(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., received praise from the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., because of the affirmed RINO’s dedication to the Jan. 6 committee and snubbing her own party and constituents , according to Breitbart.
“Speaker Pelosi asked by @JaxAlemany how Liz Cheney has done as vice-chair of the Jan. 6 select committee,” Politico‘s Kyle Cheney tweeted, and added Pelosi’s response.
“Excellently.”
The committee that was created after the Jan. 6 protests on Capitol Hill will hold its first public hearings on Jun. 8 to allegedly draw “national attention to witness testimony and evidence gathered during nearly a year of investigating,” according to The Hill.
The televised hearings have already been mocked as pure political theater, with Democrats recruiting their own producer to give it a Hollywood touch. The nine-member committee is stacked with seven Democrats and two squishy alleged Republicans — Cheney and Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill.,– appointed by Pelosi.
Cheney, down by 30% in her re-election bid versus Trump-endorsed challenger Harriet Hageman, is likely to use the J6 Tribunal show trial to score points with Left-leaning, never-Trumpers. So far, that effort has backfired.
In late May, Trump held a rally in Wyoming for Hageman, where he said that Cheney is a “backstabbing” RINO.
“Worse than the terrible Democrats are the backstabbing RINO Republicans that are helping them do their act,” Trump declared.
“And there is no RINO in America who has thrown in her lot with the radical Left more than Liz Cheney.”
Trump also described her as a “lapdog for Pelosi and a human soundbite machine for CNN and MSDNC (sic),” reported Breitbart.
“She has gone crazy,” Trump said of Cheney.
“I’ve been hearing these stories for years. Now I get it. She’s gone totally crazy.”
Trump also “slammed” the entire Cheney family, specifically her father, Dick Cheney, for being globalists and warmongers that have been doing nothing other than getting America into different conflicts around the world, spilling American blood and throwing away its money.
