Former U.S. Attorney Says FBI, David Weiss Hindered Hunter Biden Investigation

(Headline USA) Former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady testified this week that the FBI prevented him from investigating Hunter Biden’s work for Ukrainian oil company Burisma.

Brady, who served as the Justice Department’s top federal prosecutor in Pittsburgh from 2017 to 2021, told House Judiciary Committee members during a closed-door hearing on Monday that FBI leadership and special counsel David Weiss deliberately slow-walked any attempt to look into Hunter Biden’s financial dealings.

Brady said he was tasked with “looking into allegations of Ukrainian corruption broadly,” as well as “anything that intersected with Hunter Biden and his role in Burisma.”

“I think there was reluctance on the part of the FBI to really do any tasking related to our assignment,” he told lawmakers. “There was a larger group at the FBI, including FBI headquarters, that had eyes on what was happening and which required signoff for any investigative steps that FBI Pittsburgh was asked to take by us.”

In one instance, Brady said “17 different people” at FBI headquarters had to approve an assignment for his investigation—a requirement he had “never” seen “in my career,” Brady added.

Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware who was appointed as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden by Attorney General Merrick Garland, was also reluctant, Brady said.

In fact, Brady said his former bosses, Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General Seth DuCharme and Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, had to force Weiss to cooperate with the Pittsburgh office in their investigation.

“[A]t one point, the communication between our offices was so constricted that we had to provide written questions to the investigative team in Delaware, almost in the form of interrogatories, and receive written answers back,” Brady said.

The testimony comes just days after Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed that the FBI sat on dozens of tips from more than 40 informants about the Biden family’s alleged influence peddling scheme.

British Influencer Oli London Exposes Hamas Crisis Actor in Tweet Thread

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In a recent thread, British social-media influencer Oli London exposed a supposed victim of Israeli bombings as a Hamas political propaganda operative who acts in fake crisis videos.

London posted the tweets on Wednesday, containing several videos of the alleged crisis actor pretending to be in critical condition in a hospital bed.

London searched through various Hamas propaganda videos and found the same man acting throughout.

“The man is a Hamas musician and actor who has been appearing in various videos for the terror group,” London wrote.

“One video he is seen celebrating in the streets as Hamas fire rockets towards Israel,” London added. “In another video he can be seen ‘crying’ after claiming his apartment was hit by an airstrike. And in another video he is seen singing while brandishing a gun while praising Hamas.”

Several of the aforementioned videos, however, were posted online after the video of the actor supposedly in critical condition in a hospital bed.

Some on Twitter noted that the mainstream media will likely ignore the story, while others pointed out Hamas’s poor acting skills.

London, who exposed the fraudulent Hamas operative, has himself made headlines in the past year.

Last winter, he appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show, back when the anchor was still a mainstay at Fox News, to discuss his harrowing experience with transgenderism.

Before de-transitioning, the British man had undergone multiple surgeries to become a Korean woman.

London slammed the Left for attempting to arbitrarily create a “new norm” of masculinity.

“They’re eroding the alpha male—the alpha, straight male has been eroded,” London said, citing “radical ideology” that idealizes pathetic men. He offered examples of high-profile “beta” males such as British singer Harry Styles and failed Democrat political candidate Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas.

Ultimately, London said that his life was saved when he converted to Christianity.

“This actually kind of saved my life,” London said. “It’s brought me back to who I am as a person, finding God.”

FBI Witness Reveals Raskin Lied about Bribery Evidence to Protect Biden

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A former prosecutor involved in the investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings has come forward with explosive revelations about the DOJ’s handling of the case, delivering a blow to Democrats’ allegations that the Trump administration had closed the probe.

Former Pittsburgh U.S. Attorney Scott Brady testified before the House Oversight Committee last week that claims made by Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., that the probe had been closed were “not true.”

Specifically, Brady said, “My understanding of Mr. Raskin’s public statements is that, based on the determination that I and my team found the allegations in the 1023 not credible or other information not credible, we did not escalate the assessment to a limited or full investigation.”

“That’s not true,” he added, according to the transcript reviewed by Just the News.

Brady’s account directly contradicts statements made by Raskin, who has long claimed that the DOJ concluded there was not sufficient evidence to warrant a further investigation into the bribery allegations embroiling both the president and his embattled son.

Specifically, he had claimed in a July 7 statement, “I stand 100% by my statements that we were told by the FBI team that visited us on Monday, June 5, 2023, that the Department of Justice team of prosecutors and FBI agents under U.S. Attorney Scott Brady determined that there were no grounds to escalate their probe from an initial assessment of the allegations surfaced by Rudy Giuliani to a preliminary or full-blown investigation and that it was therefore closed down.”

“In January 2020, Attorney General Barr handpicked Scott Brady, the U.S. Attorney in Pittsburgh, to review allegations by Rudy Giuliani that President Biden and Hunter Biden were involved in a Ukrainian corruption scheme. As part of this assessment, U.S. Attorney Brady, together with a team of experienced prosecutors and FBI agents, assessed relevant information, including interviewing this Confidential Human Source—an interview that was recorded in the subpoenaed FD-1023 form.”

At the time, former Attorney General Bill Barr slapped down Raskin’s attempts to downplay the damning allegations against Biden. “It’s not true. It wasn’t closed down,” Barr said of Raskin’s claims. In an interview with the Federalist, Barr further clarified that the investigation was actually sent to Delaware for “further investigation.”

Republicans in the House Oversight reacted to Rakin’s apparent lie with a scathing rebuke. “Former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady’s testimony CONFIRMS Ranking Member Raskin LIED about the FBI’s Biden Bribery Record,” the committee said on a Twitter post. “The U.S. Attorney’s Office uncovered enough indicia of credibility of the evidence and recommended further investigative steps to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware.”

Gaetz Accuses McCarthy of Attempting to Sabotage Speaker Race

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In a recent appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., accused former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., of rigging the speaker race after losing his position earlier this month.

Gaetz was responsible for ousting McCarthy on Oct. 3 after filing a motion to vacate, one of several rules changes that the California centrist was forced to agree to in January as a concession during his own election process, which extended 15 rounds.

Bannon started the conversation Wednesday by asking Gaetz to walk him and the show’s viewers through the process of choosing a new House speaker, which—after three weeks of embarassing public infighting and stalemates with the caucus’s top three choices—culminated Wednesday in the selection of Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La.

According to Gaetz, Republicans had to work around the embattled McCarthy from the very start because he was allegedly attempting to regain the speakership for himself.

“Kevin McCarthy was working the whole time to try to get people to believe that the only person who could govern the Republican conference is Kevin McCarthy,” Gaetz began.

As the House progressed through its process, Gaetz detailed the various ways in which McCarthy hindered the ability of Republicans to choose a new speaker.

For instance, when some Republicans moved to nominate Johnson—the eventual victor–McCarthy objected on procedural grounds, going so far as to manipulate his way into the race as a write-in candidate.

Gaetz said that McCarthy’s words and actions “showed everyone” that McCarthy himself was to blame for much of the chaos of the past weeks as he nixed the several candidates put forward in the search.

This included undermining the likes of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., and Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, among others.

But, fortunately for Republicans, McCarthy had not yet turned his attention toward Johnson.

“He hadn’t yet figured out a way to knife Mike Johnson,” Gaetz said, noting that McCarthy’s machinations had “paralyzed” the House.

“For the last three weeks, the reason the House of Representative has been paralyzed, is because for his own selfish gain, Kevin McCarthy was sabotaging the candidacy of anyone else because he was plotting a return,” Gaetz said. “And we stopped it.”

Gaetz also told Bannon that he approved of Johnson, whom he called “a brilliant constitutional attorney,” noting that he has a record of taking on “the toughest cases before the Louisiana Supreme Court.”

Vegas Teens Who Mowed Down Cyclists Smirk, Give Finger to Victim’s Family at Hearing

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Two Las Vegas teenagers accused of running over a retired police chief with a car laughed and made obscene gestures at the victim’s family in court during a Tuesday morning arraignment.

Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, face murder charges for striking Andreas Probst, 64, who was riding down the highway on a bicycle, according to the Daily Mail.

Ayala (who was 17 at the time of the alleged murder) and Keys faced charges as adults after video surfaced showing they had filmed the brazen act and at least one other in which the individual survived. In both, they appeared to intentionally target the victims.

They entered not guilty pleas to felony murder, battery and grand larceny at their arraignment Tuesday as Probst’s family looked on in the courtroom.

Video of the two assailants during the hearing showed them smiling and laughing, and appearing to give the family the middle finger, the Daily Mail reported.

“These guys did not respect the court whatsoever, said Probst’s daughter, Taylor after the hearing.

“They were just d*****g around the entire time,” she continued “They were flipping us off. How can you sit there after taking a man’s life and act like such an entitled pr**k?”

Cops initially arrested Ayala and Keys for an outstanding warrant and obstructing a police officer when they discovered the footage of Probst on their phones.

Prior to the murder charge, Ayala, who had a history of juvenile crimes, mocked the criminal-justice system and suggested he would be released quickly.

“You think this juvenile [expletive] is gonna do some [expletive]? I’ll be out in 30 days, I’ll bet you,” he said. “It’s just ah, [expletive] ah, hit-and-run—slap on the wrist.”

Alaya’s mother said she did not know why her son did such a horrible thing.

“I don’t know why he did this,” she told 8 News Now. “I don’t know if God can forgive this.”

Ayala was a repeat offender, having been in and out of juvenile detention several times. The child welfare system took Keys in at eight years old.

Deputy Police Chief Nick Farese called the spree “a cowardly act that in my 22 years of law enforcement left me personally appalled.”

The judge set the trial for Sept. 16, 2024.

REPORT: 70% of Criminals Released Early By Kentucky Gov. Reoffended

(Headline USA) Nearly 70% of criminals released early as a result of Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s policies went on to reoffend, according to a state report.

Beshear released nearly 2,000 criminals from the state’s prison system in April and August 2020 to prevent “overcrowding,” arguing at the time that close living quarters could spread COVID-19.

Following the first release, Beshear praised the effort as “fairly successful at getting people back in society and making sure they are healthy.”

“I wish each of those individuals a better life moving forward, one that is constructive, one that they can find purpose in, whether that be faith, family or a good job. Let’s help make sure we can work with these individuals and give second chances,” he added.

However, a 2021 report released by the Administrative Office of the Courts revealed that 553 of the 1,704 criminals released by Beshear were later charged with felonies.

The latest state report, published on Oct. 6, confirmed that 68% of the individuals released in April 2020 and 69% of those released in August 2020 “have had at least one criminal case including at least a misdemeanor charge filed against them since release.”

Data also show crime across the state of Kentucky spiked after Beshear’s commutations, reaching a record level in April 2021.

Beshear is running for reelection against Republican Daniel Cameron, who has hit Beshear on his pandemic policies. Beshear has continued to defend his COVID restrictions, claiming he “showed people during the pandemic I was willing to make the hard decisions, even if it cost me.”

Cameron responded by citing Kentucky voters’ concerns about crime.

“You don’t feel safer because this governor put thousands of criminals back on the street,” Cameron said. “It’s the main reason the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police endorsed me. They trust me to keep the streets safe.”

The latest poll shows Beshear leading Cameron 49% to 33%.

BREAKING: Mark Meadows Was Allegedly an FBI Informant, Wore Wire to Spy on Trump

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) On the heels of a report this week that Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, spoke with Special Counsel Jack Smith at least three times in the past year, Meadows has further been outed as an FBI informant who wore a wire to spy on the President while he was in office.

That allegation comes from Students for Trump founder Ryan Fournier, who said on Twitter that he’s confirmed his information with multiple members of Congress and other confidential informants.

“Mark Meadows worked for the FBI as an informant and wore a wire to record all conversations with President Trump, while he was the Chief of Staff to him. This is not only unconstitutional, but it’s criminal,” he said.

“This is worse than Watergate. This is going to be the destruction of the FBI.”

Fournier’s allegations follow an ABC News report from Tuesday about Meadows speaking with Special Counsel Smith.

Rumors of Meadows’s defection from Team Trump have persisted ever since his subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee in 2021.

Meadows was one of three Trump advisers charged by the Democrat House with “contempt of Congress” for reluctance to comply with the sham Star-Chamber investigation. But unlike Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, he was never charged by the Justice Department due to his eventual cooperation.

Sources close to the matter said specifically that Meadows was granted immunity if he would agree to testify before a grand jury.

According to those same sources, Meadows repeatedly emphasized to Smith and his legal team that he tried to persuade Trump that the 2020 election voter-fraud allegations had no basis.

“Obviously we didn’t win,” Meadows reportedly told Smith, calling Trump’s rhetoric after the election “dishonest.”

Despite the longstanding murmurs, Meadows’s betrayal of Trump hits hard, especially given that Trump has, in the past, referred to Meadows as a “special friend” and “a great chief of staff—as good as it gets.”

ACLU Sides w/ Trump on Gag Order as Feds Beg Judge to Reinstate

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) In an unexpected move, the American Civil Liberties Union came to the defense of former President Donald Trump as federal prosecutors attempt to reinstate a gag order in the Washington, D.C., case alleging Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election.

The ACLU argued that the ruling—issued by U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan earlier this month but temporarily suspended pending appeal—was unconstitutional, and would infringe on Trump’s right to free speech, according to Valiant News.

Although once considered to be a nonpartisan watchdog for constitutional rights, the newly woke ACLU in recent years has become something of a self-parody, even suing during the pandemic to force states to allow mask mandates in schools under the contorted logic that banning them discriminated against disabled children.

The far-left group attempted to sue Trump and his administration over 400 times throughout his presidency, making its recent filing a surprise to many.

Unlike many on the Left, they may see the implications that the lawfare strategy has in setting a dangerous precedent next time Republicans regain power of targeting political adversaries with spurious, politically motivated attacks through the justice system and then attempting to silence them from speaking out upon threat of incarceration.

“[I]f we allow his free speech rights to be abridged, we know that other unpopular voices—even ones we agree with—will also be silenced,” said ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero. “As much as we disagreed with Donald Trump’s policies, everyone is entitled to the same First Amendment protection against gag orders that are too broad and too vague.”

Chutkan’s order, specifically targetied Trump’s criticisms of special counsel Jack Smith, his employees, and other witnesses in the D.C. District Court case.

The Marxist, Obama-appointed judge accused Trump of conducting a “smear campaign,” and encouraging “violence against public servants who are simply doing their jobs.”

However, legal experts such as George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley have pointed out that Chutkan left the gag order overly vague and open-ended, considering the long list of potential “witnesses” Smith and his prosecutors may draw from.

Many potential witnesses, such as former Vice President Mike Pence and former Gen. Mark Milley, just so happen to be public figures or political rivals that might otherwise come under fire in the course of Trump’s campaigning.

“If Chutkan had simply barred statements targeting court staff or jurors, there would be no controversy,” Turley wrote. “But she has imposed a vaguely worded court order that could turn campaign speeches into criminal contempt.”

The ACLU took specific issue with the term “targeting,” as that could mean anything from identifying particular individuals to incitement of violence.

The group argued that voters must be able to hear what Trump has to say on the matter, particularly as his 2024 presidential campaign continues.

Recent polling data showed that the majority of voters believe Trump prosecutions are “politically motivated.” Millions of people expressed the belief that the prosecutions are altogether wrong, but that they will be the most discussed issue of the 2024 campaign.

John Lauro and Todd Blanche, both lawyers for Trump, launched an appeal against the gag order. The appeal could delay the March 2024 trial.

Smith and his team, however, asked Chutkan to reinstate the order on Tuesday, citing recent comments Trump made online about his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows.

In reference to a separate case in Fulton County, Georgia, Trump noted that some former members of his inner circle—such as former attorneys Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis—had struck plea bargains to testify against Trump and other “co-conspirators” in the ambitious racketeering case.

““Some people would make that deal, but they are weaklings and cowards, and so bad for the future our Failing Nation,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account. “I don’t think that Mark Meadows is one of them but who really knows?”

Meadows conveniently was revealed by ABC News on Wednesday to be cooperating with Smith. He reportedly has appeared before the grand jury and spoken with Smith at least three times in return for an immunity deal.

WATCH: Political Prisoner, Infowars Host Delivers Inspiring Message before Going to Jail

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Of all the numerous egregious incidents of political persecution stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill protest-turned-riot, Infowars host Owen Shroyer’s case ranks among the worst for its brazen attack on the First Amendment.

A journalist who neither entered the Capitol nor encouraged others to do so, Justice Department prosecutors nevertheless sought to imprison Shroyer for allegedly making inflammatory statements ahead of Jan. 6.

And instead of scolding DOJ prosecutors for seeking to imprison a journalist for First Amendment-protected activity, a federal judge granted their request—sentencing Shroyer to 60 days in jail.

But that seemingly hasn’t dampened Shroyer’s spirits. Before going to jail, he released a video on Wednesday, promising to improve himself, and encouraging others to do so, too.

“I’ll be there for 60 days. And in those 60 days, I’m going to find ways to better myself. I’m going to find a way to come out stronger, wiser, bolder and more focused. So for 60 days while I’m in there, I’m going to try to improve myself and become a better person,” he said.

“I offer you this challenge: For the 60 days I’m away, the next time you see my face and hear my voice, I challenge you to become a better person. Use these 60 days while I’m away to improve yourself. If I can improve myself in there, you can certainly improve yourself out there,” he added.

“God bless, God speed.”

Shroyer is caged at the Oakdale federal correctional institution. Mailing info is included at the tail end of his video.

He was initially charged in August 2021 with disorderly conduct and entering a restricted area of Capitol grounds. He entered a deal with the Justice Department in June to plead guilty to the trespass charge.

Even though prosecutors didn’t present evidence that Shroyer explicitly told protestors to enter the Capitol—unlike J6 provocateur Ray Epps, who has yet to be charged—his words lathered up the crowd into a frenzy, the DOJ argued.

“The events of January 6th did not happen in a bubble; individuals like Shroyer stoked the fires of discontent with the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election online, driving a mob of individuals to descend on Washington, D.C. on January 6th,” argued Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly Paschall.

“Shroyer cannot light a fire near a can of gasoline, and then express concern or disbelief when it explodes.”

A judge sentenced Shroyer to 60 days imprisonment last month.

Another Mass Shooting Involves Schizophrenic Gov’t Employee, Reports of Multiple Shooters and Other Bizarre Facts

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) At least 16 people were killed Wednesday evening in a Lewiston, Maine mass shooting that—like so many other similar incidents—is already sparking conspiracies due to reports of the suspect being an Army reservist who was “hearing voices” in his head, possible multiple shooters and other bizarre facts.

Moreover, given that the shooter reportedly threatened to shoot up a National Guard base earlier this year, he was almost certainly on the FBI’s radar. That would make this incident at least the 23rd time that the FBI has monitored, but failed to stop, mass shooters before they go on their sprees.

According to early reports, a man shot and killed at least 16 people at a restaurant and a bowling alley in Maine and then fled into the night. As of the publication of this article, a massive search by hundreds of officers was underway, while frightened residents stayed locked in their homes Thursday under a shelter-in-place advisory.

A police bulletin identified Robert Card, 40, as a person of interest in the attack in Lewiston that sent panicked bowlers scrambling behind pins, into corners and a back room when shots rang out around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Card was described as a firearms instructor believed to be in the U.S. Army Reserve and assigned to a training facility in Saco, Maine.

The document, circulated to law enforcement officials, said Card had been committed to a mental health facility for two weeks in the summer of 2023. It did not provide details about his treatment or condition but said Card had reported “hearing voices and threats to shoot up” the military base.

Card joins a slew of other mass shooters who “heard voices” in their head—including Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz and Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis.

Card’s mental illness is far from the only bizarre factoid in this latest mass shooting.

Lewiston Police had also said in an earlier Facebook post that they were dealing with an active shooter incident at Schemengees Bar and Grille and at Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley about 4 miles away.

An unconfirmed video of a man being arrested in Lewiston has been circulating on Twitter—leading to questions about whether there were multiple shooters.

Despite these apparent anomalies, partisan hacks were quick to locate Card’s social media and peg him as a right-winger.

His Twitter account’s “likes” included posts about trans mass shooters, COVID-19 being created in a lab and the government banning guns.

But even Card’s Twitter account raises questions about its authenticity. As noted by right-wing personality Second City Bureaucrat, he only started his account last November.
