for other charges tied to the Foreign Agents Registration Act, causing Hunter’s lawyer to declare the agreement “null and void.”
Notably, Hunter Biden’s former lawyer, Chris Clark, stated that the deal fell apart due to these newly suggested charges, as stated by the New York Post. Democrat lawyer Abbe Lowell took over the case and did not contest the dismissal.
Additionally, the judge rejected a request from the Republican-led House Ways and Means Committee to unveil specific documents connected to the case.
The New York Timesreported on Friday, through the The Daily Podcast, that it is possible that Hunter is seeking full immunity from prosecution if President Joe Biden loses re-election in the 2024 election.
Donald Trump, the leading Republican contender for president, has voiced his intent to unleash the DOJ to fully and properly investigate the damning allegations embroiling the Biden family, including a reported $10 million bribery scandal.
Weiss’s new role as special counsel him the power to file charges in districts outside Delaware. As told by IRS whistleblowers, Weiss had internally voiced concerns about the DOJ blocking his ability to prosecute the younger Biden in California or Washington, D.C., where Hunter had resided.
It is unclear when the newly appointed special counsel would press charges, if any at all, against the first son.
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The CIA is currently facing legal scrutiny as conservative group Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), concerning the alleged involvement of the federal agency in covering up the Hunter Biden laptop scandal amid the 2020 presidential election.
The lawsuit revolves around the CIA’s Prepublication Classification Review Board (PCRB) and its handling of a letter endorsed by 51 former intelligence officials, which wrongly labeled the laptop revelations as a “Russian disinformation campaign.”
In a press release on August 17, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton torched what he called a “Deep State” for seekingto protect President Joe Biden.
“The Deep State CIA, it seems, engaged in election interference and a political operation against the American people to help Joe Biden and hurt Trump,“ Fitton said. “And now the CIA is ignoring FOIA law to cover up its role in the scandal, censoring and suppressing the Hunter Biden/Joe Biden laptop story just before the presidential election.”
This legal action comes after the CIA failed to respond to a FOIA request seeking documents and communications related to the PCRB’s involvement in the younger Biden’s laptop saga.
Judicial Watch asserts that the CIA received the noteworthy letter on October 19, 2020, just three days before the second presidential debate between then-President Donald Trump and presidential candidate Joe Biden.
According to information from Judicial Watch, Jordan and Turner conveyed these concerns in a letter addressed to CIA Director William Burns. “The Committees have reason to believe additional documents remain in the possession of the CIA,” Jordan and Turner said in the letter dated May 16, 2023.
These Republican lawmakers cited testimony from former CIA employee David Cariens, who alleged that the CIA might have been involved in procuring signatures for the aforementioned letter.
Cariens stated, “The person asked me if I would be willing to sign… I agreed to sign.” These allegations raise questions about the agency’s impartiality and transparency, particularly in the lead-up to a critical election.
The first source, a confirmed high-level TSA official, said that the news about the new lockdowns currently being orchestrated by the Biden administration is true, citing a Tuesday meeting in which TSA managers were told new memorandums & policies that would reimplement masking are almost complete, Infowars reported.
The same source noted that the reimplementation of mask mandates will start with TSA and airport employees as early as mid-September.
The TSA official also added that they will receive new guidelines next week on how the policy will escalate, adding that pilots, flight staff, passengers and airport patrons will be required to wear a face mask by mid-October.
In addition to hearing from the TSA manager, Infowars also reached out to another manager — this time from Border Patrol — who also confirmed that the same directives were being given to Border Patrol.
It was not a matter of “if” but “when” official COVID-19 numbers will go back up, both sources said, adding that they expect forced-making policies to return by mid-October after the Biden administration previously only reluctantly ended the mask mandates after massive pressure.
Both whistleblowers said that they were informed that this rollout will be in tandem with the new COVID-19 “variant” hysteria that the corrupt mainstream media has been reporting on this week.
This new rollout’s timing is perfect for the Biden administration to further divide and confuse the public by putting the country back in a state of civil emergency and even martial law so that the corrupt officials would be able to steal the 2024 election, Infowars said.
“This is an example of policy being guided not by science and data, but rather by fear and control. Lockdowns have devastating impacts on mental health, the economy and general well-being,” one X user wrote in response to the story.
“Implementing such drastic measures again must be met with vigorous scrutiny and opposition. People must have their voices heard in these critical matters, and no one supports these mandates,” he added.
(Casey Harper, The Center Square) Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden with Hispanic voters in a potential general election faceoff.
The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that Trump, frontrunner by far in the GOP primary despite facing dozens of felony charges from four criminal investigations, leads Biden by five points with Hispanic voters.
“I think it is pretty interesting that Trump has made some inroads with Hispanic Latinos that the GOP hasn’t really been able to do over the past few decades,” Mike Noble, founder of Noble Predictive Insights, told The Center Square.
“That coalition should absolutely be with Biden, so the fact that Trump has a five-point edge with that group is telling,” he added.
The same poll found Trump’s support among Hispanics outpaces his support overall in the primary. The survey found that Trump has 62% support among Hispanics in the GOP primary field. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has 17% support among Hispanics in the Republican primary.
Hispanic voters are a key demographic in several swing states, including the hotly contested Arizona, which is nearly a third Hispanic, according to U.S. Census data.
In an overall faceoff, Trump has 41% support compared to Biden’s 44% support while the rest remain unsure. The poll has a margin of error of ±2.4%.
Biden holds a significant lead among Black voters, a key demographic in several swing states.
Biden has 67% support from Black voters compared to 10% support for Trump. Trump, though, does not need to match Biden’s support in this category to beat him, only erode it enough to narrow the gap in some key swing states.
Noble pointed out that about a quarter of Black voters report being unsure between Biden and Trump, possibly providing an opportunity for the Trump campaign.
“Being at 10%, that is about what they should be at, a Republican,” Noble said. “But .. that 23% [are unsure], if they capture half of that, that could make an impact.”
Among women, 48% support Biden, 37% support Trump and 14% are unsure. Among men, 45% support Trump, 39% support Biden, and 16% are unsure.
Trump holds a major lead over his opponents for the Republican primary. The survey found that 53% of surveyed Republicans named Trump as their top choice, followed by 18% who picked DeSantis. Former Vice President and entrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy came in at third and fourth place with 7% and 6% support respectively.
Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tied for fifth place at 4% support.
The poll was conducted by Noble Predictive Insights from July 31 to Aug. 3.
