Say it Ain’t So, Elon! Twitter to Bring Back Mass Banning, Collect Biometric Data

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Elon Musk changed Twitter’s official name to X, but the company seems to be reverting to its pre-Musk censorship and banning policies.

Twitter announced on Thursday a slew of impending changes to the social media platform, including the right to ban users for “commercial inviability”—in other words, the company will kick users off the platform if they post messages that upset advertisers.

The company also updated its privacy policies that will allow for the collection of biometric data and employment history, among other information.

The platform’s new privacy policy, which goes into effect Sept. 29, tells users that based “on your consent, we may collect and use your biometric information for safety, security, and identification purposes.” It does not say what biometric information will be collected. Biometric data can refer to fingerprints, facial recognition and the like.

Along with the seemingly negative news, Musk said Thursday that his social network will give users the ability to make voice and video calls on the platform.

However, Musk has a history of making proclamations about coming features and policies that have not always come to fruition. For example, he said cracking down on child porn would be his number-one priority, but Headline USA has reported on the fact that a porn-laden account from a convicted pedophile that is still online—even after this publication notified Twitter about it.

Musk did not say when the features would be available to users.

Twitter’s return to censorship and mass banning seems to have been spurred by the hiring of World Economic Forum crony Linda Yaccarino as new Twitter CEO.

The renewed censorship crackdown extended to Headline USA. When this reporter posted a photo in June of the charred corpse of tax protestor Gordon Kahl—who the FBI killed and conflagrated 40 years ago—Twitter had it removed.

Headline USA appealed the decision, explaining that the picture was posted for journalistic reasons—it’s the same photo used in this story—but Twitter maintained its decision.

Is Bill Gates Responsible for Massachusetts West Nile Outbreak?

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) With COVID losing its grip over the public imagination, leftist states are turning to the West Nile Virus in order to stoke fear, the National Pulse reported.

Specifically, Massachusetts’s Department of Health has announced that two residents of the deep-blue state have contracted the disease: one, a 70-something woman who caught the disease on an out-of-state trip; and two, a 40-year-old man who may have caught the disease in the greater Boston area.

According to Massachusetts Public Health Commissioner Robert Goldstein, West Nile Virus is particularly dangerous this year for Massachusetts residents.

“Populations of mosquitoes that can carry and spread this virus are fairly large this year, and we have seen recent increases in the number of WNV-positive mosquito samples from multiple parts of the Commonwealth,” Goldstein noted.

The West Nile Virus, however unpleasant it may be, is not particularly deadly. Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention admits that only 1 out of 5 who contract the virus to begin with experience any symptoms.

A mere 1 out of every 150 who contract the virus develops a serious illness.

Despite the general ease with which people handle the virus, the corporate media has gone out of its way to stoke panic.

CBS Boston, for example, ran a headline describing one the most extreme case wherein a man a decade ago had to go on a ventilator for over a year as a result of the virus.

The man who had the “chronic West Nile Virus,” however, noted that he was able to curb the virus’s effects by getting in better shape.

“I realized the exercise styles, and being thin, were the only things that could save me,” Charles Atkinson, who contracted the virus, concluded.

Left-wing panicmongering and the obesity risk factor may not be the only commonalities that the virus has with COVID-19, however. Both outbreaks may raise questions about whether the origin is organic or lab based.

Just as billionaire Bill Gates demonstrated an uncanny amount of prescience ahead of the COVID pandemic, even sponsoring the Event 201 pandemic planning seminar a month ahead of it, Gates has expressed a similar fascination with mosquito-borne illnesses such as malaria.

He controversially released a jar full of mosquitoes into the room during a 2009 TEDTalk.

Gates also has been active in the funding of malaria vaccines, some of which involve delivery via genetically modified mosquitoes.

“We use the mosquitoes like they’re 1,000 small flying syringes,” said Dr. Sean Murphy, a physician and scientist with the University of Washington, Seattle, according to a 2022 NPR report.

The Biden administration even approved a plan for Gates to release some 4 billion genetically modified mosquitoes in Florida and California in April 2022.

Just two months later, health officials in California reported upticks in several reported viruses, including malaria, monkeypox and swine flu, although it is unclear whether June “Pride” month celebrations may have been a contributing factor.

Many—black Americans in particular—remain wary of vaccines due to secretive military biowarfare experiments involving the surreptitious release of mosquitoes that took place in the 1950s.

Amid considerable resistance to the COVID-19 vaccines—some of which related to concerns over clotting and myocarditis in otherwise healthy individuals that have yet to be scientifically disproven—Gates and his globalist researchers revealed they were looking into airborne and insect-borne methods that could crop-dust cities and force citizens to involuntarily inhale gene-altering chemicals.

“If this effort succeeds, it would give globalists a way to air drop mRNA instructions on entire populations in exactly the same way farmers spray fields with insecticides,” wrote Natural News in August 2022.

Biden DOJ Jails 5 Pro-Life Supporters, Seeks 11-Year Sentences, $350K Fines

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) While consistently giving passes to violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa protestors for endangering lives and destroying cities, the Biden Justice Department this week had five peaceful pro-life supporters thrown in jail, where one remains behind bars as they await sentencing of up to 11 years in prison and fines of $350,000.

Prosecutors arguing on behalf of the pro-abortion Biden administration said the five pro-life protestors — Lauren Handy, William Goodman, John Hinshaw, Heather Idoni and Herb Geraghty — had violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, which prohibits preventing someone from trying to kill an unborn baby.

In this case, Handy had used an alias to get an appointment at the Washington Surgi-Clinic, which has a notorious reputation for its particularly horrific practices and late-term abortions. After Handy gained entrance to the facility, the other pro-life activists followed and set up a protest that remained in place for three hours until their arrest and removal.

“They sang, prayed out loud, locked arms in front of the facility’s staff entrance, and attached themselves to rope and chains to block doors in the building as a means to ‘delay the murder of kids,” CBN reported of the event.

The Biden DOJ wants to imprison them each for 11 years and fine them each $350,000.

“Instead of being recognized for their heroism, the most pro-abortion administration in history has weaponized the full power of the federal government against them – treating them like terrorists,” wrote Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America in a statement.

The group blasted the trial judge for “extreme pro-abortion bias on display throughout this trial – for instance, donors to abortion giant Planned Parenthood permitted to serve on the jury,” claiming the defendants  “were never going to get a fair hearing.”

Handy was already on the pro-abortion mob’s radar, when officials last year recovered a box of aborted babies at her home, which pro-life activists said they had intercepted when the Surgi Clinic was trying to incinerate them.

U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, who allowed Planned Parenthood donors to sit on her jury, on Thursday ruled that Handy should rot in jail while awaiting sentencing. The judge denied an emergency motion that had been filed to release Handy from pre-sentencing detention.

“We have immediately filed an emergency appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit,” tweeted the Thomas More Society, on behalf of their client.

“Ms. Handy was there to prevent these horrific live-birth abortions, which does not violate the FACE Act,” said Senior Counsel Martin Cannon. “However, she has become a victim of the merciless drive by Biden’s Department of Justice to prosecute those who are trying to protect preborn human beings. To add to that injustice, she was incarcerated when the true violence continues to be committed against innocent children.”

Kemp Shuts Down Fulton DA’s Ousting 24 Hours After Call with Biden

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, an alleged Republican, swiftly addressed and shut down efforts to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis following allegations of bias against former President Donald Trump.

In a press conference on Thursday, Kemp spoke about the ongoing controversy involving Willis and her legal actions against Trump, voicing his opposition to efforts to have her removed from the case. Kemp’s action came just 24 hours after a conversation with President Joe Biden, during which their conversation purportedly focused on hurricane recovery efforts.

“Until now, I haven’t seen any evidence that justifies intervention by the prosecuting attorney oversight commission regarding DA Willis’ actions or inactions,” Kemp claimed. “As long as I serve as governor, we will uphold the law and the Constitution, regardless of its political implications.”

Willis has a long history of Trump-hating, as well as engaging in the same activities embedded in the multi-count RICO case she’s prosecuting against Trump for challenging the dubious results of the 2020 election.

Georgia Rep. Colton Moore, the Republican leading the charge against Willis, accused Kemp of allowing personal bias to influence his judgment and called for an emergency session to address the situation.

“As the corrupt Fulton County DA continues to target Donald Trump… I only have one question for the Governor: When are you going to stand with the people of Georgia and convene the emergency session that your constituents are demanding?” Moore stated in reaction.

The Georgia governor claimed he had voiced his concerns against Willis in the past but chose to publicly express his opposition to the removal efforts a day after Biden acknowledged on Twitter that he had spoken with Kemp to coordinate federal assistance for Hurricane Idalia’s landfall.

On Wednesday, Trump shared a video on Truth Social to thank Moore for his support and referred to him as a “highly respected” lawmaker. In the minute-long video, Trump also focused on Willis, describing her as an embarrassment to the nation.

In particular, Trump remarked, “Failed DA Fani Willis — who has allowed Atlanta, Fulton County to become a record-setting in murder and violent crime-war zone with almost no retribution for those murderers — shockingly indicted your favorite president, me, for a perfect phone call.”

Trump expressed his intention to win the 2024 presidential election, adding, “I want to thank the great people of Georgia for putting up with this crap.”

According to a leaked email obtained by the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Aug. 9, Willis responded to the scathing criticism aimed at her, urging her colleagues to turn a blind eye to the backlash. Her indictment of Trump for allegedly violating state law by challenging the 2020 election results has sparked controversy, with Trump, his supporters and even some critics strongly opposing the contentious prosecution.

Biden has declined to comment on the case but awarded Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, two Fulton County election workers, with presidential medals for their role in countering doubts about the voters’ intentions for his candidacy. Both Freeman and Moss are involved in the Fulton County DA’s case against Trump.

Senate GOP Weighs ‘Special’ Meeting After Physician Statement on McConnell

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Republican senators are contemplating the possibility of convening an emergency meeting, reflecting mounting doubts about Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s fitness for leadership. A second incident of freeze-up medical scare within a month has fueled internal deliberations.

Sources revealed on Thursday that a faction of GOP rank-and-file members is quietly discussing a conversation about McConnell’s ability to continue in his role. These talks, first detailed by Politico, are occurring without the involvement of party leadership.

The outlet’s report coincided with the day attending physician Brian P. Monahan issued a statement about McConnell’s seemingly fragile health.

“I have consulted with Leader McConnell and conferred with his neurology team,” Monahan said in the statement. “After evaluating yesterday’s incident, I have informed Leader McConnell that he is medically clear to continue with his schedule as planned.”

In an attempt to downplay Republicans’ concerns, Monahan added, “Occasional lightheadedness is not uncommon in concussion recovery and can also be expected as a result of dehydration.”

Triggering a special conference meeting requires just five GOP votes, reported Politico. Confidential sources suggested this path might reignite a situation similar to a past episode that shook McConnell’s party standing.

An anonymous senator remarked, “A handful choosing that route could mean history repeating itself,” referring to previous internal clashes around McConnell.

Speculation swirls about McConnell’s health and potential GOP successors. Names circulating include Minority Whip John Thune, S.D., Sen. John Cornyn, Texas, and Conference Chair John Barrasso, Wyo.

“I talked to Senator McConnell yesterday and he seemed to be doing fine,” Cornyn told his Dallas constituents on Thursday, according to the Washington Post. “We all wish him well.”

President Joe Biden rushed to defend McConnell claiming he had no concerns about the Senate minority leader’s health. “I spoke to him today,” Biden claimed in statements to reporters at a FEMA headquarters. “He was his old self on the telephone.”

Biden called McConnell a “good friend” the day prior. “Mitch is a friend, as you know, not a joke,” the president told reporters. “I know people don’t believe that’s the case – but we have disagreements politically – but he’s a good friend. And so, I’m going to try to get in touch with him later this afternoon. I don’t know enough to know.”

Senators are expected to return to Washington next week.

Leftist Loon Keith Olbermann Slammed for Shameless Pot Shot at Champion Swimmer Riley Gaines

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) In an apparent attempt to maintain an iota of relevancy, washed-out leftist and disgraced former ESPN talker Keith Olbermann lobbed a gross and wildly inaccurate slur against a world-class athlete and defender of women’s safety in sports.

Olbermann proclaimed on Wednesday that the reason why former collegiate champion swimmer Riley Gaines lost to transgender swimmer “Lia” Thomas was because Gaines “sucked at swimming.”

Olbermann attacked Gaines after she posted a tweet to remind Nebraska voters that radical transgender state legislator Megan Hunt thought that defining a woman was ridiculous. “Can you just address the reality and move past it? You sucked at swimming. That’s why you lost,” the bloated one bloviated.

In addition to the community note that was added to Olbermann’s inane assertion, the online backlash was fast and furious, including a pitch-perfect response from Gaines. “Ah, makes sense now why you got fired from ESPN,” she tweeted.

Gaines has been a champion for legislation that protects female athletes from being forced to compete against biological males passing as trans females. She gained firsthand knowledge of the unfair, and often dangerous, trans invasion of female sports via her competitive encounters with the transgendered Lia Thomas.

Others piled on Olbermann for his egregious attack on women in sports, and his obnoxious slur of Gaines.

“She didn’t lose, you senile old nutjob,” an Ultra Grateful Calvin wrote. “And this? This right here is why the entire world hates you. Everyone.”

Canadian women’s rights activist and writer Meghan Murphy offered her blunt assessment of Olbermann’s warped criticism, writing simply, “You are embarrassing,” while former women’s tennis star Martina Navratilova asked incredulously, Really Keith? You can do better than this, surely. Get past it. Suck??? Wtf?”

Women’s social media app Giggle founder Sall Grover responded with a challenge for Olbermann to tell women’s tennis champion Serena Williams that she also “sucked,” attaching a video of the superstar telling David Letterman that “men’s tennis and women’s tennis are completely different sports” because men “are a lot faster, they serve harder, they hit harder.”

Jon Voight Cements Status as Hollywood’s Based Icon W/ Brutal Indictment of Biden Regime

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Long a bastion of conservative rationality in the sea of Hollywood’s far-leftist orthodoxies, actor Jon Voight delivered a powerful message posted to social media this week that warned of a looming battle for the soul of the nation.

“What are we to do? What have we become but a nation of destructive behavior?” Voight intoned, reflecting on the Biden regime’s relentless attacks on former President Donald Trump and the destructive results of Biden’s many misguided policy agendas.

“This is now a war, a war against all of us. The Biden administration is a corrupt mob and the Obama administration fuels the cycle,” Voight said.

“This system now allows criminals to steal from department stores and all they say is to watch and not do anything and this is ok, to sit and allow these monsters to destroy hard-working designers and retailers, my God,” Voight continued.

“My fellow Americans this is a civil war, and this is the time we must stand for truths. If we don’t see this, you, your children, your grandchildren, sisters, brothers will all pay the price for this default,” Voight warned.

“Let us not beg, let us not steal, but allow God’s truths to be yours and mine. Let us not hide our pride, but allow God’s greatest truths to show the way,” Voight said. “If we allow deceit against President Trump and allow this lie to win, we will all regret this.”

Throwing his full weight behind Trump’s 2024 run that the Biden regime is trying desperately to derail, Voight encouraged conservatives and the MAGA base to, “Let us not allow the manipulation of this government to destroy this land, our purpose, our love our light,” and to keep the fight moving forward despite threats from an increasingly radical left.

”Allow the truth to remind us all that we are a nation that has been free and now our freedom is being taken away with lies and greed,” Voight closed. “Stand up now, for the only truths that can save us.”

FBI Agent Admits that Undercover Informant Trained Militia to Kidnap Gov. Whitmer

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) After much prodding, FBI agent Henrick Impola admitted Thursday during the state Whitmer kidnap trial that his own undercover informant trained the men accused of conspiring to kidnap Michigan’s governor.

Impola’s admission came when he was questioned about a militia field training exercise conducted at Cambria, Wisconsin in July 2020. According to the FBI, the field training exercise was preparation for the Wolverine Watchmen militia’s mission to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

The fact that the Cambria field training exercise, or FTX, was concocted by the FBI has been public knowledge for years.

Buzzfeed News reported in July 2021 that FBI informant Dan Chappel “drove five Watchmen and 6,000 rounds of ammunition to Cambria, Wisconsin, for a national training exercise organized by [another FBI informant, Stephen Robeson].”

“He rented a Suburban for the weekend, paid for gas, and subsidized food and lodging for the group, all courtesy of the FBI,” Buzzfeed reported at the time.

But at Thursday’s trial, agent Impola initially denied that his informant, Chappel, organized the training.

Defense attorney William Barnett, who’s representing defendant Eric Molitor, asked Impola why Chappel is seen on video providing training to the Watchmen.

At first, Impola insisted that Chappel—who claims to be a decorated Iraq War veteran—was simply asking questions about the FTX.

But Barnett persisted, noting that the Wolverine Watchmen performed better than any other militia who participated in the Cambria FTX—“and that’s because they were trained by Dan,” Barnett argued.

“I don’t think so,” Impola countered. “I think [they performed the best in the FTX] because they had the most team training.”

Barnett then asked Impola again who trained the Watchmen. Finally, Impola admitted that his informant provided training.

“Paul Bellar and [informant] Dan were part of the training,” the agent said.

Barnett then emphasized how improper it is for an FBI informant to train others for an alleged terrorist plot.

“How is it that you’re allowing your informant, who’s supposed to be a listening post, to train for an illegal purpose?” the defense attorney asked.

“He’s basically training them for the crime we’re here for, isn’t he?”

Impola insisted that Chappel provided the training to establish his credibility with the militias.

“I told him one of his roles is to make sure nobody gets hurt, nobody gets shot. I didn’t want any accidental discharges to happen, and for law enforcement to come on the scene,” Impola said.

“I thought that would be unsafe, so I had discussions with Dan about what training was going to be performed, what his role was, and how he’d be participating.”

Impola’s testimony ended Thursday, and the next witness to testify was undercover FBI agent Mark Schweers. The trial is expected to last about another two weeks.

Ex-Proud Boy Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison in Jan. 6 Capitol Case

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Former Proud Boy Zachary Rehl, whose defense team was infiltrated by an FBI informant during his trial, was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill protest-turned-riot.

Charged with seditious conspiracy, Rehl was seen on video spraying a chemical irritant at law enforcement officers outside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Prosecutors had recommended a 30-year prison sentence for Rehl, who helped lead dozens of Proud Boys members and associates in marching to the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Rehl and three other Proud Boys who were convicted by a jury in May after a four-month trial in Washington. A fifth Proud Boys member, Dominic Pezzola, was acquitted of seditious conspiracy but convicted of other serious charges.

The trial looked to be slanted against the defendants from the beginning.

The deck was particularly stacked against Rehl, who learned in March that a person he planned on using as a defense witness had, in fact, been working as an FBI informant from at least April 2021 to January 2023.

“During this period of time, the [informant] has been in contact via telephone, text messaging and other electronic means, with one or more of the counsel for the defense and at least one defendant … The [informant] also participated in prayer meetings with members of one or more of the defendants’ families,” Rehl said in a motion he filed in March.

“The [informant] also engaged in discussions with one of the defendant’s family members about replacing one of the defense counsels.”

However, the presiding judge ruled that the presense of a spy close to Rehl’s defense team didn’t affect his ability to receive a fair trial. About two months later, he was found guilty.

The judge who sentenced Rehl also on Thursday also sentenced Proud Boys organizer Joseph Biggs to 17 years in prison.

Enrique Tarrio, a Miami resident who was the Proud Boys’ national chairman and top leader, is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday. His sentencing was moved from Wednesday to next week because U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly was sick.

Ariz. Senate Brawl Could Feature Heavyweights Sinema, Lake and Masters

(By Cameron Arcand, The Center Square) Arizona Republican Blake Masters is considering another bid for the United States Senate, which could pave the way for a competitive primary race.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Masters was considering a bid for the seat currently held by Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who left the Democratic Party last year. On the Democratic side, Congressman Ruben Gallego is the only major contender for the nomination, and he raised a noteworthy $3.1 million last quarter.

However, Republicans have a much less clear situation when it comes to their field of candidates. Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is the only major declared candidate, but others have waited to see whether or not former gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake decides to enter the race. Lake has repeatedly said she’s considering the possibility.

Shortly after the story broke, the Arizona Democratic Party was quick to jump in with their thoughts on the potential development in the race.

“The Arizona Senate race is rapidly becoming the GOP’s worst nightmare,” Senior Communications Advisor Olivia Taylor-Puckett said in a statement.

Lake and Masters essentially ran as a ticket in the 2022 midterm election, and they campaigned together alongside Secretary of State nominee Mark Finchem and Attorney General nominee Abe Hamadeh. Lamb also campaigned in support of the Republican nominees, including joining the slate at the southern border days before the election.

All four of them lost to their Democratic opponents, with Hamadeh coming the closest, as a recount determined he lost by 280 votes.

Masters conceded his race to Sen. Mark Kelly in November, whereas the others fought their results in court. While Lake and Masters were seemingly in lockstep during the general election, signs of dissent amongst them both appeared on social media last week.

When Masters was promoting an audio event known on X, formerly known as Twitter, Lake criticized him for staying out of the spotlight recently.

“I hope you bring up election fraud, and Election crime. You’ve been quite silent. And “Dr” Andrew doesn’t think it exists,” she posted, also critiquing the host of the event.

As for the incumbent Sinema, she has yet to formally announce whether or not she will pursue re-election.
