(Headline USA) A Loudoun County Public Schools official in Virginia encouraged and coached school administrators on how to obtain warrants from a magistrate for children who tried to enter schools without masks, according to the Washington Examiner.
An email sent by John Clarke, the director of safety and security for Loudoun County Public Schools, shows Clarke walking school administrators through a number of steps they should take to enforce the district’s mask mandate. One of the steps included instructions for how to obtain a warrant from a court and how to limit parental access to school buildings.
“Parents should only be admitted at your discretion,” Clark’s email read. “Reminder: While parents have certain educational rights they do NOT have the right to enter your school without proper vetting and permission.”
Clark added that the Loudoun Police Department and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office had informed him that they would not “enforce a suspension letter/no trespass without a trespass summons/warrant being issued from a magistrate.”
In order to obtain this trespass summons/warrant, Clark encouraged school officials to identify who should be classified as a trespasser and turn over the trespasser’s name, address, and date of birth to the courts.
“If you determine that an individual should be trespassed then a school admin representative, in conjunction with S&S Coordinator Rich Thomas, will proceed to the magistrate to swear out a trespass summons/warrant,” he wrote. “School admin will meet Rich Thomas at the Safety & Security office and then proceed to the magistrate, which is located next to our office.”
