(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Rumors have swirled for years that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., over imbibes in adult beverages to the point of being hobo-like drunk, but it was her husband, the alleged stock fraudster, who was arrested this weekend for drunk driving.
Paul Pelosi, 82, was booked on two counts for suspicion of DUI in Northern California, reported the Daily Mail.
The California Highway Patrol arrested Pelosi at nearly midnight in Napa, California, and he was booked in Napa County Jail at 4:13 a.m. Sunday.
The two misdemeanor charges against Paul Pelosi are driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, according to the Mail. Pelosi was reportedly released after posting $5,000 bail.
It is unclear if the charges have anything to do with the vineyard that the Pelosi couple own in Napa, the Mail reported. Nancy Pelosi does not drink alcohol, according to previous statement from her comms team.
