(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) The Biden administration continues its crusade to gaslight America on soaring gas prices, deflecting blame everywhere except at the White House where it rightfully belongs.
But with prices topping a $5-a-gallon national average, even Biden’s most avid defenders in the fake news media are beginning to call his bluff.
MSNBC host Willie Geist recently conceded that the American public is catching on to Biden’s dissembling ruse, reported the Daily Caller.
While allowing that Russia/Ukraine conflict has had some impact on gas prices, Geist told director of the White House National Economic Council, Brian Deese, that most American’s aren’t blaming Vladimir Putin.
“But I promise you, the landscaper two days ago I talked to at the gas pump who was trying to fill up two cans and backpack blowers and mowers in his truck was not going ‘damn you, Putin,” Geist told Deese.
“ So what do you say to him? What do you say to families who can’t afford all their groceries right now?”
Deese predictably answered with more White House spin.
“That is the impact of war,” he claimed. “It’s not fun, nobody likes it. But we have to stand against that aggression.”
Blaming Russia for inflation is not unique to Deese. Biden has placed all the blame for the rising cost of living on Putin. He called the surge in prices, “Putin’s tax on both food and gas,” according to Bloomberg News.
The failure to account for surging prices coincides with the highest spike in prices of consumer goods in 40 years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fla., argued that the Biden administration is responsible for the rising cost of living.
Rubio said that factions of the Biden administration secretly “like the fact that there’s inflation and high prices,” arguing that Biden thinks it will force Americans to use public transit and purchase electric cars, and thus protect the environment.
Skyrocketing gas prices and inflation are a direct consequence of the Biden administration “waging war on oil and gas and making it harder to produce American oil and gas,” Rubio said.
Rubio predicted prices will worsen because “they [The Biden Administration] have no plan to address it.”
